Game of Thrones Season 8: Premiere Date Sort of Revealed!

Have no fear, Game of Thrones fans: Spring is coming. And, with it, new episodes of television's most popular cable show are also coming.  FINALLY. HBO has confirmed that the final six installments of Game of Thrones will premiere in April. The network made this exciting announcement at the conclusion of the first teaser for Season 8, which we've included here and which will leave you crying … or cheering … or very possibly both. The preview does not include any new footage from the concluding set of episodes, but it does take us way back in time. We see Ned Stark. We get a look at King Joffrey. We even watch as Hodor takes his tragic final breath. In general, this video sets the stage for the final season, including with it an endless array of past season highlighting centered around various characters and what they done in their quest for survival and power. Reads words on the screen in between a number of bloody and emotional scenes from years gone by: Every battle. Every betrayal. Every alliance. Every risk. Every sacrifice. Every oath. Every death is all… #ForTheThrone. It looks like this hashtag will be the one used by HBO in the weeks and months leading up to Season 8 . As for when the show will actually return? We're gonna take a guess here… A third season of True Detective premieres on Sunday, January 13. If we assume it is comprised of 12 episodes, and if we assume Game of Thrones premiere on the Sunday immediately following the season finale… this would mean Season 8 will kick off on Sunday, April 7. We actually think that's a pretty safe guess. While you wonder how the heck you'll ever make it that long, go ahead and get more excited than ever before via the teaser featured here.

Shaunae Miller DIVES at Finish Line, Wins Gold Medal

Move over, Michael Phelps. Take a seat, Katie Ledecky. Shaunae Miller would like to jump into the Olympic spotlight for a moment. In the concluding seconds of the women's 400-meter sprint final on Monday night, this Bahamas runner did something you almost never see on the Olympic stage: She actually dove across the finish line to assure herself of victory. Miller and London Olympics gold medalist Allyson Felix were side by side, jockeying for position and for history, when Miller took this extraordinary step. For those wondering, it is not against the rules to dive, provided that part of your body crosses the finish line while staying in your lane. For those also wondering: yes, this was an amazing sight to behold. There's a reason why Miller has gone viral. “This is the moment I have been waiting for, I just gave it my all,” she said after the race. Miller won the sprint with a time of 49.44 seconds over Felix, who finished with a time of 49.51 seconds. “I don’t know what happened,” Miller told Australia’s Channel 7. “My legs started to get a little heavy and I was telling myself that I wanted it so bad and I just did whatever it took. Now I’m coming home with a gold medal, so it is such an amazing feeling for me.” We can only imagine. Concluded Miller: “I’m so thankful to God to be able to bring home the gold medal for my country. Is Once Upon a Time about to say goodbye to all that is good in the world? On Sunday night, ABC will air  Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 22 and  Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 23 , wrapping up Season 4 with back-to-back installments. And, based on the official ABC teaser, viewers may be in for a shock when they see certain characters acting in very un characteristic fashion: Once Upon a Time Season 4 Finale Trailer According to the official ABC description, The Author will prove to be a formidable foe, forging an alliance with Gold and causing some major mayhem. Elsewhere, Henry will discover that he has some big shoes to fill when he steps up to save his family before the story’s final page is turned. Will he be able to act as the savior everyone has been seeking before it’s too late? Finally, ABC previews that “everything culminates with a shocking twist that will leave the residents of Storybrooke reeling.” Cue the suspenseful music and then go watch Once Upon a Time online to make sure you’re caught up before the concluding credits roll. Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 16 Recap: Did Hank Baskett and Ava London Hook Up or Not?!

After 15 episodes of buildup, Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 16 finally saw Wilkinson ask husband Hank Baskett point blank if he hooked up with Ava London. What was his response on the concluding half of Kendra on Top: The Untold Story? Like last week, Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 16 served as a postmortem of sorts for the just-wrapped season, one which ended with her taking him back. Yet despite the entire season being based around his alleged mutual hand relief session with a transsexual, only now are we seeing the couple talk about it. There’s been plenty of beating around the bush regarding the supposed beating of … well, you know. But finally, at long last, we heard Kendra ask aloud: Did Hank want to cheat with a transsexual or not, man?! Does he want out?! He answers her in the negative, but that’s about it. She says it’s the first step. Even then, he won’t reveal the details of what happened, and the all-important reason Hank gives for not doing so is that he has to know how she’ll react. If she’s going to be cool, he’ll open up. If she’s going to be confrontational? Well, then he’s just not comfortable telling her exactly what happened with Ava London . So Kendra … tell him it’s okay and everything will be alright first! Because that’s realistic when you supposedly cheat on your wife, Hank. Kendra on Top Clip – Did You Cheat or Not?! All the woman wants, really is to hear it from Hank personally. Not just for clarity, and for the sake of having no more secrets so she can move on, and not just because she doesn’t want to hear only Ava London’s side. Wilkinson wants to know that this was a one-time thing, whatever it was, and that he doesn’t have a fetish for seeking out girls with penises online. She doesn’t say it quite so bluntly, but isn’t it obvious? And is it that unreasonable in her position to be pretty darn curious – and pissed – about this now? Besides Hank’s non-answers, if you watch Kendra on Top online this week it will be pretty much a recap of all that went down in the previous few months. The main takeaway? Kendra and Hank have lost the innocence forever. It’s not over, but they’re now a partnership, a husband and wife working on things, rather than lovers destined to be together in their perfect harmony. The best they can do is get back to that place, and rebuild their relationship. So in hindsight, Kendra feels as though Hank’s alleged affair was good for them. OMG! Agents of SHIELD Premiere: Grade It!

There was no Iron Man or Hulk. No Hawkeye or Thor. Yet Marvel still made its mark on the television world tonight, as Agents of SHIELD premiered to very strong critical reviews. The series appears to possess everything a fan of this universe could demand: There was action (the introduction of Grant, the concluding stand-off with Michael); there was mystery (where was Coulston this whole time? How was he brought back to life? Why is Melinda May hesitant to get into battle?); there was humor ( sounds like someone to make S.H.I.E.L.D. an acronym !). The overall dialogue felt fresh and snappy, which is all we’d ever expect from Joss Whedon, who wrote and directed the pilot. Will that continue now that Whedon has moved on to other projects and will not be in charge of running this series on a weekly basis? That’s a question for another day. For Marvel fans, the episode referenced the “Extremes” technology made famous in Iron Man 3 , giving us an idea of how it will remain loosely connected to the wildly popular movie franchise, while still remaining its own entity. But there’s something here for non-comic fans as well. The mere concept of a group of humans cleaning up after superheroes is intriguing. Even if the show turns out to be a basic procedural disguised as something more, due to its affiliation with Marvel, that’s perfectly okay. Look at NCIS . There’s plenty of room for witty banter and entertainment in a procedural. Will you be sticking around Level 7 to see where this all goes? Are you all aboard the crazy plane?
