Source: Cook County Department of Corrections / Cook County Department of Corrections Fallen King Of R&B Indicted Of Multiple Charges Of Sex Assault R. Kelly has pled not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The disgraced singer appeared in the Cook County Court Monday to answer charges that abused teen girls for years, after spending the weekend behind bars as he struggles to come up with $100,000 bail. His lawyer Steven Greenberg pled not guilty on Kelly’s behalf, and after the hearing, Greenberg insisted his client was innocent and a “rock star” who didn’t need to have nonconsensual sex. BOSSIP can reveal the singer is being held in the jail’s Division 8, which is reserved for vulnerable inmates who could be at risk in general population. If convicted, Kelly could spend the rest of his life in prison. R. Kelly’s plea comes as lawyer Michael Avenatti tweeted that he planned to hand over another graphic video of Kelly sexually abusing an underage girl. He is due back in court next month for owing $161,663 to his ex-wife, Andrea in an unrelated child support case.
Convicted Rapist Daniel Holtzclaw Removed From National Prison Database Even though racist serial rapist Daniel Hotlzclaw is supposed to be serving a 263-year sentence for his brutal crimes against Black women, no one outside the prison system is quite sure of his whereabouts right now. The crooked cop’s name has been completely erased from the national prison database, presumably for his own safety within prison walls . Via OKC Fox : Daniel Holtzclaw’s information was removed from the Department of Corrections’ online inmate locator for his safety and security. The DOC tells Fox 25 their primary responsibility is the safety and security of offenders and then the public’s safety. Communications Director Terri Watkins said this is not an uncommon practice, but assured Fox 25 Holtzclaw remains in custody. As a consequence of the removal, Hotlzclaw’s information was removed from the Victim’s Notification system, known as V.I.N.E., which is run by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office. The AG’s office told Fox 25 the information provided to victims of crime comes from the Department of Corrections. The DOC said Holtzclaw’s victims will be notified if he is released. However, Holtzclaw’s sentence would not allow for such a release. So…they won’t reveal where he is to the public, and the multitude of Black women he raped have no real assurance that he is indeed behind bars and unable to harm them further…but we should all take their word for it because he’s such a “special case.” SMH! Funny how he is being kept safe now, after spending years of his career making Black women feel unsafe in their own neighborhoods and homes… OK Dept. of Corrections

It aint no fun if your co-workers can’t have some… Female Corrections Officer Files Discrimination Lawsuit Against Co-Workers After Affair Goes Public A Riker’s Island prison officer who says she “suffered” physical and verbal abuse at the hands of her female co-workers after her affair with the married warden of the prison went public is now filing a lawsuit against them claiming that she wasn’t the only one gettin’ her freak on at work. via News One: A new discrimination lawsuit filed in the Bronx Supreme Court on Monday alleges that sex between officers and supervisors is “rampant” at the city’s jails on Riker’s Island and no one is doing anything to stop it, according to the New York Post . The officer filing the claim against the city’s Department of Corrections (DOC), Tomara Bryan (pictured), accuses her female supervisors of verbally and physically abusing her after discovering that she was having a consensual affair with married ex-warden Emmanuel Bailey. Bryan says that her bosses would discipline her harshly while letting the male guards, who were allegedly getting freaky on the job as well, off of the hook. Her relationship with Bailey reportedly soured after she pressed domestic abuse charges him. Bryan claims he punched her in the face, kicked her in the stomach and punched a hole through her wall at her Brooklyn apartment. Baily was arrested on harassment and assault charges. He eventually pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and received a conditional discharge, according to The Post. Baily has since retired. SMH. Is there not enough work to be done at Riker’s Island?? Do you think this woman should be suing her co-workers, or does ridicule and harassment come with the territory when you’re having an affair with a married co-worker? Image via Shutterstock

Once again, another story coming from the Sunshine State! An inmate in Lake County claims the food in prison is so bad that he considers it cruel and unusual punishment. Eric Harris, 34, filed a lawsuit against the state, claiming the amount of soy in prison meals is higher than the amount recommended by the FDA. Harris is serving life in prison for sexual battery on a child. He claims the soy-laden meals are causing gastrointestinal cramping and threatening the health of his thyroid and immune system. “Then don’t eat that,” said Taxpayer Loretta Yeager. “Can’t they have something else to eat, substitutes? They have other vegetables and other things. Don’t eat it.” Gretl Plessinger, a spokesperson for Florida’s Department of Corrections said inmates are given a meat mix of 50 percent poultry and 50 percent soy. She said they are also always given an alternative choice that includes sources of protein such as beans or peanut butter. “We use soy products because they are healthy number one, and they are less expensive than the alternative,” Plessinger added. Taxpayers in the state of Florida pay around $47 million to feed prisoners. Plessinger said if the Department of Corrections cut out all the soy it would easily double that cost. The Weston A. Price Foundation, a group that calls itself a leading voice on the dangers of soy, is offering some support to Harris. Foundation President Sally Fallon Morell said, “Even the most ardent supporters of soy admit that one should not eat more than 25g of soy protein per day, but the men in prisons are getting far more than that.” “We’re paying taxes for these people to house them so they can sleep and eat and probably get medical care too,” she said. “So no, I have no sympathy at all.” Florida prisons switched to the soy and meat mix in 2009 to cut costs. The state now spends around $1.70 a day to feed each prisoner. The prisoners eat around 2,700 calories a day. This guy is doing life in prison for sexually abusing a child….sorry no sympathy for you, homeboy!! Suck it up and eat that soy!! Source
