Months after the one-year anniversary of the creation of his I Promise School for at-risk children, James has now announced that he will be adding transitional housing for the families of students that are facing financial hardships, CNN reported. The company—which is known for the development of hand-crafted boutique hotels near colleges and universities throughout the country—will restore a residential building in the Highland Square community. The building—which is located minutes away from the I Promise School—is slated for completion by July 2020. James, who has utilized his platform to speak out on several social and political issues and has been a fierce advocate for the improvement of education, believes that the success of the students is dependent on having a solid foundation at home. “Initially, our work was focused on helping these kids earn an education. But we’ve found that it is impossible to help them learn if they are struggling to survive — if they are hungry, if they have no heat in the freezing winter, if they live in fear for their safety,” he told the news outlet. “We want this place to be their home where they feel safe, supported, and loved, knowing we are right there with them every step of the way as they get back on their feet.” Graduate Hotel CEO Ben Weprin is excited to team up with James and his foundation for this impactful project. “It’s humbling to see the change they are affecting on a daily basis and we’re honored to be a part of the journey,” he said. James has also been focused on fighting food insecurity. Kailyn Lowry Confirms: Farrah Abraham is Just The WORST!

This Just In: Farrah Abraham is a really awful person who thinks only of herself at all times. Okay, fine. Perhaps that isn’t exactly a piece of breaking news. But still: it’s worth repeating now because someone who has interacted with the former Teen Mom star has once again confirmede verything we’ve read and heard about Abraham. Appearing as a recent guest on the Domenick Nati Show, Kailyn was asked which Teen Mom cast member — present or past — rubs her the wrong way. Who does Lowry just hate the most, basically? “My least favorite cast member? I would say is Farrah,” she responded. This is not exactly stunning, of course. Last summer, Lowry scoffed at the notion of Farrah headlining an anti-bullying campaign, something Abraham had actually been tapped to do when she agreed to an exhibition boxing match. “I think there are much better influencers,” Kailyn said back then in a rather epic understatement. She later said she wanted to flat-out fight Abraham , although no match ever materialized between the pair. Asked what it is about Abraham that prompted Lowry to label her as the absolute worst, Kailyn said in this new interview: “Anytime I’ve been around Farrah she just doesn’t treat people like human beings. She treats them like they’re below her,” Lowry said, adding: “And that’s not really something… I don’t want to surround myself with people like that.” Hard to argue with that logic, isn’t it? Lowry’s pointed jabs at Farrah comes amid the news that another Teen Mom alum, Jenelle Evans, is divorcing her husband, David Eason. This is a hot topic that both Abraham and Lowry have weighed in on recently. “If she’s truly in the right mindset and is on a journey to find health and happiness, she could teach people a lot,” Lowry said on social media of Evans, expounding on her occasional rival as follows: “One could only hope that this is all true. “Despite our differences, her and her kids safety has always been a concern of mine, and now I’m not as worried hearing the latest news.” Sounds pretty fair and balanced of Kailyn, doesn’t it? Abraham, on the other hand, isn’t feeling nearly as generous when it comes to Evans and Eason. She seems to question Jenelle’s motives for the split, taking the cynical approach that Jenelle is only making this decision to further her career. “I just feel like it’s a way to just go back on TV, and I think more like myself and others, who just want better crews, better circumstances for her kids, beyond just going back to television,” Farrah told late last week. Concluded Farrah in her dissing of Jenelle: “I don’t know. Will things change when she gets a divorce just to go back on TV? “I’m just worried about her real intentions. Prince Harry Speaks Out on Private Jet Controversy: I Ain’t Flying Coach With Y’all Peasants

Last month, we reported on the widespread allegations of hypocrisy leveled against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The trouble started when the couple took a jaunt to the South of France to hang out at Elton John’s palatial estate for a few days, as one does. The problem wasn’t with the trip itself, but with the fact that Harry and Meghan traveled on a private jet . As you may know, Harry has been an outspoken environmental activist for much of his life. As one of the world’s leading spokesmen for the perils of climate change and the role that humans play in the growing crisis, boarding a private jet with his family was … not a great look for Harry. Elton immediately came to his guests’ defense, tweeting: “Prince Harry’s Mother , Diana Princess Of Wales was one of my dearest friends. I feel a profound sense of obligation to protect Harry and his family from the unnecessary press intrusion that contributed to Diana’s untimely death. “After a hectic year continuing their hard work and dedication to charity, David and I wanted the young family to have a private holiday inside the safety and tranquility of our home. “To maintain a high level of much-needed protection, we provided them with a private jet flight.” But as the weeks went by, Harry and Meghan remained silent, while Prince William and Kate Middleton made a point of flying commercial , thus scoring points on their rumored rivals. On Tuesday, Harry finally broke his silence during an event in Amsterdam, at which he explained his decision to temporarily throw carbon footprint concerns aside: “I came here by commercial. I spend 99 percent of my life traveling the world by commercial,” Harry told the audience. “Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure my family are safe and it’s genuinely as simple as that.” It’s important to note that 98% of terrorist attacks occur en route to Elton John’s private estate in the South of France. Obviously, we’re joking — taking the piss out of Harry, for you Brits. The explanation rings a tad bullsh-tty, but we’re sure Harry is usually responsible in his travel choices. “We can all do better and while no one is perfect, we all have a responsibility for our own individual impact,” he added. “The question is what we do to balance it out.” From there, Harry announced a new venture — Travalyst — in which he and Meg will partner with online firms to “transform the travel industry. You would think that a famous married athlete caught cheating would bend over backwards to confess to everything so that he can move forward. But Jim Edmonds swears that he never touched his alleged mistress, claiming that their affair was limited to sexting. Meghan King Edmonds is explaining why she believes this claim. Among other things … she says that the woman was just too darn ugly. Wow . “We’re still married, we’re still together, we’re not separated,” Meghan King Edmonds makes extremely clear to The Daily Mail  this week. “I know my engagement ring is well known!” she acknowledges. “I’m still wearing it. I’ve never stopped wearing it.” “We’re in the family home,” Meghan details. “We’re in the same bed.” “We’re not having therapy,” she notes. “We’re talking.” Some would suggest a little of both but hey, whatever works. Meghan then delves into why, despite her obvious distress over her husband’s scandal, the other woman’s character played a role in her reaction. “This woman is a con artist,” Meghan characterizes. “She’s gone after so many baseball players.” “She was out to get some money and she got it, then she was on to the next one,” she assessed. “It was a baiting kind of thing,” Meghan describes. “She would do that and move on. Believe me, I am still mad at him.” “But once I figured that out, what she was like,” she adds. “I was able to pull our family together. It actually made it more bearable.” Meghan and Jim are not a family unto themselves, of course. The famous couple shares a daughter, 2-year-old Aspen. They also have a pair of twin sons, Hayes and Hart, who are each 13 months old. Meghan is the first to admit that Jim’s scandal did not take place in a vacuum. She reveals that the children “picked up on the anxiety in the house.” “I’m an open book,” Meghan says. “And I think it is important to be open and honest with the whole family.” “But,” she adds, she only wanted to so so “on an age-appropriate level.” “With my daughter, when we would say our nightly prayers,” Meghan says, she would tentatively address the topic. According to Meghan: “I said to her, ‘We need to pray for Mommy and Daddy that we learn to love each other so, so much again.'” “‘Because we do love each other so, so much and we need to learn it again because we are so, so sad right now,'” Meghan recalls. That’s a hell of a lot of pressure to put on a two year old. As Meghan admits: “That was hard.” So why is she so confident that none of Jim’s cheating took place in person? “The second I saw her photo I saw she was disgusting,” Meghan describes of Jennifer McFelia Villegas. “I knew he would never touch her,” she says. “That helped me. Then I knew it was just a sexting thing.” “The pics she sent him were all highly filtered,” Meghan reveals. “And she had sunglasses on, body parts were altered.” “It was all very sex-related,” she notes. Luke Parker: Did Bachelorette Producers Allow Him to Emotionally Abuse Hannah Brown?

When Hannah Brown first laid eyes on Luke Parker during Monday night’s Bachelorette rose ceremony, her baffled response no doubt reflected the feelings of millions of confused viewers. “Why are you here?” Hannah asked, as she cringed and pulled away from Parker. Luke stammered out an explanation about “closure and clarity” while Brown strongly encouraged him to leave in a tone that vacillated between pleading and demanding. It was a scene familiar to any woman who’s been subjected to the unwanted advances of a strange man — as well as to any woman who’s been stuck in an abusive relationship with a partner who just won’t leave. If Hannah’s words didn’t send the message powerfully enough, then her body language certainly did. And her most important unspoken question was likely directed as much to the show’s producers as it was to Luke — namely, why is this being allowed to happen? After all, Luke had already been kicked off the show at that point. In fact, it was the second time that Parker was dismissed by Hannah and permitted to return. This is not typical — and these are not the rules of the game. Clearly, the show’s producers made the decision to allow Luke back on set, which indicates that they were more concerned with ratings than with Hannah’s safety and emotional well-being. (We’re sure there was security personnel on set, but abuse can take many forms, and we’re not just talking about Hannah’s physical safety.) Three suitors stood by as Luke confronted Hannah, and they’ve taken some flak online for waiting so long to intervene, but in all likelihood, they were restrained by orders from the same producers who allowed Luke back on set. Many viewers were made uncomfortable by the scene, and they made their opinions abundantly clear on social media: “Watching Luke P. has triggered my daughter’s PTSD,” one viewer wrote on Facebook. “His mind games and control issues are exactly the same as her ex-fiance who eventually abused her and put her in the hospital before she could get away from him. “We’ve been talking about him all season and how we hoped Hannah would see through him before she got hurt.” No doubt Luke’s behavior stirred up similar memories and emotions for many, many viewers. He apologized for some of his actions during last night’s Men Tell All interview, but in typical abuser fashion, he also justified many of his lies, manipulations, and acts of intimidation. And now, the question on the minds of many viewers is — to what extent are the show’s producers responsible for allowing all of this to go on for so long? It’s worth noting that a controversy of this nature could not come at a worse time for the series. Just last week, Bachelor franchise creator Mike Fleiss was accused of assaulting his pregnant wife . This comes on the heels of a previous controversy in which Fleiss feuded with Kelly Ripa and made what many believe to be misogynistic comments toward the daytime host. Police in Kuai, Hawaii and an independent ABC legal team are investigating the allegations made by Fleiss’ wife. Depending on the evidence they discover, Fleiss could be imprisoned, or simply fired from the show that made him famous. Of course, it’s also possible that he’ll remain a free man at the helm of one of the longest-running reality show’s on TV. Whatever the case, Bachelor Nation may soon find itself with a major image problem — and the powers that be would do well to address these issues sooner rather than later. Wladimir Klitschko: Hayden Panettiere’s Ex Infuriated By Claims She’s Being Abused

We’ve been following the sad saga of Hayden Panettiere for several months now, and unfortunately, the situation seems to get more frightening by the day. The Heroes and Nashville actress is in a relationship with a man named Brian Hickerson, and family and friends have begun to fear for her safety — and for good reason. Hickerson was arrested for domestic violence back in May following an incident that was initially shrouded in secrecy. Police later revealed that Panettiere was Hickerson’s alleged victim , and the altercation took place at the home the couple shares. Hickerson has pled not guilty and is currently free on bond. Obviously, that incident terrifying enough on its own. But it’s not the only indication that Brian is at best a bad influence on Hayden and at worst a real threat to her safety. Hickerson is also facing charges for assaulting his father, and police reports indicate that Hayden was on hand and witnessed the incident. Hickerson is allegedly a very heavy drinker, and insiders say this habit has rubbed off on Hayden in a big way. Back in February — shortly after her relationship with Hickerson began — a drunken Panettiere was photographed vomiting on a public sidewalk. Needless to say, the situation has left many concerned, not the least of whom is Wladimir Klitschko then Ukranian boxer who is father to Hayden’s 4-year-old daughter. “Wladimir hit the roof when this stuff came to light,” a source tells the outlet. “They may be miles apart and co-parenting a child together, but he won’t stand for anyone hurting the mother of his child.” Hickerson might be tempted to take comfort in the fact that Klitschko lives several thousand miles away, but that distance may not serve as a protective barrier for much longer. The insider tells Radar that Klitschko plans to pay a visit to the US “very soon,” and his primary reason for doing so is checking in on the mother of his child. Frankly, the 6’6″ heavyweight can’t make the trip soon enough. Recent court filings claim that Hickerson beat Panettiere two times in the span of three days . But despite the fact that Panettiere has an order of protection against Hickerson , she remains in a relationship with him. Her family has spoken out and urged her to break things off — but at this point, a visit from Klitschko to Hickerson might be the most powerful tool of persuasion available. Mark Harmon Himself Assaulted Pauley Perrette, Report Alleges

We have an update on the scathing allegations leveled last week by former NCIS star Pauley Perrette. And they do not look good for Mark Harmon. Far from it, in fact. First, a refresher on this unusual and potentially very sordid situation: Perrette left NCIS last year after 15 seasons as the beloved character of Abby Sciuto. At the time of her depature, the actress made the stunning accusation that she had been bullied and assaulted on the set of this CBS drama — although she never named the culprit. “I’ve been supporting ant-bullying programs forever. But now I KNOW because it was ME! If it’s school or work, that you’re required to go to?” she Tweeted in May of last year, adding shortly after her final episode aired: “It’s horrifying. I left. Multiple Physical Assaults. I REALLY get it now. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety. Tell someone.” Wow, right? Elsewhere at the time, Perrette made mentions of “doing the right thing” because she was trying to “protect crew members” and it was all very odd and mysterious. Fast forward about a year and Perrette recently responded to talk of whether she would ever return to NCIS. No way, NEVER EVER EVER, she Tweeted , explaining why in a bit more detail. “I am terrified of [Mark Harmon] and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it,” she wrote a few days ago. Perrette went on to reassert her claim of assault, yet did not state that Harmon was the person who assaulted her. According to TMZ, however, the NCIS lead was , indeed, the alleged assailant. As previously reported/speculated, Harmon brought a rescue dog to the NCIS set in 2016 — and it bit a crew member, prompting him to get 16 stitches. Perrette, sources say, was aghast at this development, making it clear how she thought the dog should absolutely not be allowed anywhere near the cast or crew again. Executives eventually compromised with all involved and said Harmon would need to keep the canine on a leash unless it was in his trailer. But the actor was bitter about Perrette’s role in forcing this decision to be made, only bringing the dog out in her presence, TMZ writes, stirring up all kinds of tension between himself and the actress. Writers tried hard to limit scenes between Perrette and Harmon in the aftermath. Then, one day in 2017, Harmon reportedly body-checked Perrette in “what she perceived as payback,” TMZ reports , adding word for word: “We’re told Pauley felt it was an attempt to intimidate her after the dog fiasco.” Perrette has never confirmed this version of events, but her Tweets both last year and this year do seem to back up the part about the crew member being bitten by the dog. “You think I didn’t expect blow back? You got me wrong,” she wrote last week in a since-deleted message, adding: “THIS happened To my crew member and I fought like hell to keep it from happening again! To protect my crew! And then I was physically assaulted for saying NO!? and I lost my job.” This latter part insiders insist is not true. They say Perrette left the show on her own accord. She might counter, of course, that she had no real choice after what transpired with Harmon. As for the network reaction to Perrette’s allegations and social media messages? “Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern,” the network said in a statement to Variety in the spring of 2018. “We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows.” The actress, at least in public, accepted this statement at the time. “I want to thank my studio and network CBS. They have always been so good to me and always had my back,” she Tweeted after the message above was released. We’ll have more on this troubling story as news breaks. To date, Harmon has not said anything about Perrette departing NCIS or the way in which she has accused him of acting toward her.

Woah: 9-Year Old Boy Charged With Murder After Shooting His Mother With A Rifle

Source: Catherine Lamothe-Sauvé / EyeEm / Getty 9-Year Old Charged For The Murder Of His Mother A Michigan mom is dead and her 9-year old son has been charged with murder after police say he shot his mother with a rifle. According to court documents , Pauline Randol was fatally shot by her son at their Fawn River Township home on Monday morning and family found her dead in the living room hours later. The Randol family says Pauline adopted the boy two years before and had expressed concern for his mental health and the safety of others. Fawn River residents told reporters that they heard screaming coming from the home minutes before deputies arrived at the scene. The boy’s sister, Harley Martin, told WOOD-TV: “[Pauline] had told her doctor one time she was so scared she was raising the next serial killer. [But] I want people to know that he’s not a bad kid. He loved his mom. I don’t want people to think he did not love his mom. He doesn’t know what he did. He doesn’t understand what’s going on right now at all. He doesn’t understand why he can’t come home or anything.” The boy has also been charged with using a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is now undergoing psychiatric treatment, but no word on whether or not he’ll be charged as an adult or juvenile.
