Yikes: Everyone Involved In The Kevin Hart Car Crash Is Lawyering Up For Imminent Lawsuit

Source: Newspix / Getty Kevin Hart And His Passengers Are All Getting Lawyered Up It looks like Kevin Hart and the two people in his car that crashed on September 1 have all gotten themselves lawyers as everyone involved is expecting a big lawsuit. According to reports from TMZ , sources with direct knowledge say the driver–who sustained serious back and chest injuries–has an attorney, as does the passenger in the backseat, who sustained only a few minor injuries. Kevin Hart, of course, has a lawyer as well. Kevin is expected to be in the crosshairs of the other two people inside the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda at the time of the crash because the car was not equipped with any sort of safety harnesses or airbags. The argument here is that Hart should have worried less about keeping the car authentic and more about the actual safety of the vehicle, and not doing so constitutes negligence, on his part. The once driving the car could also be on the hook for both Kev and the backseat passenger, but that presumption is a little premature since the CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash. TMZ also reports that the company that customized the car for Kevin could also be looking at a lawsuit, for those same issues mentioned about safety above. The company is supposed to be the expert on cars, and even if Kevin wanted a custom job without safety harnesses, they should have refused anything that wasn’t safe for those involved, especially with a 720 horsepower engine. Law enforcement sources told the publication that CHP may lobby the California State Legislature to prohibit custom car companies from rolling out products without harnesses, regardless of whether the customer wants them or not.

Over the weekend, a McDonald’s employee put hands on a costumer while vacationing with his wife in New Orleans. WWLTV is reporting that the altercation took place after the customer (who wants to remain anonymous) complained about his food order. After being given cold french fries, the customer tried to give them back for a hot and fresh batch, but admits that he was sort of a jackass about it and the employees noticed. The customer admitted he had an attitude when he told the workers he wasn’t happy, but can’t explain the violence. “If I could make sense of it I’d tell you, but I don’t have a clue,” he said. “The customer is always right, even if he’s wrong.” Eyewitness News went to that McDonald’s and found the employee still working there as of Tuesday. We asked the employee for his side, but he didn’t want to talk until he spoke with his employer first. “I’d like to see that guy in jail,” the customer said. The franchise owner provided a written statement to WWL-TV that said “the behavior seen in this video is not what I expect from my employees, we are conducting a thorough investigation of this incident.”  NOPD is investigating, but at this time, no charges have been filed. In the video that’s spreading through social media as we speak, we see said customer getting choked up and rocked in the face before walking away. We get the whole “the customer is always right” logic but if this customer wanted to have it his way, he should’ve went to Burger King. This fool went and got bold at a restaurant where the slogan was once “You deserve a break today.” He got broken off alright…

State rep. Erica Thomas who represents District 39, recorded an emotional Facebook Live video detailing an incident at a GA Publix where a white man called her “lazy” and a “son a b***” in front of her child and told her to “go back where she came from.” (Sound familiar? ) “This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of [expletive]. You need to go back where you came from,’” said Thomas who noted that he was angry because she was in the Express lane at the grocery store but had 15 items in her cart. “Sir, you don’t even know me. I’m not lazy. But the people in the store, you know we have witnesses that are willing to be a witness in court.”   We stand with Erica, it’s not hard to believe that an enraged Incel would mirror Cretin In Chief’s “go back” statements. Looks like Publix is gonna need a clean up on aisle 3, soon.

Diminutive Bagel Shop Patron Goes on Tirade Against Women

It's time to move over, Florida Man . You must now officially make room for Long Island Man. Or, to be more precise we suppose, you must make room for Short Long Island Man, based on a hilarious/disturbing new video that has gone very viral in a very short period of time. In a video posted to Twitter this week, a woman is heard at the Bagel Boss shop in Bay Shore, New York, asking a middle-aged man wearing running shoes, shorts and a striped polo shirt why he thinks it's acceptable to “degrade women.” We don't know the circumstances that prompted this question… only that it led to an epic tirade in response. “Degrade – why is it okay for women to say, 'Oh you’re five feet on dating sites, you should be dead,'” the man fires back as he hurls a newspaper he was holding to the floor. “That's okay?” Wait, what, the woman responds? No one at the store said anything like that. “Women in general have said it on dating sites. You think I'm making that sh-t up,” the patron screams back while throwing his arms in the air. “Everywhere I go I get the same f-cking smirk with the biting lip.” This is actually pretty sad. The poor guy clearly has understandable self-esteem issues… which is not an excuse for the way he acted here. But it's still something everyone viewing the footage ought to consider. Another customer then interjects, telling the man to “calm down.” But this has the opposite effect. “Shut your mouth. You're not God or my father or my boss,” he yells. When another customer also tells the man to chill out, his anger only reaches a new level. “Dude you want to step outside? You want to step outside? Huh? I'm not scare of you, pal.” The third time, however, is NOT the charm for this guy. After telling yet another patron to also “shut up” and challenging him to a fight, the bitter dating site user gets tackled to the grond. Hard. As you might expect, and mostly understand, the Internet is having a field day with this video. To wit: But we sort of have two different reactions: FIRST, imagine if this were an overweight woman, responding in sadness and anger over how she is looked at by men. We somehow doubt folks would be mocking her in the same way. SECOND, couldn't you see this guy going on some sort of shooting spree in the near future? Based on the domestic violence history of nearly all mass shooters, toxic masculinity is to blame for this epidemic as much as any other societal issue. The guy already felt snubbed by the opposite sex. Now, he probably feels like the laughing stock of pretty much everyone out there. It's scary to consider. McDonald’s customers can be a very picky bunch. Based on a handful of stories we’ve heard over the years, these patrons are not always loving it when it comes to their service. Remember that Florida Man who attacked an employee over the store’s new straw policy ? Or the folks who actually filed a lawsuit because they were forced to pay for cheese on their burger ? With the fast food pun fully intended, there have been quite a few whoppers relayed over the Internet is just the past several months alone. But the one down below may take the hot cake… Simply put, a woman was arrested last Friday after going behind the counter at a McDonald’s restaurant in Norwich, Connecticut and slapping a manager in the face because the customer’s order “was made wrong.” Did we mention this manager was pregnant at the time of the attack? Because she was most definitely pregnant. According to The Smoking Gun, police charged 21-year-old Shannelle Hanson with breach of peace and third-degree assault, taking her into custody after she overreacted to the aforementioned mistaken order. Investigators say that Hanson purchased a McChicken Sandwich around 8:20 p.m. at the drive-thru window two miles from her home… … but she wasn’t satisfied with what she received. She allegedly got out of her car and walked into the restaurant, declaring that “her food was made wrong,” based on a customer who spoke with the cops. Hanson subequently “requested a refund” and “then went behind the counter,” according to a Norwich Police Department arrest report. The McDonald’s manager, whose name was not released and who is 29 weeks pregnant, told the police that she was “slapped in the face and pushed by Hanson.” A male employee said that when he attempted to separate Hanson and his manager, who was situated near the french fry station, Hanson “slapped him in the face and pushed him.” This happened after she was given a full refund, too. In a written statement, the manager said that Hanson was made aware she was pregnant and responded to this information by telling those around her “she had bail money and didn’t care I was pregnant. She hoped I lost my child.” YIKES. After being taken into custody, Hanson told police she was upset that “there was nothing on” her McChicken Sandwich, which typically comes with shredded lettuce and mayonnaise. Hanson admitted to cops that she tossed money in the manager’s face, but claims the pregnant victim “stepped to me and we were face to face.” The manager, Hanson alleges, asked, “What are you going to do?” Hanson added: “I do not know who threw the first punch.” Charged with breach of peace and assaulting a pregnant woman (both misdemeanors), Hanson was released from custody on a $5,000 bond and is due in court on June 13.

Florida Woman Kicked Off Flight After Raging at Toddler, Kicking, Hitting & Spitting on Workers

Another Monday another crazed Florida woman . Valerie Gonzalez’s trip to Las Vegas was cut short after she reportedly got violent on a plane and was carried off the flight.  The 32-year-old woman boarded JetBlue’s flight 7 at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Wednesday night and allegedly got upset when she found out she was seated next to a child.  “I’m not sitting next to a (expletive) three-year-old, I’ve been drinking all day,” she said according to CBSMiami.  She then decided to move seats but had another problem with the people sitting in front of her and continued to shout and cuss at the passengers.  The flight crew immediately ordered her to get off of the plane and called security.  And like similar Florida stories …things got real weird.  She continued swearing at the officers, “(expletive) you…I’m getting off the plane. Don’t touch my (expletive). I’ll get off the plane,” according to outstanding cell phone footage.  And when she finally exited, she gave it one last shot.  “Oh because I called someone old I get kicked off the (expletive) plane. Bye. Bye, enjoy your self in Vegas babies. Vegas baby, Vegas. I’ll be there in an hour.”  She then tried to get back on the plane and when a gate agent blocked her path she hit her, according to the police report.  A passenger on the plane also reported that Gonzalez hit her on the arm when refusing to switch seats.  …Someone really doesn’t like Valentine’s Day.  Her behavior was so severe that the officers had to cuff both her hands AND her feet.  The officer noted in the report that they used the restraints to prevent her from kicking people. She was put in a wheelchair and rolled out of the terminal.   They also reportedly had to get a spit mask, because she was spitting so much.   Concerning the incident, JetBlue issued the following statement:  On Thursday, February 14 – during the boarding of flight 7 from Fort Lauderdale to Las Vegas – crewmembers reported a disruptive customer onboard. Local law enforcement was called and the customer was removed from the flight. Additional details should be directed to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Gonzalez remained calm (and sober) in court Friday morning while the judge set her bond for $1,000.  She was charged with battery and has since been released. If this guy was looking for a way to die he was definitely barking up the right tree. According to a KWCH report, a former rising fashion model named Riff Trace was arrested for possession of meth just days after he was arrested and charged with “battery that was bias and racially motivated” after kicking a Black 1-year-old boy in the back violently during a racist rant at a local grocery store. How Riff is still drawing breath and walking the earth after putting his dirty alabaster feet onto a Black infant while calling him n-words is inexplicable, but we digress. The boy’s mother, Lashantai Whitaker, explains what happened: “We were barely in the store and (Trace) kicked him in his back,” Whitaker says. “All I heard was a loud thud and my daughter screaming.” She says Trace tried to get away but another customer tackled him. She says when Trace kicked her son, he came up behind them. She described it like “a sneak attack.” She went on to say: “What grown person, I mean, even if you do have that much hate for someone,… I mean, why would you attack a baby?” Whitaker says. Journalist Briana Whitney shared the exclusive story via Twitter . After being in a vegetative state for over 14 years, a patient shockingly gave birth on Saturday. An employee says the woman was moaning and that alarmed nurses. She then gave birth to a baby girl. The staff was reportedly not aware that she was pregnant until that moment she gave birth. The baby is alive and healthy. After hearing the allegations, Arizona Adult Protective Service performed health and safety checks on all residents in the facility. Protocols have changed to female residents being paired with female nurses early. The investigation into the unnamed woman’s rape is still being investigated. Press play to hear the full report.
