Email Submit “That hospital killed our son then my husband thats what happened!” Mia tweeted and deleted Monday morning. “They killed my family.” In 2015, Kristoff and Mia sued La Casa Mental Health hospital in Long Beach, California where their son died, claiming he didn’t receive enough care and caretakers gave him access to the plastic bag he used to suffocate himself.   SEE ALSO:  ‘Young & Restless’ Star Kristoff St. John Hospitalized For His Own Safety Mia didn’t say whether or not Kristoff died from a direct connection to the hospital or if she mean’t her son’s death led to her ex’s demise, but LAPD confirmed that authorities were called to his home to respond to a possible alcohol overdose, according to eurweb.com . Kristoff’s official cause of death is pending an autopsy. “Coming Out” On Top: Former Elmo Puppeteer Kevin Clash Brings Home 3 Daytime Emmy’s Despite Being Sesame Street’s “Black Sheep”

Former Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash is still receiving major accolades for his work on “Sesame Street” despite facing a string of accusations from young men who say he took advantage of them sexually. Via Fox News reports : Kevin Clash, the Elmo puppeteer who resigned amid allegations that he sexually abused underage boys, won three Daytime Emmy Awards for his work on “Sesame Street.” Clash won as outstanding performer in a children’s series at the creative arts ceremony held Friday night. He shared trophies for outstanding pre-school children’s series and directing in a children’s series, giving Clash 26 Daytime Emmys for his work on the venerable PBS show. He played Elmo for 28 years before quitting last November. Clash’s lawyer has said that related lawsuits filed against the entertainer are without merit. The main Daytime Emmys ceremony is Sunday in Beverly Hills. Congrats Kevin! You might not have a job but at least you get to go out on top! WENN

Long live Ms. Chancellor…. Young & The Restless Actress Jeanne Cooper Passes Away One of the longest-running soap operas in the history of daytime television has lost one of it’s most notable cast members. via TMZ Jeanne Cooper, a huge soap opera star who played Katherine Chancellor on “The Young and the Restless” for decades, has died. She was 84. “L.A. Law” star Corbin Bernsen — Cooper’s real-life son — tweeted this morning that she had passed away. She had fallen ill with an infection earlier this year after helping promote “Y&R’s” 40th anniversary. Cooper joined the show soon after its 1973 debut and had been nominated for 10 Daytime Emmys going back to ’89 … she finally won for lead actress in 2008. May she rest in peace. Daytime Emmys Somehow Forget to Nominate James Franco

The Daytime Emmys were announced today and General Hospital led the pack of mostly expected nominees with a massive 18 nominations. Conspicuously absent from the list, though, was the man who brought that soap opera high ratings, media attention, and deliciously meta plotlines: the one, the only James Franco. How can this be? Did voters somehow miss his Tommy Wiseau-evoking Emmy clip ? We’ve got it for you (and for you, James, in tribute!), as well as a list of the important nominees.
