Karla Vanessa Perez: Pregnant With NINE Kids!

Karla Vanessa Perez, a Mexican woman already nicknamed NuevaMom by TMZ and other celebrity gossip sites, is reportedly pregnant with nine kids! NINE! That puts Octomom to shame! Or at least beats her by one embryo. Perez is a month away from giving birth to six girls and three boys . Like Nadya Suleman, fertility treatments led to her record-breaking multiple pregnancy. This is not Perez. It’s Octomom photoshopped in front of a Mexican flag . Perez confirmed the news to Mexico’s Notimex news agency, saying, “It’s very early to think of names for the babies … first I hope that everything goes well.” We hope so too … during the pregnancy and afterward. In Octomom’s case, it has not, judging by the fact that she’s now on welfare and may lose her kids . No word yet if NuevaMom is also unmarried, with six offspring already, financially insolvent to the point where her kids have to poop outside, and/or insane.

Selena Gomez Debuts Sexy Fragrance Ad

Selena Gomez. In many ways, she’s just like your regular 19-year old, horsing around with pals during the weekend, baking cupcakes, having a blast. In other ways, well, she’s a tad bit different. And not just because a kiss with her boyfriend at the Lakers game becomes national news the following day. Also because she’s about to launch her very first perfume, simply titled “Selena Gomez,” and she stars in the first promotional ad for it. The first mature, sexy promotional ad for it, we should say. See for yourself: The perfume will be available exclusively at Macy’s next month, retailing in different sizes for $35, $45 and $55. Think you’ll pick up a bottle?

Rebecca Zahau Death Ruled a Suicide

With the conclusion that Rebecca Zahau died in a suicide, police say the mystery of two deaths tied to millionaire Jonah Shacknai’s mansion has been solved. A San Diego woman, Zahau, was found hanged at the mansion of Shacknai, her boyfriend. His son, Max, died from injuries suffered from an accidental fall. “These deaths were not the result of any criminal acts,” San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said at a press conference, as reported today by People . The police findings effectively close the investigation into the unusual, very highly publicized deaths of pharmaceutical CEO Shacknai’s girlfriend and son. The family of Zahau (a.k.a. Rebecca Nalepa ) is not satisfied, however. “We her family and friends do not believe it’s a suicide. There are still unanswered questions,” says Mary Zahau-Loehner. “It is very suspicious .” “We would like the police to look further into her case, to do whatever it takes. We want justice and are here to represent our sister and daughter.” Zahau was found naked, hanging by a makeshift noose outside Jonah Shacknai ‘s mansion in Coronado, Calif., on July 13, her hands and feet bound. Her body was found just hours after she accessed her voice mail, on which was a message about Shacknai’s 6-year-old son, who was in the hospital. She also painted a message in black shortly before she died. The paint was still found on her hands. Authorities refused to reveal what was written. “She made the decision to take her own life,” said San Diego County Sgt. Dave Nemeth, adding that she bound and hanged herself unassisted. This was supported, he said, by DNA evidence on the rope as well as an experiment in which officials found it was possible for a person to do this. As for the boy, the investigation concluded that Max had tripped and tumbled over a balcony and grabbed a chandelier as he fell, authorities said. Shacknai, CEO of Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp., was never a suspect and called the deaths “tragedies … that one couldn’t imagine experiencing.”

Bethenny Frankel on Suicide of Russell Armstrong: Don’t Blame Bravo!

Bethenny Frankel may soon be leaving Bravo , but she’s still quick to defend the network. Asked about the suicide of Russell Armstrong and whether The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills could be blamed for the tragedy, this reality star scoffed at the mere mention of such liability. “It’s preposterous to blame a TV show for someone’s suicide,” Bethenny told USA Today . “When the show started filming, I’d heard he wasn’t so kind to his wife.” Whatever problems Russell had, and whatever exposure they’d be given on the Real Housewives, Frankel says the troubled man knew what was in store for him before a single frame was shot: “People sign very lengthy documents and they know what they’re getting into. Life is stressful. It’s unfair to blame a TV show for something personal. I believe that I really do.” In one of his final interviews, Armstrong railed against the show that made him famous, citing its editing process and how he’s nothing like the person viewers saw each week. Bravo will premiere season two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Monday night.
