Chris Brown and Drake went at it last night at the ESPYs … but only in jest in a skit that mocked their previous rivalry and the former’s violent past. The two dudes who once wanted to kill each other pretty much killed it, too. After a long setup to establish the Chris Brown-Drake beef, and stir up a faux Blake-Drake rivalry, the rapper and 2014 ESPYs host ends up on an operating table. With “Dr. Blake Griffin” ready to operate, Drake is already a little uneasy … and then Brown pops up with surgical tools in hand, ready to go to work. “YOLO motherf–ker,” he menacingly says as Griffin puts him under: Drake-Chris Brown ESPY Skit Afterward, Griffin and Brown were live on stage, faux announcing that Drake was done for the night … and Chris introduced himself as “America’s Sweetheart.” The L.A. crowd loved it, and rightfully so (especially the Cheetos joke), even though Chris mocking his violent tendencies is always a high-risk move. Especially when he has an assault trial pending, but hey. At least there were no Rihanna references made by either of her former lovers and Chris Brown and Drake are apparently best of friends these days. Net positive, people. Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada made an unexpected announcement on The Colbert Report: A new Captain America is coming to town. A very new Captain America, that is. Sam Wilson, Captain America’s veteran partner The Falcon, will be replacing Steve Rogers this fall in the comic book series. Wilson will officially take over the shield in “All-New Captain America #1,” which will be penned by Rick Remender and Stuart Immonen. Colbert asked Quesada about the fact that Wilson black, to which the CCO replied. “I don’t see colors.” The host, naturally, then shot back: “If you don’t see colors, how do you do comic books?” Wilson was created by Stan Lee and Gene Colan and first appeared in 1969’s Captain America #117. At the time, he was the only African-American superhero in mainstream comics. Fast forward many decades and the character debuted on the big screen earlier this year in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. “I’ve been having a lot of fun writing Sam,” Remender told a Marvel.com. “It’s a completely different attitude. The fact that he’s not a soldier shifts things up a bit. Sam’s not going to be Steve. Steve can be very rigid. On A&E’s Duck Dynasty Season 6 Episode 6, Jase and company “debugged” the family duck blinds, while CEO Willie tried to teach the kids about business. Because it always beats working, Jase took some of the guys from Duck Commander on a search for crawfish … inside the duck blinds on the family land. Duck Dynasty Clip – Car Wash Jase loves crawfish almost as much as he loves frogs, so he’s willing to go to great lengths to acquire them, despite what you might call occupational hazards. John Godwin went into a blind and encountered a gator – one that was “Godzilla big, like a bull,” he said – but which Willie removed with his bare hands. Godwin exaggerations aside, it was thus time to debug the blinds, or in layman’s terms, clean them the heck out so there are no critters living in there. Being a duck hunter, Jase explains is not what the public makes it out to be or what you would simply assume if you watch Duck Dynasty online . It’s serious effort, with a lot of preparation, tedious tasks and Jase’s equivalent of paperwork – cleaning out the blinds. Still beats actual paperwork, Jase. Facebook has allowed the “Kill Kendall Jones” community page to stay up, ruling upon review that it does not violate the social network’s community standards. This despite the fact that several of the now-infamous Kendall Jones hunting photos were taken down for violating the company’s policies regarding animal abuse. The 19-year-old cheerleader from Texas, an avid hunter, sparked plenty of outrage and admiration by posing with her trophy kills (see gallery below) last week. Facebook nixed a series of photos that showed her posing with a variety of animals, including a leopard and a lion, that she had shot on safari in Zimbabwe. The pictures were said to break a rule about “graphic images shared for sadistic effect or to celebrate or glorify violence,” as outlined by the company. Many Facebook users want to Kill Kendall Jones, however, and her father is livid that such content is allowed to stay up while her pictures are not. Cody Jones says he contacted Facebook, demanding they take down the “Kill Kendall Jones” page and its many posts and pics urging his daughter’s murder. He says Facebook shut him down , reviewing the page and determining that it didn’t violate standards, despite it being a takeoff of Kendall’s own postings. In fact, some of the exact photos she shared are still up in doctored form. The Kill Kendall page turns the tables on Jones, with the animals standing over a dead hunter (usually her). Somewhere, Joanna Krupa is smiling at this. Facebook says, “We remove content and may escalate to law enforcement when we perceive a genuine risk of physical harm, or a direct threat to public safety.” Apparently, they feel a page called Kill Kendall Jones doesn’t qualify. Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments drew the ire of many last year, but son Willie Robertson is quick to defend his father. Willie and his wife, Korie, sat down with CNN last week to talk about the controversial statements Phil Robertson made to GQ about modern immorality. Willie and Korie Robertson CNN Interview The 67-year-old Duck Commander founder had pondered in the magazine’s January issue how “a man’s anus” could be more desirable than a vagina. He also likened gay sex to a sin comparable to bestiality and paraphrased 1 Corinthians, which lists those who will not inherit the kingdom of God. “I believe what the Bible says,” Willie Robertson said. “That’s what he says to put those in. Now, you have to read the Bible and make up your own mind.” “You have to decide and God will ultimately decide that.” “We don’t profess to be God and we certainly don’t profess to be perfect,” he went on, “because we have our own sins we deal with.” Willie was quick to add that his father may be crude, coarse and outspoken, but that doesn’t mean he meant any disrespect or to encourage hate. “Anybody who knows him – any gay, straight, black, white – anybody who knows Phil knows that [his message] is about love,” Willie’s wife Korie added. “God’s love, and God’s grace, and God’s forgiveness, ultimately.” Aside from A&E, Willie and Korie Robertson are currently featured in the Christian indie film “God’s Not Dead.” In a behind-the-scenes interview, he says: “I think we should use any type of media we can to get the message of the Lord out,” adding that their A&E show helps them “get Christ out there.” The fifth season of the show ( watch Duck Dynasty online via TV Fanatic) just wrapped, and ratings have definitely slipped, but the family is not worried. “We are able to use that platform, and if it ended right there, it ended right there,” Willie said . “I felt like that was pretty much what God prepared us to do.” Duck Dynasty Stars Without Beards!
