Comedian Tracy Morgan has fired back after his sister Asia told the NY Daily News that he was mistreating their mother. Morgan, who recently made news for collapsing at the Sundance Film festival, refuses to give his mother money to save her house from foreclosure. In an exclusive statement to ABCNews Morgan said that his sister’s comments are unfounded because they barely speak. “I am saddened that these untrue stories about me have people questioning my commitment to my family,” he said in a statement to ABCNews.com. “For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my mother in 11 years and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister.” Morgan’s mother Alicia Warden claims that Morgan made an offer of $2000 through his assistant, but she refused the money. She owes five times that amount. After a health related scare, actor/comedian Tracy Morgan was seen boarding a plane in Utah carrying an oxygen tank. As we previously reported, the star collapsed after accepting an award at the Sundance Film Festival and was rushed to the hospital. Utah’s Natural High While there was speculation that Morgan was intoxicated, his reps said the altitude became an issue for Morgan, who also suffers from diabetes. One of the three highest states in America, the mean elevation of the state of Utah is 6,100 feet above sea level. “Superman ran into a little Kryptonite today,” he told TMZ. The co-director of Tracy Morgan’s new film Predisposed told Entertainment Weekly that the comedian is doing much better after collapsing at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Filmmaker Ron Nyswaner told EW that the “30 Rock” star passed out due to altitude sickness combined with his diabetes. Morgan is expected to check out of a Utah hospital shortly. Method Man has recently been on the promotional trail for his new film, The Sitter . While doing interviews, he’s been asked about new music. Meth says his upcoming fifth album will be his last. Johnny Blaze took to the Wu-Tang Clan’s Facebook page to make the official announcement. The message simply read: “Method Man is officially working on his last album produced by the RZA.” This will be the first time RZA has produced a Method Man album in its entirety since his 1994 solo debut, Tical . Method Man and RZA have both grown since 1994, so we can’t wait to see what comes of their collaborative efforts.
