Ryan Edwards to Tinder Match: You Wanna Do Some Coke?

Sigh. Well, folks, the “maybe Ryan Edwards isn't such a terrible guy, after all” narrative was fun while it lasted. As you probably know, Ryan got out of rehab last month after completing a 90-day course of treatment. Those closest to the troubled Teen Mom OG star claimed he'd changed his ways, but it looks as though he's already fallen back into his old habits. Earlier this week, we learned that Ryan is once again using Tinder to try and cheat on Mackenzie Standifer . And according to new screenshots obtained by Radar Online, he's off the wagon and looking to get high with some of his hookup partners. Here's what we know about this sad situation so far:   1. A Familiar Pattern This isn’t the first time that Ryan checked into rehab, emerged triumphant, and immediately went back to his old ways. 2. Ryan’s Hope Family and friends had hoped this time would be different. It was the longest Edwards had ever remained in treatment, and his wife recently gave birth to a baby boy. 3. Squandered Potential They hoped sobriety would make Ryan a better husband and father and keep him out of trouble with the law. 4. No Magic Bullet Sadly, rehab doesn’t always result in sobriety, and sobriety doesn’t always make former addicts more trustworthy or responsible. 5. A Troubled Man Obviously, Ryan’s heroin addiction and the legal problems that resulted from it are the biggest obstacles in his life — but he has a lot of other demons to conquer, as well. 6. Lyin’ Ryan Though they’ve been married less than two years, Ryan has been caught cheating on Mackenzie on numerous occasions. View Slideshow

Ryan Edwards: Out of Rehab and Loving Life! (According to Mackenzie Standifer)

It's been about a week since Ryan Edwards got out of rehab , and the former Teen Mom OG star has been keeping a low profile during that time. That's a very good thing, as the last time he checked out of a treatment facility, Edwards immediately started bashing Maci Bookout on Instagram. This time around, he's keeping his nose clean, focusing on his sobriety, and spending time with his newborn son. But that doesn't mean we're totally in the dark about how Ryan is doing these days. Both Maci and Ryan's wife, Mackenzie Standifer, have offered updates recently, and so far, fans like what they're seeing. Take a look: 1. Triumphant Ryan We don’t want to jinx him, but it looks like Ryan may have finally turned things around. 2. Sticking It Out Despite initial reports that he left rehab early again, Ryan reportedly lasted for the entire 90-day course of treatment. 3. Moves Like Jagger Ryan even missed the birth of his second son, Jagger, in order to complete treatment. 4. The Return But now that he’s back, it seems Ryan is making up for lost time. 5. Q&A Mackenzie recently took to Instagram to answer fans’ questions about what life’s been like since welcoming Jagger into the world. 6. Point-Blank The question that got the most attention, of course, had to do with Mackenzie’s relationship with Ryan. View Slideshow

L.B. Bonner Autopsy Confirms Cause of Reality Star’s Death

We have an official follow-up on the tragic death of L.B. Bonner. As previously detailed to the best of our ability, the former 600-lb Life star was found dead last week in park in Lexington, South Carolina. Initial reports, however, made it unclear just how Bonner passed away, although all signs pointed to suicide and certain outlets said Bonner’s was discovered in a ditch. Thanks to the official coroner’s report, we can now confirm this very sad piece of news: L.B. Bonner died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head . It does still remain unclear, however, just what prompted someone inside Bonner’s home to call 911 because he or she was concerned about the former TLC star’s well-being. This is what led to an officer arriving on the scene and eventually finding Bonner’s corpse. Such a detail is unimportant at this point; there are just so many questions to ponder any time someone commits suicide. Prior to his death, Bonner shared a Facebook message in which he thanked everyone for their support and said he needed to “face his demons.” “I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shown me love and support throughout my journey,” he wrote in this post, adding: “I’ve realized a few things over the last few days and its time that I face my demons head on.” He added, in what effectively served as a suicide note: No matter what you change or the efforts you put forth in life, sometimes you just have to take it on the chin and deal with things your own way. Again, thank y’all so much. Please don’t ever let people you care about not know how you feel… This post served as quite a troubling change from Bonner’s usual presence on Facebook. As evidenced by a message he penned mere days before he killed himself, Bonner often started each morning with an inspiring set of words. In 2013, Bonner lost his leg in a car crash and later turned to food and alcohol to cope with the loss. He weighed 650 pounds at the time he started filming My 600-lb Life. Over the course of his stint on the series, though, the 30-year-old got sober and underwent a lap-band surgery, which led to him losing over 400 pounds. He was considered by viewers and producers to be one of the program’s most impressive success stories. But it was clear, to anyone that paid close attention, that Bonner often struggled with his mental health. In June, he shared a photo of the late Robin Williams (who committed suicide) on Instagram with the saying: “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be Kind. ALWAYS.” Wrote Bonner as his caption: “This is so true, step out your comfort zone to be kind.” In the wake of his passing, TLC released a statement that read: James “LB” Bonner, who appeared on this past season of My 600-lb Life, has sadly passed away. On the show, viewers saw LB struggle with obesity following a tragic accident that claimed his right leg. Even though he once weighed 650 pounds, LB’s hard work and dedication helped get him in the 200-pound range. His spirit and determination as displayed through his story, quickly made LB a fan-favorite, and family & friends have taken to LB’s Facebook page to commemorate his life. TLC was deeply saddened to hear of LB’s passing and is honored to have shared his honest and courageous story on My 600-lb Life. Ryan Edwards Opens Up About Latest Arrest: I Messed Up! Again!

Last month,  Ryan Edwards was arrested  for the third time in less than 18 months. This time around, local authorities were understandably less confident in Ryan's ability to keep from messing up again, so they held him in police custody for a week. These days, however, he's a free man — for the time being. Ryan is due back in court on August 23, and if he's convicted for his latest probation violation, he could face up to a year in prison. So it's a bit surprising that the usually press-shy Ryan has decided to speak to the media about his legal troubles. His lawyers probably weren't crazy about the decision, but if we've learned anything about Ryan over these past two years, it's that the man is not big on following rules: 1. Hard Times On July 23, Ryan was taken into police custody after being pulled over for speeding. As this was a violation of his probation, he was held without bail. 2. An Unexpected Release While it was expected that he would be held until his court date, Ryan was released from jail in the wee hours of August 2. 3. A Slap on the Wrist To the surprise of many — including, probably, himself — Ryan received a suspended sentence and six months of additional probation for failing a court-ordered drug test earlier this year. But he’s not out of the woods yet … 4. Not Out of the Woods Ryan still has plenty of legal headaches ahead of him. In July, he was taken into custody not only for speeding but for failing to complete his last round of community service. 5. Spilling the Tea Now, Ryan is speaking out about his most recent brush with the law, and he’s being much more straightforward about the ordeal than many fans expected. 6. What Did You Expect? Of course, this is still Ryan we’re talking about, so he couldn’t stop himself from making excuses to justify his behavior… View Slideshow

Maci Bookout-Ryan Edwards Feud Heats Up, Claims More Victims

Ryan Edwards has undergone a lot of changes recently. In just the past six months Edwards has gone to rehab , overcome a life-threatening addiction, gotten married twice (same girl, two separate ceremonies), and launched a concerted effort to become more of a presence in the life of his son, Bentley. Unfortunately, Ryan's relationship with his baby mama, Maci Bookout, hasn't improved along with the rest of his circumstances. In fact, relations between the exes have hit a new rock bottom, and Ryan and Maci aren't the only one suffering for it… 1. Rehabbed Ryan Over the summer, Ryan checked into rehab after becoming addicted to heroin and prescription painkillers. He’s been sober for several months now, but he’s still struggling to regain Maci’s trust. 2. Father’s Day Showdown On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Maci brought Bentley to Ryan’s parents house for Father’s Day. The visit did not go smoothly. 3. Custody Battle Brewing? Ryan vaguely threatened Maci with a court battle before she left his parents’ house with Bentley in tow. The scene confirmed what many viewers had feared–the fight over Bentley is soon to get even uglier. 4. A Silver Lining? Ryan supporters were hopeful that his eagerness to fight for increased parental rights was a sign that Edwards would begin taking a more active role in Bentley’s life. As this week’s episode of TM2 showed us, however, that doesn’t appear to be the case. 5. Drug Test Drama Ever since Ryan left rehab, Maci has been clear about what she expects from him as a father. Her trust is understandably shaken, and she wants Edwards to submit to drug testing before he’s permitted to spend time alone with Bentley. On this week’s episode, he appeared reluctant to do so. 6. Disappointing Dad Many fans expressed disappointment in Ryan, particularly after being reminded that he, Maci, and Bentley aren’t the only ones who’s lives are affected by his bad behavior… View Slideshow

Kim Kardashian: I’m Proud of My Sex Tape!

Over 10 years since its release, we’re still talking about the Kim Kardashian sex tape. Or, to be more accurate, over 10 years since it release Kim Kardashian and her family members are still talking about the  Kim Kardashian sex tape . On one hand, we can’t blame them. This piece of sizzling footage – filmed by Kim and Ray J during the prime of their relationship, during a trip to Cabo – is the main reason Kim and her loved ones are famous, after all. On the other, however, you’d think there might be a semblance of guilt or shame over the family’s empire being so dependent on video of a D-List hip hop artist bending Kim over and… … sorry, nevermind. You get it by now. But last night’s midseason finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians made just the opposite clear: Kim remains very proud of her work in that video. On the episode in question, Kim, Kris Jenner and a few other cast members sat down for a media training session. At one point, the topic turned to Kim’s often-viewed banging of Ray J, with the interviewer saying to Kris: “The Hollywood Reporter has called it ‘The Kardashian Decade: how a sex tape lead to a billion dollar brand.’ “Kris, interestingly your eyes dropped when Jen got to the mention of the tape.” “I know,” Kris replied with a smile. The trainer then gave Jenner advice on how to react when the sex tape was brought up. “I think try to keep that eye contact and not look like, ‘Ugh.’ Almost like that poked in the ribs a little bit,” he said. And this is when Kardashian herself chimed in as follows: “Don’t be ashamed!”  That’s actually a pretty funny line. And it’s refreshing that Kim can joke about the video that clearly did launch her career, instead of pretending like she never wanted it leaked and that it’s all just so gosh darn embarrassing. Click on the video below to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online and relive this fun scene: Watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 14 Episode 12 Online Elsewhere during the media training session, Kris was asked about Caitlyn Jenner . She insisted that she didn’t turn a “blind eye” to her ex-husband’s desire to be a woman, only that she didn’t have the “whole truth” during their marriage. As for things Caitlyn wrote about in her memoir? “Well, I think just the general tone of the book [was a problem],” she replied, adding in more detail: “Very mean-spirited. A lot of inaccuracies. “I think somebody with a little elegance and class and somebody that’s been divorced but trying to stay on good term with the family might have written: “‘Wow, married to her, didn’t work out, she’s a great girl, wish it could have been different.'” That’s fair. Then again, Kris pushed her daughter to make a sex tape and then profited off said sex tape. So we’re not sure if she’s really in a position to tell others what should or should not be made public. Maci Bookout: I’m GLAD I Dumped Ryan Edwards!

There was a time when Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards were among the most civil former couples in the entire Teen Mom franchise. We think it's safe to say those days are done. Maci and Ryan are feuding over custody of their son, Bentley , and it looks as though the conflict is doomed to get uglier before it (hopefully) gets resolved. As is so often the case in public custody disputes, a fair amount of shade-throwing is going on, and the latest comes from Maci, who says she's very happy that she decided to cut Ryan loose so many years ago.   1. The Beginning There was a time when Ryan and Maci actually seemed like a stable couple by Teen Mom standards. That era didn’t last very long. 2. A Bitter Breakup Ryan and Maci have gone through periods of relatively amicable co-parenting, but they’ve also experienced plenty of rough patches. The one they’re in now being a prime example… 3. “See You in Court!” A recent episode of Teen Mom saw Mackenzie and Bentley visiting Ryan on Father’s Day. He vaguely threatened his ex with legal action. 4. Safety Concerns Maci is reportedly concerned about Ryan’s ability to create a safe and stable environment for Bentley. Given his struggles in recent months, it’s not hard to see why she might feel that way. 5. Ryan at Rock Bottom Ryan’s drug addiction was so severe at one point that he passed out while driving to his own wedding. These days, he’s six months sober, but he’s had a difficult time earning Maci’s trust back. 6. Opening Up Maci spoke candidly about her feelings toward Ryan in a recent TM:OG promo. He might not like what she had to say… View Slideshow

Ryan Edwards: Expecting Another Kid? Fighting For Custody of Bentley?!

Back in June,  Ryan Edwards checked into rehab after a lengthy struggle with prescription painkillers. By all accounts, Ryan has maintained his sobriety in the months since leaving treatment, but he remains troubled by conflict, drama, and questions about his fitness as a parent. Now, Ryan's situation might soon become even more complicated thanks to a pair of rumored developments… 1. Ryan on the Rebound Over the summer, Ryan checked into rehab after passing out while driving to his own wedding. Though he didn’t remain in treatment for very long, sources say he’s remained sober ever since. 2. Wrecked Ryan The decision to seek treatment came after Ryan fell asleeep at the wheel driving to his own wedding. He checked into rehab almost immediately after saying “I do.” 3. Not Exactly Smooth Sailing… Things haven’t been easy for Ryan in the months since he completed treatment, but many of his problems are self-created. Immediately after arriving home, he began taking shots at his ex, Maci Bookout, by posting memes like the one above. 4. A Bad Dad? Ryan has been accused of neglecting his son and blaming Maci when he goes for a long period of time without seeing the boy. 5. Custody In Question? A recent episode of Teen Mom 2 showed Ryan threatening to fight Maci for custody of Bentley. 6. “See You In Court…” Those were the words Edwards supposedly muttered to Maci when she brought Bentley to visit him on Father’s Day. Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: We’re Gonna Have a Baby!

Don't you just love hearing details about the strange, strange couple that is Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer? Of course you do — it's human nature to feel compelled to look at a train wreck, and if Ryan and Mack aren't a train wreck, then what are they? Somehow, someway, they managed to make themselves into one of the most hated couples in the Teen Mom franchise, and that's really saying something. So hey, why not throw a new baby in the mix?! 1. A Love Story Ryan and Mackenzie have been together since sometime last fall. That’s when she was introduced on Teen Mom OG, and we know they got engaged last December. At first, if you’ll remember, many people thought that Mackenzie seemed sweet, stable, and like she’d be a good influence on Ryan. And those people were wrong. 2. Worse and Worse … On the last OG season, we saw them planning their wedding, and we also saw Ryan continue to be just high out of his mind. Maci confirmed that he was doing drugs, but Ryan and Mackenzie didn’t mention anything of the sort until the season finale. 3. A Parking Lot Wedding to Remember For some reason concerning Bentley’s custody that still doesn’t really make sense, Ryan and Mackenzie decided to get married in a quick little ceremony in a parking lot in May instead of waiting for their planned wedding in November. Ryan drove them both to the wedding, and it wasn’t a great time. 4. Nope Nope Nope He was nodding off behind the wheel, so much that Mackenzie had to help him steer. Instead of instructing him to pull over, she concerned herself with turning of MTV’s cameras in the car, and we heard her ask him if he’d been taking Xanax “again.” 5. What a Fairytale Even though Ryan could have easily killed them on the drive over, and even though their only guests were Ryan’s devastated parents, they got married anyway. The whole thing was shocking and depressing and just very, very bad. Some have even called it the darkest moment in Teen Mom history. 6. Off to Rehab On the reunion special for that season, Mackenzie claimed that that fateful wedding drive was the very first time she ever noticed Ryan’s drug use, and that she shipped him off to rehab the very next day. It’s a little hard to believe, especially considering that thousands of strangers noticed his drug use at least a year before, but hey, sure. View Slideshow
