Source: picture alliance / Getty The Dangerous Wack Challenges Continue A disturbing challenge has made waves in the U.K. that’s threatening the lives of young people. According to CBS News , parents and police are issuing warnings against a WhatsApp messaging challenge called the “Momo game” or the “Momo challenge.” The challenge first gained buzz last summer, and mostly children or teens have been known to participate. It requires them to contact a stranger under the name “Momo” using a creepy image. Then, through WhatsApp correspondence, they encourage participants to carry out various tasks if they want to avoid being “cursed.” Some of these tasks include self-harm, and Momo even insists the participants provide photographic evidence to continue the game. Ultimately, the game ends with Momo telling the participant to kill themselves and record it for social media. The “Momo” image is taken from an actual sculpture called “Mother Bird” by Japanese artist Keisuke Aisawa . There’s nothing to indicate Aisawa’s company Link Factory had anything to do with the creation or execution of the Momo challenge. Source: John Lamparski / Getty An arrest warrant has been issued for R. Kelly’s former manager, James Mason. Mason is accused of threatening to kill the father of Joycelyn Savage, one of the women featured in “Surviving R. Kelly.” According to CNN , the warrant was issued over the summer. When CNN called Mason Wednesday, he said he had “no comment” and referred additional questions to his attorney. In an incident report obtained by the network, Timothy Savage stated that Mason said, “I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f***ing kill you.” The case was presented to a Magistrate Judge who issued a warrant in July, citing “terroristic threats and acts.” The warrant is assigned to the sheriff’s office. Joycelyn Savage’s family has claimed she is having a sexual relationship with Kelly, and that she is being manipulated by him into cutting off contact with the outside world. Her father says they haven’t heard from her in about two years. She responded to this claim in a video released in 2017 on TMZ, in which she denied she’s being held and that she had been brainwashed by the Grammy-award winning singer. “I just want everybody to know — my parents and everybody in the world — that I’m totally fine. SB claims she penned “Don’t Matter” over the summer when she first started experiencing “mixed feelings” about Offset after he left her feeling neglected during their short fling. After news broke that Cardi B & Offset were splitting, text messages went viral appearing to show Offset trying to organize a ménage à trois with Bunni and Cuban Doll . This allegedly left Bunni mortified that she has been labeled as a “homewrecker” and says she “never intended to be a catalyst for rapper’s split” because “I really thought he and I were for real.” Summer begins “Don’t Matter” by singing “I’m sick of you, I guess my feelings don’t matter.” She goes on to suggest Offset might have been dishonest with her as well: “You didn’t mean it huh / What you say / You stay lying n***a straight to my face.” However, with lyrics like, “F**k the gossip f**k the tea / I’m the one that you really need.” Go to the next page to see all of the lyrics of “Don’t Matter” as she explains how their relationship played out:
Getty/IG Future And Joie Chavis Host Their Baby Shower Welp, it’s official for the doubters! Future has indirectly confirmed that he is indeed the father of Joie Chavis’ upcoming sweet little seed . The rapper and the model/dance enthusiast held a shower for their soon-to-be-bouncing baby, and revealed the gender of their upcoming collaboration. It’s a… Well, congrats to these two on the baby boy! We can’t help but notice that Future and Joie looked much cozier than co-parents in these pics though. We know he’s supposedly in a relationship with his other-other baby mama Brittni Mealy — even putting a ring (or two) on it on her Birthday back in August! However, after they were each so gung-ho about each other on social media over the summer, they’ve been suspiciously quiet with their displays of affection as of late. Now with the extra hugginess between Future and his ex-bae at the baby shower/gender reveal…we’re not entirely sure what’s what. Plus, Future recently had this stunner made for someone apparently VERY special. Certainly looks like an engagement ring to us… Hm, what do you think? In just the past six months Edwards has gone to rehab , overcome a life-threatening addiction, gotten married twice (same girl, two separate ceremonies), and launched a concerted effort to become more of a presence in the life of his son, Bentley. Unfortunately, Ryan's relationship with his baby mama, Maci Bookout, hasn't improved along with the rest of his circumstances. In fact, relations between the exes have hit a new rock bottom, and Ryan and Maci aren't the only one suffering for it… 1. Rehabbed Ryan Over the summer, Ryan checked into rehab after becoming addicted to heroin and prescription painkillers. He’s been sober for several months now, but he’s still struggling to regain Maci’s trust. 2. Father’s Day Showdown On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Maci brought Bentley to Ryan’s parents house for Father’s Day. The visit did not go smoothly. 3. Custody Battle Brewing? Ryan vaguely threatened Maci with a court battle before she left his parents’ house with Bentley in tow. The scene confirmed what many viewers had feared–the fight over Bentley is soon to get even uglier. 4. A Silver Lining? Ryan supporters were hopeful that his eagerness to fight for increased parental rights was a sign that Edwards would begin taking a more active role in Bentley’s life. As this week’s episode of TM2 showed us, however, that doesn’t appear to be the case. 5. Drug Test Drama Ever since Ryan left rehab, Maci has been clear about what she expects from him as a father. Just because Kate Gosselin had her children celebrate without Collin on Collin’s birthday doesn’t mean that she doesn’t know how to celebrate milestones for her other children. This time, it’s Leah Gosselin who’s being celebrated, as she finally got her braces off! And while the photos are cute, reactions in the form of Instagram comments were all over the place. It seems that Collin Gosselin is still missing , off at some dubious institution where Kate decided that he belonged. But Kate does have other children who, in an indictment of our society’s inability to look after the well-being of children, remain in Kate Gosselin’s custody. There are, however, some positive moments, even in that household. And there are things to celebrate. In the photo below, Leah Gosselin — who, like her fellow sextuplets, turned 13 over the summer — has finally gotten her braces off. And she’s celebrating with an array of tasty desserts … among other snacks. See how happy she looks! Leah’s smile is bright and celebratory! But still not quite as happy as her smile will be when she one day escapes from her mother and never looks back. As you can see, her teeth are no longer imprisoned by a sharp metal tooth-corset, which, having had braces when I was about her age, is how I would describe braces. You can’t see her food choices too well in this photo, so Kate, in either a rare moment of kindness or perhaps a desperate attempt to show that she can be “nice” and “fun” sometimes, really, she promises, shared another photo. In it, we see cake, a number of candies, and popcorn … which makes us think that Kate must have actually enforced the orthodontist’s rules about what to not eat with braces. (When I had braces, I avoided only popcorn. Gum actually helped me adjust to having the braces, and I never had any problem with gum or anything else) But here are the treats that Leah got to enjoy: With both photos, Kate Gosselin included the caption: “Somebody got their braces off today! [three grinning-face emojis] #CongratsLeah #BracesOffParty #GosselinTradition #BracesOnBracesOffConstantHere” We’ll say this much about Kate Gosselin — having a braces-off celebration for your kids is a great idea. Kate, you’re always finding unique ways to make your kids feel special and I LOVE that! [red heart emoji]” We weren’t the only ones who are still preoccupied by the fact that Kate decided to disappear her own child and keep him isolated from his siblings.
