I know my eyesight isn’t great — spending 5 days a week with your nose an inch from your computer screen probably isn’t very good for your eyes, plus there’s all that stuff my mom used to tell about how my private bathroom time would make me go blind. So maybe it’s just me, but it kind of looks like  Amy Jackson is wearing a pad or something in her bikini bottoms in this photoshoot. So now that Kelly Kelly was released by the WWE last month, she’s gone back to her real name, Barbie Blank. She also dyed her hair brown, I guess to complete the transformation. And since years of carefully studying bikini pictures for wardrobe malfunctions have honed my eyesight, I think I can make out that her iPhone case is a picture of her hockey player boyfriend Sheldon Souray. So that makes two of them that are currently out of work. That’s rough. Luckily though, it looks like Barbie has a bright future as a professional Twitter model. She can even work from home. Michael Jackson Letter to Lisa Marie Presley: Revealed, Removed From Auction

A letter Michael Jackson wrote to his former wife Lisa Marie Presley – in which he complains of chronic insomnia – was set to be sold at auctioned … before until Lisa Marie found out, threw a fit and demanded it be taken off the block. She didn’t say why she wanted the letter pulled , but it’s easy to guess. Written sometime between 1993 and 1996, the letter from MJ reads: “Smell here [arrow with box] Lisa I truly need this rest I haven’t slept litterally [sic] in 4 days now. I need to be away from phones and Business people.” “I must take care of my health first Im’ [sic] crazy for you Love Turd.” Yes … Love Turd. Michael Jackson died June 25, 2009. Dr. Conrad Murray , who was injecting him with the hospital-grade anesthetic Propofol to help him sleep, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years behind bars. Julien’s Auction in Beverly Hills didn’t elaborate on the incident beyond stating that Lisa’s request was of “a personal nature” and “we wanted to honor the request.” We can read between the lines.

Doc Watson, Veteran Folk Singer, Dead at 89

Following a hospitalization for abdominal surgery in North Carolina, Grammy-winning folk singer Doc Watson passed away yesterday, the Associated Press confirms. He was 89. The singer/songwriter actually lost his eyesight as a child, but that didn’t stop him from going on to record such hits as “Tom Dooley” and “Shady Grove.” Doc Watson in Concert Watson toured for decades, beginning in the 1960s and faced tragedy in 1985 when he son Eddy was killed in a tractor accident. He is now survived by daughter Nancy. The popular artist won seven Grammys, as well as a lifetime achievement award in 2004. In 1997, he was given the National Medal of Arts from President Bill Clinton.

Wild chimps outwit human hunters

In the wild Chimpanzee's face dangers from hunters and poachers who set traps which kill many of the animals every year. However, Primatologist's discovered a low rate of Chimpanzee injuries and deaths in Bossou. After studying the area they found the small groups of male Chimpanzees successfully deactivating traps set to catch wildlife. “Mostly, the chimps grasped the snare stick with their hands, shaking it violently until the trap broke. Sometimes a chimp lightly knocked the sapling that holds the snare, before grasping it to break the trap. But in all cases, they avoided touching the dangerous part, the wire loop. In the video above, chimp can be seen seeking out and inspecting snares, without breaking them. “-BBC Primatologists say this has changed the way they understand Chimpanzee can learn, since before they thought the animals only used trail and error. Stating the Chimpanzee's might have learnt from observation and passed down information through generations. PORTLAND, Ore. — Bethany Storro had just bought a pair of sunglasses and was celebrating a new job when a black woman walked up to her with a cup and said: “Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?” The woman then splashed acid in the cup on Storro, who stumbled in pain and fell to the ground screaming. She felt agonizing pain as the skin on her face bubbled and sizzled and portions of her blouse disintegrated. “It was the most painful thing ever,” Storro, 28, said Thursday. “My heart stopped. It ripped through my clothing the instant it touched my shirt; I could feel it burning through my second layer of skin.” But she insisted that she would not let the attack in Vancouver wreck her life, and laughingly marveled how her eyesight was spared just minutes after she bought those sunglasses.Storro said she had spinal meningitis twice as a child, which robbed her of most of her hearing. “Oh my gosh, to be hard of hearing and blind? That would drive them nuts,” she said, laughing and pointing at her parents, Joe and Nancy Neuwelt. “They have to be in the same room for me to hear them.
