Lil Durk Facing Criminal Intent To Commit Murder Charges In Atlanta

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Lil Durk is set to turn himself in to authorities in Atlanta after the Atlanta Police Department issued a warrant for the Chicago rapper’s arrest. Authorities plan to charge Durk with criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime, TMZ reports. WSB-TV in Atlanta reported that Durk lawyers told the news station that the rapper would be turning himself in for charges related to a February 5th shooting at The Varsity. Durk’s OTF affiliate King Von has already been detained for the shooting, which left a 23-year-old victim with gunshot wounds. Von was booked on charges including aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit murder, participation in a street gang activity, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during commission for a shooting on May 17. YFN Lucci’s Mercedes Shot Up In Atlanta, One Person Injured

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Well damn! YFN Lucci ‘s prized red Mercedes G-Wagon was riddled with bullet holes from a drive-by shooting that left one person inside the vehicle injured. According to TMZ , Lucci’s Mercedes SUV was shot up this past Friday night in Atlanta. When police responded, they found a man inside suffering from two gunshot wounds. The victim was not Lucci and he’s expected to make a full recovery but Lucci wasn’t listed on the police report. Bullets ripped through the passenger windows on both sides, side doors, the vehicle’s rear window, the rear door, the bumper as well as one of the rear tires. The victim was driving the vehicle according to authorities when shots began ringing out. He was shot in the left shoulder.

Reports TMZ : According to the Hennepin County jail … the B2K singer was arrested for domestic assault by strangulation early Wednesday morning. Our sources say the victim was Raz’s girlfriend, and cops say they took photos of her alleged injuries as evidence. Raz is currently being held without bail. B2K has a concert scheduled for Wednesday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis as part of their reunion tour. Raz’s side claims that he got into an argument with his girlfriend but it only got physical when she attacked him. He maintains that he didn’t intentionally strike her and that he was only defending himself. In an interview with Kerwin Frost, Lil Yachty acknowledged that fans were correct to presume that he had a writing credit on City Girls ‘ latest hit “Act Up”. What did he actually write? In Yachty’s words, he penned almost the entire song while in the studio with his friend and frequent collaborator EarlThePearll . “When it came out, people was so shocked and they didn’t believe it,” he said. “I wrote the whole song, except for J.T.’s last verse. But everything that everyone is singing, I wrote the whole thing.” Yachty is credited with Jatavia “J.T.” Johnson and EarlThePearll who produced the song. City Girls’ other member, Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee” does not have a writing credit. Yachty says that Earl asked him to try his hand at writing for City Girls, and he pulled off the feet simply be getting into their mindset. Victim Shot In Nipsey Hussle Murder Arrested For Parole Violation

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Kerry Lathan , the man who  Nipsey Hussle  was buying clothes for on the day that beloved rapper was gunned down, has been arrested on a parole violation . Lathan, 56, who was one of the two men who were shot and wounded during the March 31 shooting has been in jail since Monday. One of the terms for most California parolees is that they have no interaction with felons or gang members. Due to Hussle’s affiliation with the Rollin 60’s Crips, it is widely believed that Lathan may have violated his parole that way. Lathan had served 20 years for murder before being released on parole. “Gov. Gavin Newsom should order the immediate release of Kerry. His arrest sends a horrible message to parolees trying to integrate into society and for [corrections] officials to label Hussle, who was a Grammy-nominated artist entrepreneur, gentrification fighter and philanthropist, as a known gang member is a slap in the face to his family and our grieving community,” community activist Najee Ali told  The Los Angeles Times on Friday. RELATED:  Watch Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration Of Life On March 31, Hussle went to The Marathon Store to get some clothes for Lathan so that he would be fresh to see his family and friends for the first time in well over two decades. Then, tragedy struck. Lathan, Hussle and another man were standing outside of The Marathon Clothing store when  Eric Holder approached them. After a brief verbal confrontation between he and Hussle, the two shook hands and Holder left. He then later returned, opening fire, hitting Lathan in the back and shooting Hussle numerous times. Hussle died at an LA area hospital. Holder was arrested on April 2 and has been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder in the killing. A public memorial service was held Thursday for Hussle at the Staples Center followed by a long procession through the streets of Los Angeles, culminating in a large gathering on the newly minted Nipsey Hussle Square where The Marathon Clothing Store is located. “The Marathon Continues,” was an underlying theme throughout as the streets of South Central L.A. filled with well wishers, fans and more. He was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Hollywood Hills on Friday.
