F Yesterday (July 23) Amber Rose launched her new escapex app and to bolster its success the founder of the Slut Walk has announced that her fans won’t just get a social media platform to build on, but they’ll also get some financial backing. Designed to empower women who want to better themselves and their lives, escapex will also have a feature that involves Amber Rose coming out of pocket to help fund some of its users tuition costs, pay some others rent, and fund some business endeavors. Yeah, you read that right. Amber Rose’s going to be investing in people. According to  Page Six , Rose feels that her Rosebud community deserves to be seen and heard and she’s doing what she can to help them do just that. “I wanted it to be very personal so it’s going to be full of content you can’t find on any of my other platforms,” Rose said in a news release. “I also know how amazing my fans are, so this gives me the opportunity to show them I see and hear them. I want to give back and build a tight-knit community in which they can all feel empowered to be themselves with the support of other members of the amazing Amber Rose community.” And as for getting funded personally by Rose,  “Amber will be funding these projects on her own as she wants to support the individuals who have been supporting her along the way,” the rep told us. You can hate on a lot of things about Amber Rose’s lifestyle, but you really can’t hate on that.

I don’t care what these girls are protesting, I am going to assume based on their sloppy bodies, that it has something to do with hating skinny girls, because that’s what all the corporations want girls to be protesting, you know feel empowered to bully skinny girls who get paid millions to look good, encouraging other girls to use Rosie or Roseanne as their idols or that new Australian from Pitch Perfect, instead of skinny girls….all to increase sales of fast food, to make the world a lazier place that doesn’t protest, who are addicted to anti-depressants and rely on diabetes medication…health and fitness is the one thing the government and big business doesn’t want. What it comes down to is that I totally endorse all protests that involve tits…even if I am totally into models and their skinny long bodies.

Angelina Jolie Undergoes Double Mastectomy to Prevent Breast Cancer

  Angelina Jolie has gone public with her choice to undergo a preventative double mastectomy. In Tuesday’s New York Times Op-Ed section, Jolie revealed the difficult medical decision she made after discovering she carried the BRCA1 gene which leads to an increased risk in breast and ovarian cancer.  Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, passed away at the young age of 56 after battling cancer for over a decade. As Jolie said in her article, We often speak of “Mommy’s mommy,” and I find myself trying to explain the illness that took her away from us. They have asked if the same could happen to me.” Jolie’s doctors estimated her breast cancer risk at 87% and ovarian cancer risk at 50%. The double mastectomy has now reduced her risk to 5%. She privately began the surgeries in early February and has just finished in late April. She credits longtime partner Brad Pitt as always being by her side and helping find moments to laugh throughout the difficult process.  Jolie underwent her surgeries at the Pink Lotus Breast Center. Her choice to open up about the double mastectomy was to help shed a light on cancer prevention for other women around the world. “On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.” That sounds like the Angelina we know and love!
