The explosive New York Times report accusing Hollywood producer and mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment includes a strange statement from Weinstein himself. The “Pulp Fiction” and “Scream” producer claims to be quoting collaborator JAY-Z ‘s  4:44 album to show his remorse, but there is no records of the lyrics he’s referencing. Weinstein’s statement: Jay Z wrote in 4:44 “I’m not the man I thought I was and I better be that man for my children.” The same is true for me. Was he thinking of these lyrics? And if my children knew I don’t even know what I would do If they ain’t look at me the same I would prob’ly die with all the shame SPIN  has the full report: Weinstein’s statement also referenced an ostensible quote from “4:44,” Jay-Z ’s song of contrition for apparently cheating on his wife Beyoncé . (Weinstein and Jay-Z are also in business together on multiple film and TV projects , including one involving Lisa Bloom , an attorney who is helping defend Weinstein from these allegations.) The quote is ridiculous on his face–having an affair is not the same thing sexually violating multiple women–and is made even more so by the fact that it’s not really a Jay-Z quote at all. Alexis Arquette Funeral Plans Revealed; Famous Siblings Pay Tribute

As we reported yesterday, actress, model, and transgender activist Alexis Arquette passed away at 12:32 am on the Sunday morning. Though no official cause of death has been revealed, sources have indicated that Arquette died from complications from AIDS . Some insiders have claimed that she had also been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. Her family has not confirmed the cause of death, but in the social media post in which he announced her passing, Alexis’ brother Richmond Arquette did indicate that she had been battling an illness and recently took a turn for the worse. “Our brother Robert, who became our brother Alexis, who became our sister Alexis, who became our brother Alexis, passed this morning,” Richmond wrote. “He was surrounded by all of his brothers and sisters, one of his nieces and several other loved ones.” He added that Alexis had outlined for her family exactly how she wanted them to pay their respects: “As per his wishes, we cheered at the moment that he transitioned to another dimension,” he revealed. The claim that Alexis was suffering from both cancer and AIDS comes from a former boyfriend named Robert Dupont, who added that the 47-year-old was in a medically induced coma at the time of her death. Other sources have since confirmed that Alexis had been diagnosed with AIDS. Now, Alexis’ famous family members are paying tribute on social media and planning for a funeral that they hope will serve as a fitting tribute to her unique spirit. “Alexis’s family are very close and they are planning a private service of their own this week in L.A., followed by a very private burial service,” a source close to the Arquettes tells Radar Online. “Alexis is expected to be buried this week in L.A. and the Arquette family has asked, that in lieu of flowers, her friends and fans donate to LGBT causes and charities.”  On social media, meanwhile, David Arquette has been thanking fans for their support and sharing fond memories of Alexis. “Thank you all for your love and kind words about Alexis,” the actor tweeted this afternoon. “My hero for eternity.” Patricia Arquette tweeted recordings of several of Alexis’ favorite songs, including David Bowie’s “Star Man”, which the family says was playing at the moment she passed. Shots Fired: Mariah Carey’s Brother Speaks Out On Her Abandoning Drug Addicted Sister & Says He’s Scared Of Retaliation [Video]

Morgan Carey, Mariah’s brother, lives in Italy and is speaking out about the songstress abandoning their sister and not speaking to him in over 6-years! InsideEdition : Mariah Carey has been called out by her own brother, who’s accusing the singer of abandoning her troubled sister. Speaking to Inside Edition from Florence, Italy, Mariah’s older brother, Morgan, 51, spoke about his broken family, saying: “Mariah doesn’t care about anyone other than herself.” Alison Carey, 55, was arrested on prostitution charges earlier week at a low budget motel in upstate New York. She has pleaded not guilty. Cops say she placed an online ad soliciting sex that borrowed lines from her sister’s 1996 hit, “Fantasy,” “I’m a pretty lady looking for guys…with me it’s such a sweet, sweet fantasy baby!” the ad read. The arrest is the latest crisis for Alison, who in her younger days wanted to be a singer just like Mariah, but she ended up battling drugs and falling on hard times. Morgan said: “I would hope Mariah could find it in her heart to forgive Alison her transgressions and step up, create a trust, let’s make sure Alison’s needs are met.” Morgan and Mariah were once very close. In fact, Morgan — a model and music producer — claims he was instrumental in Mariah becoming a superstar. “There wouldn’t be a Mariah Carey today if it hadn’t been for me,” he claims. He says he has not spoken to Mariah in six years following a nasty rift tore them apart. Morgan says he’s upset because Mariah refuses to help Alison, even after she recorded a desperate public plea for help in March. Mariah’s publicist says she has done a lot over the years to give Alison a helping hand. “Through the years, Mariah has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting Alison and her children,” the statement said. Morgan says: “I will always be puzzled why Alison, a heroin addict, has always been given large sums of money from Mariah her whole life. You can’t put large sums of cash into the hands of a drug addict.” Incredibly, Morgan fears retaliation from his famous sister and her fans for speaking out. “It’s about protecting this fiction she has created, this image she has created, it’s about keeping the darkest secrets covered up,” he said. It is believed Mariah has not spoken to her sister since 1994. InsideEdition

In case you forgot why Lupita Nyong’o is The Most Beautiful Woman in the World … The Oscar-winning actress covers this month’s issue of Vogue, her first appearance on the front of a national fashion magazine. Shot by Mikael Jansson, Nyong’o is wearing a printed Prada dress in the picture, smiling brightly as a one of the “women to watch,” according to editors. Nyong’o made a number of fashionable impressions on the red carpet of various events this spring and also been named the first-ever black brand ambassador for Lancôme. In her interview with Vogue, Lupita agreed that she’s had a “surreal” 2014 so far, adding: “It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life. People who seemed so distant all of a sudden were right in front of me and recognizing me – before I recognized them!” Nyong’o, of course, will soon be recognized a whole lot more: she’ll play a key, mysterious role in  Star Wars Episode VII . Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman: Dating For Real!

When news first broke that Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman hooked up at Cannes , no one really believed it. After all, Tarantino had been pursuing Thurman for decades, describing her as his “muse,” stuffing his films with unsettling extended close-ups of her feet, and having John Travolta plunge a hypodermic into her chest in Pulp Fiction because he figured that was the closest he’d get to penetration. Well consider us fully shocked, because based on photos from last night, it seems that Q has finally scored his U: That’s Quentin and Uma leaving Mr. Chow in LA last night, and in addition to the fact that they’re sneaking out the backdoor, they seem awfully close for two folks that aren’t dating, wouldn’t you say? Uma is divorced from Ethan Hawke and the actor once blamed Tarantino for the dissolution of his marriage. Recently,  Thurman broke up with Arpad Busson  after a seven-year relationship. We’ll see if Busson also accuses Tarantino of sabotaging his relationship. If so, then Tarantino is like the friend-zoned nerd in an ’80s high school movie combined with a conniving Keyser Soze-type. Brooke Mueller Denied Restraining Order Against Charlie Sheen

Brooke Mueller has been denied by a judge in her attempt to secure a restraining order against ex-husband Charlie Sheen for threatening her last week. The troubled Mueller filed the request for a temporary restraining order against the equally mercurial Sheen following his epic anti-Brooke tirade last week. Charlie Sheen Denied Access to Kids With Brooke Mueller According to Charlie, Brooke is an evil whore who’s putting their twins’ lives in danger, and pretty much the worst parent and human being to ever live. Sheen said he would seek custody of sons Bob and Max, but according Mueller, took this way too far. In her petition, Brooke quotes Charlie saying: “[T]here will be a reckoning. There will be a whirlwind. That they will all reap while desperate begging for my forgiveness. You’ve all been warned.” “I will exercise every resource at my disposal. I will, I will, I will, I will empty my entire war chest and if I cannot get it done, I know a guy who can.” Mueller wanted a restraining order based on that perceived threat, but apparently a judge felt it was just Charlie being Charlie and that she isn’t in danger. Still, she insists she’s staying sober, while Charlie is on a mission to sabotage her, though. Brooke says she’s even scared Charlie will plant drugs on her. The judge wasn’t buying it … at least not yet. A hearing is set for next month for Brooke, who currently still has custody of Bob and Max despite her substance abuse issues, to make her case. Meanwhile, Sheen was denied in his initial efforts to wrest his children away from Mueller … and has shown no signs of slowing down in that mission.

Taylor Swift Debuts "The Last Time" on The X Factor UK

Taylor Swift performed “The Last Time” for the first time last night. Appearing on The X Factor UK and joined by Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol, the artist gave viewers a listen to one of the track off last year’s mammoth album, “Red.” It will be the next single she released internationally and this marked the first time Swift performed it on television. Give the rendition a look and a listen now: Taylor Swift – “The Last Time” (Live) Late last month, Taylor premiered another single, ” Stranger Than Fiction ,” which will be included on the soundtrack of the film One Chance . Topless Book Club: Celebrating Spring in Central Park!

The weather’s finally getting warmer in New York after a long winter, and The Outdoor Co-Ed Topless Pulp Fiction Appreciation Society is taking advantage. Yes … it’s a topless book club. As part of their mission to “make reading sexy” and remind New Yorkers that toplessness is somehow legal in the city, the women are doing their thing! This week, the group discussed recent works by Stephen King and Elissa Wald, as well as the merits of Dr. Who , Benedict Cumberbatch and Wallace Shawn. Moreover, they debated the definitions of “dialectic” and “apogee,” ate miniature cupcakes, and let their Vitamin D-starved bare skin soak up the sun. The OCETPFA, an organization who loves boobs and books, and thinks “pulp fiction pairs well with a bold, topless outing,” describes their mission as such: “We’re a group of friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends, and total strangers, who love good books and sunny days and enjoying both as nearly in the altogether as the law allows.” “Happily, New York City law allows toplessness by both men and women.
