After last week’s shocking elimination of Pia Toscano on American Idol , we learned to be prepared for everything. No one is safe going into the results show. Would someone we expected to stick around all season be ousted again tonight? Would America cast its ballots more predictably this time? We had no clue. We did accurately predict that three among these four – Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald, Stefano Langone and Haley Reinhart – would comprise the final three. Paul, Stefano and Haley earned the fewest votes after Wednesday night. Follow the jump to see which of the three left American Idol tonight … Paul McDonald is on his way back to Nashville. For the first time in six weeks, a guy was sent packing. Paul’s gravelly voice and Southern charm carried him far, but couldn’t get him over the hump tonight. “It’s OK, man, it’s OK. It’s been fun, a good time,” Paul told Ryan, before J. Lo offered a request for one more performance of Rod Stewart’s “Maggie May.” What do you think? Did America blow it again this week, or was Paul McDonald actually deserving of the heave-ho from Idol? Sound off below …
Another week of drama on Dancing With the Stars came to an end last night. From Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley ‘s latest snafu to a number of suspect performances, there were several couples sweating it out. Did Kendra Wilkinson rally enough votes to sneak by after tanking so hard ? Or would Sugar Ray Leonard pay the price and be sent home instead? One of these three pairs is gone: Follow the jump to see who stayed and who’s history … Sugar Ray Leonard was eliminated on the results show. “That’s life and I fought a good fight,” said Leonard. “I will cherish this moment. Good friends, good show. I love the spirit. I love the people on this show.” He had the second lowest score after Kendra Monday. The former boxing champion’s pro partner Anna Trebunskaya added: “We had so much fun. It’s just amazing that a boxer became a ballet dancer!” What do you think? Did the voters get it right? The first two elimination rounds of American Idol featured the surprising save of Casey Abrams, followed by a double ouster of Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia. Was the third contestant voted off tonight someone we expected, or did the voters have another surprise up their sleeves after Wednesday’s performances? Most pundits felt the Bottom Three would be made of Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald and Stefano Langone. Two out of the three did in fact land there. But … The third member of the trio in danger was someone no one saw coming, and not only did that person land in the bottom three, they’re the one going home! Follow the jump to see which finalist left American Idol tonight … Pia Toscano was shockingly sent packing by voters this week! American Idol viewers eliminated their fifth consecutive female singer tonight, leaving Jacob, Stefano, the judges and plenty of fans beyond shocked. Many considered Pia to not just be safe tonight, but to have given Wednesday’s best performance and to be almost a lock for the Season 10 finals. “What a shock, what a surprise,” Ryan Seacrest said amid boos. Jennifer Lopez could not even hold back the tears. “I have no idea what just happened here. I’m shocked. I’m angry. I don’t even know what to say.” “A mistake is one thing, but a lack of passion is unforgivable,” Steven Tyler added, upset and nearly at a loss for words himself. “They’re wrong.” “We’re all in shock,” said Randy Jackson. “I’m gutted.” Think they’re regretting that save of Casey Abrams?! After her swan song (The Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand By You”), Pia Toscano broke down and was given a standing ovation from all, with many in tears. What do you think? Did America really blow it this week, or was Pia actually deserving of the heave-ho? Sound off in the comments …
Will Ronnie Magro be allowed to film Jersey Shore’s fourth season in Italy despite the pending litigation against him? His lawyer is trying to make it happen. Joseph A. Raia told a judge that the reality star will submit an application for a pretrial intervention program in connection with a pending assault charge . The charge is in connection with an 18-month-old incident in which Ron cold cocked Stephen Izzo with one punch after an exchange at a Seaside Heights. The incident was broadcast in an episode titled, fittingly, “One Shot.” The court application would allow Ronnie to tape the show’s fourth season in Italy. While not admitting guilt, the applicant (Ron-Ron) just has to stay out of trouble for a defined time period (at least a year) to avoid a criminal record. Magro’s next court date is June 6. It’s unknown if his bid will be accepted, but hard to see him being denied the right to film abroad for a few weeks. Follow the jump to see the fight … Jersey Shore – One Shot Fight
Tiger Woods made a rare television appearance last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon – the golfer’s first such interview since the late 2009 “incident.” We don’t have to get into Rachel Uchitel , the car crash and everything else. Fallon started off asking Woods what he’s been up to the last year and a half. “Oh, nothing, nothing… Playing bad golf,” the champion said, smiling. “From a comedian’s stand-point and my monologue writers, thank you,” Fallon said, speaking for all of us. “Your awful pain, we laughed at your pain.” Even Tiger had to chuckle when Fallon added: “Not even making jokes, it kind of wrote itself. Balls, shaft, holes, foursomes … it really writes itself!” Woods had a fairly good time after that, talking about his charitable foundation, his recent top-10 finish and his bachelor pad/backyard golf course. Later, Woods, Fallon and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler demonstrated Tiger’s new golf video game (ostensibly his reason for being there). For the second time in a week, Casey Abrams was hospitalized with ulcerative colitis last night. The American Idol finalist missed the latest results show – in which Ashthon Jones was sent home – as Ryan Seacrest told viewers: “Wave to him. We know you’re watching, buddy. Feel better. Shout out to the nurses. Get back here soon, okay?” Fortunately, it looks like Casey will do just that. After receiving a blood transfusion at the hospital, Abrams Tweeted: “Hey guys, thanks for the well wishes, I got some nice fresh blood in me and feeling better. People at Idol & Cedars are treatin me real good.” The Idols will take to the stage again on Wednesday night, covering songs from the years they were born.

Natalie Portman has released a statement regarding the shockingly abrasive remarks made by designer John Galliano late last week. The Dior Creative Designer was caught on camera over the weekend, blatantly saying he loves Hitler and telling a Jewish woman she would have “been gassed” if the former dictator was still in power. Said Portman, who has worked with Galliano over the years: “I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. “I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful.” In light the aforementioned incident, Dior has fired Galliano. Said Chairman and CEO Sidney Toledano: “I unequivocally condemn the statements made by John Galliano, which are in total contradiction to the longstanding core values of Christian Dior.”
Last week, a graphic photo of a battered Rihanna leaked. That image showed, for the first time, the gruesome extent of the damage caused by then-boyfriend Chris Brown the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. Now, a new photo has surfaced that reportedly shows a lip injury Chris suffered the night he beat Rihanna up. The damage is minor, but it’s still there. MediaTakeOut , which broke the story, says the pic was taken after the fight, during which he claimed Rihanna hit him first. Follow the jump to see: Brown had told investigators Rihanna had hit him that night and scratched up his face. It goes without saying that the Rihanna abuse photo is a bit worse. Ultimately, it didn’t matter, as Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault. He has been on probation ever since, performing community service and hard labor. A restraining order against him was just lifted , right around the leaking of these pics. Do you see the incident in a different light after seeing this image?
