Ex-NBA Player Rasual Butler and Wife Dead In Car Crash https://t.co/1aysk6fABj — TMZ (@TMZ) February 1, 2018 As TMZ reports, during the early morning hours of January 31, Rasual Butler and wife Leah LaBelle were both pronounced dead after being involved in a deadly single car crash in California. Butler and LaBelle are survived by their families, including his daughter Raven Butler from a previous relationship. Via TMZ: Ex-NBA player Rasual Butler and his wife — a singer who appeared on “American Idol” — were both killed in a single car crash in Studio City, CA early Wednesday morning, TMZ Sports has learned. 38-year-old Butler — who was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2002 — lost control of his Range Rover around 2 AM, struck a parking meter and slammed into a wall. The car flipped. Officers believe the car was speeding before it lost control.  Butler had a long NBA career after an impressive run at La Salle — where he was a 2-time First Team All-Atlantic 10 Player. He’s a member of the La Salle Hall of Athletics. He went on to play in the NBA until 2016 — with stints on the Hornets, Clippers, Bulls, Raptors, Pacers, Wizards and Spurs. Rasual most recently played in Ice Cube’s BIG3 league.  Butler’s wife Leah LaBelle, 31, was an R&B singer who was signed to Epic Records. She placed 12th on the 3rd Season of “American Idol” back in 2004.  Fellow NBA and entertainment industry stars expressed their condolences and memories of the young couple, including Kobe Bryant, Pharrell Williams, Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Nia Long, Bryan Michael Cox and Ray Allen. ‘Black Panther’ Pre-Sales Topping All Previous Superhero Movies

With fans already planning their outfit choices and pre-game plans for the film’s premiere, the pre-sale tickets are breaking records with each passing day. #BlackPanther Fandango pre-sales outpacing all superhero movies https://t.co/EmDY0OMjTq — Variety (@Variety) January 31, 2018 Per Variety , movie tickets website Fandango is reporting that the anticipation for Black Panther has reached a relative frenzy, as pre-sales for the film are topping all previous superhero movies. In late January it was projected that Black Panther could see an opening weekend within the $100-$120 million range. Early reviews have been stellar, which is likely one reason for such record-breaking advanced sales. Via Variety: Disney-Marvel’s “Black Panther” is outpacing all superhero movies in advance ticket sales for Fandango’s online tickets service, eclipsing 2016’s “Batman v Superman.” Fandango reported Wednesday that “Black Panther” had topped daily ticket sales in the wake of its world premiere and first screenings on Monday night — even though it doesn’t open in theaters until Feb. 16. According to a Fandango survey of more than 1,000 “Black Panther” moviegoers: 97% are looking forward to a different kind of superhero movie; 95% look forward to the film’s positive messages; 93% said they couldn’t wait to see Chadwick Boseman in his own “Black Panther” movie after seeing him in “Captain America: Civil War;” 86% are excited to see the film’s all-female guards/warriors, the Dora Milaje; and 85% are intrigued by the film’s exotic setting in the mythical African kingdom of Wakanda. “The buzz on ‘Black Panther’ is electric,” Fandango managing editor Erik Davis said. “Early screening audiences say it is one of Marvel’s best movies ever, and the positive word-of-mouth is helping drive the movie’s spectacular advance ticket sales.” With a Hollywood premiere that was full of #BlackExcellence coupled with the official start of Black History Month, expect those opening weekend projections to be a little off because Black Panther will likely have a higher opening weekend profit than currently predicted. The cool thing about genuinely funny people is that they can get laughs out of doing the same thing over and over and over again. When mere mortals are intentionally repetitive, they usually get punched in the face. On Tuesday night, Paul Rudd appeared on Conan O’Brien’s TBS talk show with what he claimed was a clip from the highly anticipated Anchorman 2 . “This is going to go crazy viral,” said Conan, setting up what has been a running joke between the two men for a while now.  Instead of a glimpse into the world of Ron Burgundy and Brian Fantana , viewers at home were treated to the runaway wheelchair scene from Mac and Me , a clip that Rudd has used before on Conan’s show as a substitute for whatever movie he’s actually promoting. The best part: after Rudd apologized for belaboring the running gag, he did show an Anchorman 2 clip. Or did he? Camille Grammer: Returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

Guess Camille Grammer couldn’t quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after all. An E! source says she will, in fact, return to the Bravo hit for its third season. Grammer, who all but officially left her role as a series regular on the program earlier this year, is now heading back to the reality show in some capacity. She will be making cameos throughout next season, reports say, including an appearance at Kyle Richards’ birthday party, which she attended last weekend. Over the coming weeks, Kelsey Grammer’s former wife is expected to continue to shoot even more scenes for next season. So much for Camille being fired. “I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore,” the 43-year-old explained last month regarding her departure from the highly-rated reality series. “I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my children, and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now.” Well, at least to a point. The last time we checked in with Stallone about the future of his famed Vietnam vet John Rambo , it seemed as though there might not be any more story to tell and that the hero needed “to stop running” and take a rest . Thanks to our recent run-in with the main man at CinemaCon, it seems as if Rambo’s rest has come to an end and we might see him rise again. “There’s a volcanic eruption [brewing]. The magma of Rambo is coming to the surface,” Stallone said when asked about his thoughts on bringing the character back to the big screen. So is there another story to tell? “I know there is,” he said definitively. “It’s one thing where you lay down the final culmination of your life where you can articulate it, but also act on it where he realizes what his destiny really is,” Stallone said, speaking for the character and how he might take a moment to reflect on his life and realize his work isn’t finished. “It’s not to be a farmer, it’s not to be obscure; it’s to go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that’s just his id? There are only a few hours until the premiere of an exclusive clip from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” followed by a lengthy Q&A with stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner as part of “MTV First: Breaking Dawn” tonight at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com. For those dying to know more about the clip Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner will be introducing, we have a special sneak peek for you right here, right now. The clip opens with Bella’s mom entering the room in which Alice and Rosalie are helping Bella get ready for her wedding day. “Crap, my mascara!” mom Renee Dwyer (Sarah Clarke) says when she sees Bella, at which point Alice hands her a tissue. “Thanks,” she says, dabbing at her eyes. “Charlie, get in here!” she calls to Bella’s father (Billy Burke). Charlie pops his head into the frame tentatively. “You sure?” he asks, at which point our teaser ends. We haven’t seen much from the highly anticipated nuptials between Bella and Edward, but Pattinson and co-star Peter Facinelli did tell us how pretty everything and everyone looked during filming. “[Kristen] looked amazing,” Pattinson told us of seeing Stewart in Bella’s wedding dress. “I really didn’t do anything much but just stand there.” “[The wedding scene was] beautiful and spectacular,” Facinelli chimed in . “It’s funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on ‘Twilight’ [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from ‘Twilight’], and it was raining. But you never see it on film,” he said of the crew’s movie magic. “With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you’ll never see it on film; they block out the rain. They put tarps up, and you’ll never see it. We have a preview of the ‘tent scene,’ including hilarious commentary by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. While “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” DVD doesn’t come out until December 4, MTV News is delighted to present an exclusive clip from the highly anticipated release — complete with commentary from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart! This isn’t just any clip either. Summit has kindly bestowed upon us a juicy little snippet from the fan favorite “tent scene.” In this clip, fans get to see the heated exchange between Edward (Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) as they discuss how Jacob will have to get into a sleeping bag with Bella (Stewart) in order to keep her warm and save her from freezing to death. Edward, of course, is not at all pleased with Jacob getting anywhere near Bella, but he must concede for Bella’s sake. Jacob, taking advantage of the situation, revels in the fact that his warmer-than-normal body temperature means he can do for Bella what Edward can’t. The scene itself offers plenty of entertainment, but it’s Pattinson and Stewart’s hilarious voiceover commentary about the scene that really sells it. “Slurp your coffee a little bit more,” we hear Stewart say to Pattinson. “That’s what the fans want.” “It’s not coffee,” Pattinson responds. “It’s an Arnold Palmer,” he says, attempting to pronounce it with an American accent. “You’re drinking an Arnold Palmer?” Stewart asks, sounding amused. “Having a little lemonade and iced tea?” Meanwhile, Jacob has just crawled into Bella’s sleeping bag, which draws Stewart and Pattinson back to the clip. “God, he’s so gross, so brazen!” Pattinson says of Lautner’s werewolf. “I really don’t like Jacob.” “Aww,” Stewart says. “Look at him and his tattoo and stuff. Ugh,” Pattinson mock scoffs. “He’s just young and overzealous,” Stewart says defending the young wolf. “He’s not!” Pattinson insists. “He does it on purpose. He’s looking at me when he’s saying this stuff.” “Yeah, that is weird,” Stewart agrees. “What is wrong with him? He’s like, ‘I don’t even care about her, I just want to,’ ” Pattinson trails off. “Look at him cradling!” Stewart points out, which provokes a burst of laughter from Pattinson. “His little head nooked in there,” she adds. “You look like you’re milking him,” Pattinson says as both “Twilight” actors break out laughing.
