Nelly: I’m Innocent, I Swear I Never Raped Anyone!

Time has not been kind to Nelly. And, if we’re to believe recent accusations against him, Nelly has not been kind to others in return. Early yesterday morning, he was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on his tour bus . He’s currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and the arrest happened a few hours after a show in Washington on Friday night. According to a statement from local police, a woman called 911 at nearly 4:00 AM and reported that Nelly had sexually assaulted her. After officers arrived on the scene and did some investigating, there was apparently enough evidence to make an arrest, and Nelly was taken into custody. There wasn’t enough evidence to hold him though, and a few hours later he was released. His lawyer then made a statement saying that “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation.” “Our initial investigation,” he explained, “clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness.” “I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges.” The lawyer added that “Nelly is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.” So far it’s obviously a pretty serious case of he-said, she-said, right? But now Nelly is speaking on his own behalf. Shortly after the news broke of his arrest, he hopped on Twitter to defend himself. “Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation,” he began. “I am completely innocent.” “I am confident that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am the victim of a false allegation.” “I do want to apologize to my loved ones for the embarrassment and for putting myself in a situation where I could be victimized by this false and defaming allegation,” he wrote. Nelly also thought it was important “to thank my fans for their unwavering support.” “They know me,” he said. “I assure you I will be vindicated. And I assure you, I will pursue every legal option to address this defaming claim.” “Thank you.” And just in case you didn’t follow that statement his lawyer wrote for him, he added “In other words y’all know damm well I ain’t do no dumm S^*t like this..!! Love ..!!!!” About an hour after making those tweets, he logged back on to clear up an extra bit of confusion. “To be absolutely clear,” he wrote, “I have not been charged with a crime therefore no bail was required. I was released, pending further investigation.” At this point, it’s hard to say who’s telling the truth. Nelly and his team could be right, this woman could have made up this whole story. But then again, Nelly could be doing his best to cover up his crimes — let’s be real, it’s not exactly unprecedented for a celebrity to use his fame as a way to prey on women like this. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see how this plays out. View Slideshow: 21 Most Memorable Celebrity Mug Shots of All-Time

Son of Syndicated Radio Host Delilah Commits Suicide

Delilah Rene, a nationally syndicated radio host who specializes in dedicating love songs to fans who call in, broke some awful news to her Facebook followers yesterday: Her son, Zachariah, committed suicide last Tuesday. “My dear friends, I need to share some devastating news with you. In the early morning hours, Tuesday, October 3, my son Zachariah, took his life,” Delilah wrote to her 1.4 million online fans. She went on to give a bit of background on Zachariah’s condition: “He was being treated, counseled, and embraced fiercely by family and friends while battling depression for some time now. “My heart is broken beyond repair and I can not fathom how to go on… but I have to believe he is at peace with the Lord and that God will get us through.” In a January Facebook message, Delilah had said her son was autistic. Zack was one of the host’s 13 children, 10 of whom are adopted. Another child, Sammy, passed away in 2012 due to complications from sickle cell anemia, just two years after she adopted him from a Ghanaian refugee camp in West Africa. This is what she wrote after that personal tragedy: “My son Sammy passed from this world today into heaven, but he left behind a piece of his amazing soul in all that met him. “As painful as this moment is, I am so so so so so thankful that God allowed me, my family and friends to experience the essence of his soul for the past two years. “Everyone who met him was blessed by his big heart, his silly character voices, his wonderful sense of humor and his kindness towards all. “He was a precious, precious young man and I praise the Lord that I was allowed to be bathed in Sammy’s love as his “MommaBear”… “We have been forever changed by having him in our lives.” Delilah is proudly known as the “Queen of Sappy Love Songs.” She has responded to an endless array of requests and dedications throughout her impressive career, as her nightly show is recorded in her home and airs on various stations around the country. “I will be absent from the radio and on social media for a time as I grieve and try to process this loss with my family,” Delilah wrote on Facebook shortly after confirming Zach’s passing. She added: “In the meantime we’ll be playing some of my favorite shows from the recent past. I’ll look forward to my return, as you all lift me up so very much. “Please pray for my beloved Zacky, and I will pray for all suffering from this debilitating disease called depression.” View Slideshow: 24 Stars Who Committed Suicide

You Buyin’? Ricky Rozay “Clarifies” His “U.O.E.N.O” Drug-Induced Sex Assault Lyrics, Praises “Beautiful Queens”

He just dug his grave deeper, and he O.E.N.O it… Rick Ross Explains Drugged Sex Lyrics In “U.O.E.N.O.” Rick Ross has been suffering severe backlash, hate tweets, and even a petition banning his lyrics from the radio as a result of his verse on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” where he makes a reference to having sex with a woman after he had secretly slipped drugs in her drink. During in interview on Q 93.3 in New Orleans, “The Bawse” kicked his side of the story and attempts to make amends for the “miscommunication”. “There’s certain things you can’t tweet. There’s certain things you want people to hear your voice. I want to make sure this is clear, that woman is the most precious gift known to man. You understand? And there was a misunderstanding with a lyric. A misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term “r**e” wasn’t used. I would never used the term “r**e”, ya know, in my records and as far as my camp, hip-hop don’t condone that, the streets don’t condone that, NOBODY condones that. I just wanted to reach out to all the queens that’s on my timeline, the beautiful ladies that had been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding. We don’t condone r**e and I’m not with that.” Again, for those of you who haven’t yet heard Rocko’s increasingly-popular tune, Ross raps: “Put molly all in her champagne, she aint even know it…I took her home and I enjoyed that, she aint even know it” Now, we’re not exactly sure where this supposed “misunderstanding” occured, but it sounds pretty evident that Rozay put the ubiquitous “Molly” in a woman’s drink, and she didn’t know it. Then, took her home, “enjoyed” her, and again she was unaware. Now if we are being unfair let us know, but we don’t see much wiggle-room for alternate interpretations of Ross’ words.
