Shareif Ziyadat/WireImage Meek Mill’s Son Joined Lil Uzi Onstage In Philly As you all know, Meek Mill is currently serving two to four years in state prison after being found guilty of violating probation. On Friday night, however, his presence was definitely felt in Philadelphia during Lil Uzi Vert’s show with Tidal, “A Very Uzi Xmas.” As a fellow Philadelphian, Lil Uzi Vert used his homecoming show to include Meek’s son Papi as one of the ubiquitous guests performances throughout the concert. Papi looked shy as he sang along and held his mic toward the audience while he hit the stage with Uzi for “Dreams & Nightmares (Intro).” Lil Uzi Vert brought out Meek Mill's son, Papi, for “Dreams And Nightmares” in Philly pic.twitter.com/zuXaHF7D1n — LIL UZI VERT (@LUVTheAlbum) December 23, 2017 Papi didn’t exactly look like he loved being onstage too much, but once the mic got out of his hands he looked a lot more comfortable mouthing every word of his dad’s popular song. Lil Uzi Vert also got supporting appearances from Pharrell , Nicki Minaj, Playboi Carti and ASAP Ferg in front of a huge crowd of dedicated fans at Philadelphia’s Liacouras Center.

He just dug his grave deeper, and he O.E.N.O it… Rick Ross Explains Drugged Sex Lyrics In “U.O.E.N.O.” Rick Ross has been suffering severe backlash, hate tweets, and even a petition banning his lyrics from the radio as a result of his verse on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” where he makes a reference to having sex with a woman after he had secretly slipped drugs in her drink. During in interview on Q 93.3 in New Orleans, “The Bawse” kicked his side of the story and attempts to make amends for the “miscommunication”. “There’s certain things you can’t tweet. There’s certain things you want people to hear your voice. I want to make sure this is clear, that woman is the most precious gift known to man. You understand? And there was a misunderstanding with a lyric. A misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term “r**e” wasn’t used. I would never used the term “r**e”, ya know, in my records and as far as my camp, hip-hop don’t condone that, the streets don’t condone that, NOBODY condones that. I just wanted to reach out to all the queens that’s on my timeline, the beautiful ladies that had been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding. We don’t condone r**e and I’m not with that.” Again, for those of you who haven’t yet heard Rocko’s increasingly-popular tune, Ross raps: “Put molly all in her champagne, she aint even know it…I took her home and I enjoyed that, she aint even know it” Now, we’re not exactly sure where this supposed “misunderstanding” occured, but it sounds pretty evident that Rozay put the ubiquitous “Molly” in a woman’s drink, and she didn’t know it. Then, took her home, “enjoyed” her, and again she was unaware. Now if we are being unfair let us know, but we don’t see much wiggle-room for alternate interpretations of Ross’ words. Are you buying what Rick Ross is selling??? Image via YouTube

“Please do not text during the movie because it makes everyone… Psycho .” In a new anti-texting PSA, Alfred Hitchcock (by way of Anthony Hopkins, star of the upcoming Hitchcock ) warns theatergoers against violating the tacit code of conduct implicit in any movie theater — using your darn phone during the film — or else . It’s a bit left field, but fun — and, more importantly, a message worth spreading throughout the land. I loathe movie disruptors of all kinds (talkers, texters, knee jigglers, seat kickers) with a burning passion and these mindless miscreants have only multiplied with the ubiquitous rise of cell phones and technology and ADD attention spans. (Check out venerable blogger Dennis Cozzalio’s infuriating account of the dunce-headed woman he encountered texting during a recent screening of Frankenweenie .) The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin has stepped up to defend moviegoers’ rights in the cell phone wars — that is, the rights of those paying customers in a theater to not have to deal with the obnoxious few who chatter or use their phones in a movie. Their epic anti-talking PSA became legend last year (below); Drafthouse theaters play an assortment of custom-filmed videos to remind audiences to kindly shut the hell up, or risk being kicked out. The new video by the makers of Hitchcock (which despite being sent around by the film’s PR reps appears to have been captured on a cell phone camera and uploaded to YouTube by a random fan, problematically enough) reminds me of Lars von Trier’s short Occupations , which I first saw via the Drafthouse folks: Occupations – short film by Lars von Trier by vahea So, yeah. Shut up and turn off your phones. Hitchcock may not have been the first to lobby for theater etiquette (he died a few good decades before texting became a thing) but the contribution is most appreciated. If Hitch was still around, I’d like to think he’d have scared the 4G out of a movie texter or two. Follow Jen Yamato on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .

Singer announces that he’s teamed up with Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin and Max Martin for his latest album. By Jocelyn Vena Usher Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images On his Diplo-produced slow jam, Usher took fans to the “Climax” and gave them and a sensually searing tease to his upcoming album, Looking for Myself. On Friday (March 30), Usher announced that along with Diplo, he also teamed up with Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin and Max Martin on the album, due June 11. He’s expected to release both a standard and deluxe version of the album. Looking for Myself is the follow-up to 2010’s Raymond v. Raymond , which launched mega-singles like the ubiquitous will.i.am-produced “OMG,” as well as “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home),” “Lil Freak,” “There Goes My Baby” and “More.” He also maintained radio presence thanks to his inescapable collaboration with David Guetta, “Without You,” in 2011. “He has very specific ideas of where he wants to go musically and sound-wise,” “Without You” collaborator Taio Cruz told MTV News about Usher’s next release. “He always wants there to be the soul in there. I’m kind of, not the opposite, but I’m always like, ‘Let’s get straight to the point and be really clear with the message and be simple.’ So we try to match those two worlds together: being soulful and, at the same time, catchy,” Given their work on “Without You,” that may give fans an idea of what the twosome have up their sleeves for Looking For Myself. “I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I’ve actually been on in the last three years,” Usher said about that song and how it relates to his musical philosophy. “Traveling all around the world, music sounds different. There’s many different genres, and when you see R&B and pop and house, as well as electronic, come together, that’s the reality of what music is.” What do you hope to hear on Looking for Myself. ? Last night in New York, Nicki Minaj , The Throne , and Maroon 5, along with “The Voice” judge Adam Levine, hit the stage during the Victoria’s Secret fashion show to liven up the crowd. As usual, Nicki showed up in some epileptic seizure-inducing outfit complete with neon colors while making weird faces, Kanye wore his favorite pair of blood-pressure-cuff-tight leather pants, Adam Levine probably could have worn MORE clothes, and Hov kept it OG with his ubiquitous “all black everything” Flip the script to see the flicks.

Venice is a city of lions. There’s the ubiquitous winged lion, the symbol of Saint Mark, seen everywhere in statuary and on banners. Last night, outside the Casino, one of the main buildings of the festival complex, I saw a winged lion statue, about 12 feet off the ground, with a single wine glass perched delicately if a bit precariously atop one of his meaty paws, left behind by some meticulous reveler. Other lions have no wings but appear not to mind much, standing guard at church entrances, outside restaurants or at the center of neighborhood squares. And everywhere you look, there are smaller lion faces gazing back at you: Some have important and obvious jobs to do, holding door-knockers or doorbells in their mouths. Others are free to simply be themselves, but all seem intent on keeping an eye on things.
