Victoria Jones: Leah Messer’s Younger Sister is Pregnant!

Well, she missed the lucrative, but ultimately soul-crushing Teen Mom boat, but fortunately Leah Messer’s sister Victoria Jones realizes that reality TV fame isn’t the only reason to bring life into the world. 21-year-old Jones announced today that she’s expecting her first child. Hopefully, Leah didn’t nod off when she shared the news with her family. Just kidding, Leah!  “Looks like I’m gonna be a Mommy!” Victoria posted on Facebook today. “I’ve waited so long for this, I’m glad I get to share this with my husband.” Ouch. Someone’s like someone’s rubbing Leah’s two divorces in her face. Fact: all adult siblings are masters of passive-aggressive competition. Victoria also posted a photo of the positive pregnancy test (In case we didn’t believe her?) and suggested come possible names. Apparently, the frontrunners are Addrianna Jean Jones or Joshua Eugene Jones. Hey, either way she can just call the kid “Jean/Gene.” Sounds like Victoria is all about simplifying her life, unlike Leah, who’s all about making her life as complex and terrible as possible. If you haven’t been keeping up, Leah’s latest bad decision was biting the hand that feeds her by criticizing MTV for making her look like a drug addict on Teen Mom. These days post-rehab Leah is reportedly healthier than ever, but when she was at her worst, we don’t imagine it took much editing to make Ms. Messer look like a mess. Anyway, congrats to Victoria and her husband! Now start trying to score a spinoff! View Slideshow: Leah Messer Bad Parenting Excuse Hall of Fame

Jeb Bush to Run For President in 2016 … Says Nicolle Wallace!

Jeb Bush will run for U.S. President in 2016 … according to former George W. Bush communications director turned The View co-host Nicolle Wallace! Nicolle Wallace: Jeb Bush 2016! “I’m so excited that Jeb Bush is running,” Wallace said of the 2016 election in an interview with The Insider ’s Debbie Matenopoulos on Thursday. “He really sort of shaped my views of what a conservative can be and is, and the problems they can solve and how they can solve them differently.” “I hope he’s successful. I hope he wins the nomination. I hope he wins the White House. But I’m going to be cheering for him from here,” she added. By that, Wallace meant that while she “would do anything” for the Bush family, she has no intention of leaving her post to work in the White House. Jeb Bush 2016 talk has been constant since … well, the 2012 election results were announced, and he is among the frontrunners in many polls. But the Republican ex-Governor of Florida and brother of George W. Bush has not officially announced his candidacy yet. So … thank you Nicolle? If this was his de facto entry into the race, he probably imagined it happening in a slightly different way. But hey, you gotta start somewhere right? Assuming he really is planning a bid to become the third Bush president in the last five, Jeb faces some stiff opposition within the GOP. Popular U.S. Sens. Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have all announced their candidacies to succeed Barack Obama this spring. Many other big names are mulling candidacies for the Republicans as well, ensuring a crowded, hard-fought campaign this year and next. For the Democrats, Hillary Clinton is the heavy favorite, but got her first challenger yesterday when U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders announced he will run. Have you noticed that there seems to be a revolving door at the top of the GOP presidential polls? First it was Michele Bachmann , replaced shortly by Rick Perry , only to be supplanted by Herman Cain and/or Mitt Romney (depending on the poll you are reading.) You know who else has noticed this? Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough who repeated his “flavor of the month” mantra in an entertaining exhibition… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Mediaite Discovery Date : 13/10/2011 14:46 Number of articles : 2

Selena Gomez Picks Justin Bieber Over Drake For Best New Artist Grammy

‘I hope [Bieber] wins, but I love Drake as well,’ she tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting Audrey Kim Selena Gomez Photo: Angela Weiss/ Getty Images Selena Gomez may not be up for a Grammy this year, but she was on hand at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live special last week, where she helped announce the Song of the Year nominees alongside Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl. While that category may have some strong contenders, the Best New Artist category will certainly have everyone buzzing come Grammy night in February. Acts like Florence and the Machine, Mumford & Sons and Esperanza Spalding are in the running, but the frontrunners seem to be two of America’s favorite Canadians: Justin Bieber and Drake . So who does Gomez want to win? “I would have to say Bieber just because I know how hard he works,” she told MTV News at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2010 in Los Angeles over the weekend. “I hope he wins, but I love Drake as well. It’s a really hard category so I don’t know who’s going to win, but of course I have to say Bieber.” Drake may be facing off against Bieber at the Grammys, but Gomez will face off against her pal at the People’s Choice Awards in the Favorite Breakout Artist category. The other contenders include B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Ke$ha. But Gomez, who is nominated with her band the Scene, doesn’t think she has a chance. “I’m not going to win that, especially if it’s People’s Choice,” she said. “I’ve completely accepted the fact that I will not be taking that one home, but I’m very excited to be nominated.” Related Photos 2011 Grammy Awards Nominees: Hits And Misses 2010 Jingle Ball Kicks Off In Los Angeles Related Artists Selena Gomez Drake Justin Bieber

‘King’s Speech’ Star Colin Firth Talks Awards-Season Love And ‘Dumb Luck’

2010 best actor nominee looks poised for another Oscar nod. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Colin Firth in “The King’s Speech” Photo: The Weinstein Company For the second year in a row, Colin Firth finds himself at the center of awards-season chatter. And after losing out on a best actor Oscar for “A Single Man,” the 50-year-old actor has again established himself as one of the frontrunners in that category, thanks to his turn as the stammer-afflicted King George VI on the verge of Britain’s entry into World War II in “The King’s Speech.” It seems Firth is an actor at the top of his game, but to hear him tell it, it’s as much a matter of good fortune as it is great talent. “It’s just dumb luck,” he told MTV News at the Toronto film festival in September. “That’s all: Just getting a crack at it. Sometimes you just take roles to stay in the game or pay bills and hope the good ones are going to come along. “I was never in a world of perfect choice, and now I feel like I’ve had a couple of real plums landing in my hand,” he added. It was at fall film festivals in Toronto and Telluride, Colorado, as critics first began to catch screenings of “King’s Speech,” that it became clear we’d still be talking about Firth’s performance come awards season. He’s been faithfully making the publicity rounds ever since, and as he told us when we chatted earlier this month in New York, he’s not bored with the experience. “Funnily enough, I find it easier than many things,” he said. “There are so many angles you can approach it from, to do with the way people are reacting to it to the surprises we’ve had along the way to nuances about the actual history itself. I think this has a lot of mileage in it. “It’s been very gratifying for audiences to have howls of laughter and be open to crying,” he continued. “To see that happening in the same film is a triumphant feeling. When you’re in Telluride, you can put it down to altitude — one glass of wine amounts to 10. So we had to test it at sea level as well to see if people enjoyed it, and they did.” Did you see Firth’s performance as King George VI? Give us your review in the comments below.
