Tori Roloff: Caught Drinking While Pregnant?!?

Tori Roloff has thus far managed to pull off the near-impossible. She’s reached impressive heights of popularity (over one million Instagram followers!) without ever really being involved in a controversy. Really, think about it… it’s true. You need to search far and wide and try really hard to track down any sort of scandalous situation centered on the Little People, Big World cast member. One time a few trolls tried to mom-shame Tori because they thought her son wasn’t wearing a life jacket out on the water —  but they were quickly proven wrong . Now, however, some folks think they’ve done  it. They think they’ve tracked it down. They think they’ve come across a photo that is legitimately damaging to the reality, from which they think she’ll never recover. Indeed, they think they’ve caught TORI ROLOFF DRINKING WHILE PREGNANT. And they think this because they only took a quick glance at the Instagram photo below: Here’s the thing, however: Tori may be expecting. And she may be sucking down a beverage in this snapshot.  But there’s no alcohol in it. The TLC personality shared this photo on Tuesday, but immediately shut down her potential critics and haters while doing so. “Mama drinks (hers is a mocktail, don’t worry),” wrote Tori as a caption to the image, putting an end to any sort of controversy before it can even begin. Seriously: she’s good, isn’t she? In late June, Roloff was forced to delete an Instgram post in which she wrote about her parenting philopshy after some of followers took issue with her thoughts on raising kids and spoiling them. “If you raise your kids, you get to spoil your grandkids,” the post began. “If you spoil your kids, you’ll end up raising your grandkids.” She continued at the time: “Just a thought. I really think my generation has made it more important to be their kids’ best friend and not help guide and support their kids with boundaries and structure. “I know we’re all doing the best we can, but disciplining kiddos is essential to becoming a good citizen, not a taboo. Spoil with love.” Yes, for someone as sweet and innocent as Tori Roloff, this qualified as polarizing. Tori and husband Zach confirmed in mid-May that son Jackson was on the verge of getting a sibling. They also confirmed the gender of this sibling and the time around which she is expected to arrive. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” they said this spring. We’ve since learned that the baby is due around Thanksgiving. We cannot wait to meet her… and we cannot wait to stare at ridiculously adorable baby bump photos along the way. Judge Rules Flo Rida Must Pony Up For Son’s Autism Therapy (Exclusive)

Source: Jeff Hahne / Getty Rapper Appears By Phone In Court Over Toddler Son’s Care After Autism Diagnosis A judge has denied Flo Rida’s baby mama’s request for more child support for their son’s expenses related to his autism therapy but ruled that the rapper must timely reimburse her for out of pocket costs. Lawyers for both Flo Rida and his son’s mother Alexis Adams were in court Friday where Adams’ lawyer asked for a child support increase in order to pay for their son’s medical needs and ongoing therapy after doctors diagnosed the boy as being on the autism spectrum earlier this year. Adams’ lawyer Ava Gutfriend argued that the insurance that the boy currently has doesn’t allow for out of network coverage, dental visits and ophthalmology, leaving Adams to pay the difference out of pocket, which she said can run into thousands of dollars. And when she’s given the receipts to Flo’s legal team, he’s taken up to a year to pay her back, Gutfriend said. But Flo Rida’s lawyer Howard Felcher said the “Welcome To My House” rapper never has never been in court for violating the support order and covered “100 percent” of his son’s needs. In the end, the judge said the lawyers should confer and come up with a system where Adams submits the boy’s unreimbursed medical bills to Flo Rida and he has to pay it in full within a set period of time. Both sides are due back in court in the fall.

Khloe Kardashian Claps Back at Mom-Shamers: I CHOOSE to Spoil My Daughter!

When it comes to fending off Internet haters, Khloe Kardashian is no shrinking violet. She’s a pro’s pro. When it’s an issue she cares about, Khloe is totally willing to defend herself and set the record straight with HER TRUTH . Khloe did just that this weekend after she came under fire from mom-shamers accusing her of spoiling her daughter True. Khloe is known for lavishing her affection on True with the sweetest presents, outfits, and parties. It may seem a little excessive, but that’s the Kardashian way.  On Saturday Khlow posted an Instagram video of True checking out her latest gift, a brand new car! Okay, so it’s not a real car. But it is pink, and sparkly, and pratty dang cute. True is now the proud owner of a toy Bently GT convertable, made by Luxury Kids Car Club. Their website describes their products as “Ultra Exclusive Cars For Kids.” Starting at $2,000, and with a ton of pricey optional features, this toy Bentley could easily cost more than a lot of people’s actual car. As the wage gap in this country soars ever onward to terrifying new heights, it makes sense that some found Khloe’s gift a bit tasteless. But this was on social media, so in lieu of respectful discussions, we get sanctimonious lectures from mom-shamers. “Great, another Kardashian in a Bentley,” wrote one angry commentor. “You are so oblivious to how your spending looks to the outside world,” the commentor went on. “I really loved your family’s story,” they added, “and now just can’t bare to watch as you spend all this money on worthless materialism.” “It’s so sad,” the commentor concluded. Khloe must have felt pretty attacked by this to respond at all, but when she did, she responded with a poise and grace she isn’t always able to muster . “Umm, you know this is not a real Bentley?” Khloe replied, “It’s a toy.” “No reason to get sad over a baby in a toy car,” she asserted. “Either way I’m sorry you feel that way,” Khloe added. Trying to keep things positive, she went on, “I hope you have a great weekend!” “Focus on things that make you happy! Smile,” she concluded, adding a smiley face emoji. The mom-shamer apparently appreciated Khloe’s tact, because their next response took a much friendlier tone. “Appreciate you responding,” they wrote, “Just figured it’s something to be thinking about.” The commentor continued, “You have so much influence and know you’ve had a positive impact on so many.” The concluded, “Always ways we can improve as people, though – myself 100% included.” Look at that newfound respect! Khloe responded once more, to share her truth about spoling her daughter. “I appreciate this message more than your first,” she began, adding that she was also able to better digest the commentor’s point. “I hear you,” she said. But she didn’t quite agree, countering “I personally don’t believe that all we do is spend money on worthless materialsim.” Khloe went on to explain that she can sleep well at night because she knows she is a good person, and “Life is all about balance.” “Yes, I do choose to spoil my daughter,” Khloe admitted, both “with love and as well as with material items.” But Khloe concluded “She will also be raised with values, responsibilities, chores, respect, self love.” It seems like Khloe knows that it’s not just about gifts with kids. There are important lessons we must pass down to our children.  But, gifts are nice too. And if you can totally spoil your child and still raise them to be a good human being, more power to you! Khloe handled this hater really well, and turned the interaction into something almost friendly. This is a great example of how we can forge new connections by responding to negativity with kindness. It doesn’t always work, and it’s important to recognize those moments too when they come up. But it’s so nice to see an Internet clap-back turn into a chance for two strangers to understand each other a bit better. View Slideshow: Keeping Up with the Kardashians Finale: Khloe Goes KABOOM!

Jana & John David Duggar: Did They Make a Pact to Marry For Love?

When John David Duggar married Abbie Burnett back in November of 2018, the ceremony and reception differed from the usual Duggar nuptial events in a number of important ways. The most obvious departure, of course, was the age of the participants. John David is 29; Abbie is 27. That’s certainly not an unusually old age at which to get married — unless you’re a Duggar. You see, the Duggars are taught from a young age that their primary objective in life is to marry young and make a whole lot of babies. The family belongs to the Quiverfull movement, subsect of evangelicals who believe that it’s every Christians duty to birth as many believers as possible in order to shape governmental policy, create communities, and essentially overwhelm the Earth. By waiting until his (very) late twenties in order to tie the knot, John David cost himself a solid decade’s worth of procreation years. (It’s not uncommon for Duggars to start families while still in their teens.) Of course, John David is not alone in his decision to take much, much longer than his siblings in his search for love. John’s twin, Jana Duggar, is still single , and looks like she’ll remain that way as she centers her thirties. Jana and John David have broken with custom in a big way in their decision not to enter the “courtship” process in their teens or early twenties. And some fans think it’s no coincidence that the famously close twins both made the choice to wait. It’s widely believed that some Duggar kids marry the first person to come along simply because they know that’s what’s expected of them. Many of the fans who subscribe to that theory also believe that John David and Jana made a pact at a young age — no matter what happened, they would only marry if they actually fell in love. That brings us back to John David and Abbie Burnett’s wedding. Many noted that it was a much livelier affair than the typical Duggar ceremony, complete with airplane theme to celebrate John David’s love of aviation. John David and Abbie celebrated five months together  last week, and they marked the occasion by paying loving tribute to one another on social media. They continue to commemorate their romance by posting loving selfies on their shared Instagram page on an almost-daily basis. What we’re saying is, John David and Abbie appear to be very much in love. We’re not saying, necessarily, that the other married Duggar kids are not in love with their partners, but we are saying it’s quite clear that JD and Abbie are not stuck in some awkward arrangement. It’s been widely speculated that Jana is resentful of her brother’s marriage because she’s now alone as the oldest unmarried Duggar. But we can imagine a scenario in which she looks at her brother’s happiness as a sign of hope and an indication that she made the right call by refusing to settle. Jenny Mollen Reveals She Dropped 5-Year-Old Son, Fracturing His Skull

Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are one of those celebrity couples who are more focused on parenting these days than on making headlines. But Jenny has come forward to share that their family has experienced every parent’s nightmare. Jenny revealed that she dropped their 5-year-old son on his head, resulting in a skull fracture. Alongside one of her many redacted photos that give her children a semblance of privacy, Jenny Mollen shared a horror story. “On Saturday evening,” Jenny begins. “I dropped my son on his head.” She is speaking of her 5-year-old son, Sid. She says that he fell, “causing him to fracture his skull.” Skull fractures can be fatal or lead to lifelong complications, even behavioral problems that manifest in adulthood. “And,” she adds, the injury resulted in Sid “landing him in the ICU.” “I am forever grateful to Lenox hill downtown and @nyphospital,” Jenny expresses. “For their immediate response and aid.” She then gushes about her appreciation for absolutely every professional, on every level, who helped in this crisis. “Thank you,” she writes. “To all of the nurses, neurologists, pediatricians, residents, cafeteria staff, and brave women that keep the visitor‘s bathrooms clean.” “Not sure how this post turned into an Oscars acceptance speech…” Jenny admits, roasting herself a little. Once the critical moments of a crisis has passed, it can be very healthy to deflect with humor. “But @biggsjason Thank god for you!” she writes to and of her husband. “Thank god, thank god, thank god.” “It has been a traumatic week,” Jenny affirms. We would certainly imagine so. “But,” Jenny says. “Sid is home now.” Her post continues, and she makes it clear that her 5-year-old son is “taking things slowly.” “And,” she notes, he is thankfully “recovering nicely.” Jenny then shares some news that indicates that Sid seems to be doing just fine. “He is also eating a lot of chocolate dipped ice cream cones,” she shares. “And,” Jenny adds, her son “plans to try cherry dipped soon.” Jenny expresses: “My heart goes out to all parents who have or will ever find themselves in this kind of position.” “You are not alone,” she affirms. Jenny’s story struck a chord with a lot of moms — including some of her fellow celebrities, like Jessica Alba and Krysten Ritter. A number of commenters came forward to assure Jenny that this horrific nightmare happens more often than people think. Jenny seems to know that — which is why she chose to share the story. Her fans and followers may take comfort in knowing that, if this happened in their own pasts, they’re not the only parents who’ve done that. At the same time, if Jenny’s story makes any other parents extra careful with their kids, that certainly can’t hurt. Hopefully, no one will ever be rude enough to ask Sid “what, were you dropped on your head as a child?” Because the answer is literally yes. Unfortunately, that phrase comes from this all-too-common accident. Loving, attentive parents can drop their kids. The result can be anything from a bruise to death. We sincerely hope that Sid avoids any long-term consequences for this tragic accident. And though a lot of identified serial killers suffered a massive head trauma as a child, we hope that no one makes insensitive jokes about Sid. He’s literally a child. Please be nice.

Farrah Abraham Accused of Being a Prostitute, Showing Off Botched Butt Injections

Another day, another reminder that Farrah Abraham is one of the most ridiculous human beings on the planet. As you may have heard, Farrah appears to be broke these days. That hasn't stopped her from taking lavish vacations or spending all her time on social media, but it has led to some wild rumors about how she's paying the bills (and affording all her cosmetic procedures). Of course, this is Farrah we're talking about — which means no theory should be counted out as too bonkers to be true. Take a look at the latest: 1. Farrah Being Farrah Farrah has been a trainwreck from the time she first entered the spotlight. But to be fair, she usually keeps it fresh. 2. A True Artist There’s really no predicting what sort of batsh-t behavior she’ll engage in next. It’s almost impressive. Almost. 3. On Her Grind As usual, Farrah is doing all kinds of desperate things in her never-ending quest for money — but even fans who have been observing her behavior for years couldn’t have predicted that Farrah would get THIS hard-up. 4. The Master Is In For one thing, Farrah is offering online lessons in business management as part of the formerly-reputable Master Class series. 5. Child Management — Not the Best Idea She landed the gig despite the fact that at least three of businesses ventures have failed in the past 18 months, including the children’s boutique that was managed by Farrah’s daughter, Sophia. 6. Too Much Irony Hilariously, it looks as though several class “modules” were filmed at FroCo, Farrah’s now-defunct frozen yogurt chain. View Slideshow

Beyonce Details "Extremely Difficult" Pregnancy, Dangerous Delivery

It’s always a big deal when Beyonce talks about her family. And it’s an even bigger deal when Beyonce reveals photos of her family . So you can imagine the excitement that swept the Internet and the nation at large after Netflix released Homecoming today, the documentary that took viewers behind the scenes of Beyonce’s legendary Coachella performance in 2018 . While talking about the rehearsing and general lifestyle changes she needed to make in order to take the stage at that festival last spring, Beyonce also opened way up about her second pregnancy for the first time. She spoke in stark and very personal detail about growing Sir and Rumi in her womb. “My body went through more than I knew it could,” the beloved artist said, noting she grew to 218 pounds toward the end of her pregnancy and that she developed high blood pressure and toxemia along the way. (Toxemia, also known as preeclampsia, is a pregnancy condition that causes high blood pressure and can lead to serious complications.) When it came time to deliver, one of the baby’s heartbeat paused several times, Beyonce says in the film, spurring her to have an emergency C-section. Scary stuff. And also very real stuff to which numerous women around the world can relate. In another candid segment of her documentary, Beyonce says she was scheduled to perform at Coachella in 2017. What happened? Why was she forced to skip this concert at the time? “I got pregnant unexpectedly,” she says in Homecoming, as footage of her showing off her baby bump plays in the background. “And it ended up being twins which was even more of a surprise.” We think this is the first time Beyonce has confessed that she wasn’t planning on giving Blue Ivy any siblings — but that, hey, even global superstars make these sorts of “mistakes.” Following the birth of her twins, Beyonce’s Coachella performance marked her major return to the stage, but it did not come easily. “There were days that I thought I’d never be the same,” she explains, adding that she cut out carbs, sugar, alcohol, dairy, meat and fish in order to get back into shape. “My body was not connected. My mind was not there,” she goes on to say of preparing for last year’s Coachella performance. “My mind wanted to be with my children.” In the documentary, the celebrity notes she would breastfeed in her trailer in between rehearsing and bring the kids when she could. “What people don’t see is the sacrifice.” Beyonce also acknowledges that it takes a “village” to make a production such as her Coachella set come off as well as it does. She knows she’s lucky. She knows she’s rich and famous and as popular as nearly anyone on the planet. But she also has the same concerns as other parents and set out to perform at Coachella for one key reason: “I feel we made something that made my daughter proud, made my mother proud, my father proud, all of the people that are my brothers and sisters around the world and that’s why I live. “I’m so lucky and grateful that I’m able to take all these crazy ideas and actually make it into something that heals people and that may spark vision in people, that shows them to dream big, that shows them that they are limitless. “It’s possible. If my country ass can do it, they can do it.”

All Tea, All Shade: Dr. Dre Gets Cocky About His Daughter Being Accepted Into USC “All On Her Own”

Source: Karwai Tang / Getty Dr. Dre & His Daughter Brag About Her USC Acceptance Dr. Dre isn’t the type of artist who posts everything he does on social media, but he’ll always share when he’s in the middle of a proud fatherhood moment. In the midst of the huge college admissions scandal that’s rocking the nation, high school seniors all over the country are receiving their acceptance letters to their dream schools. One of those students just so happens to be Dr. Dre’s daughter, Truly Young, who just got accepted into USC….what serendipitous timing, eh? The music mogul posted a photo of him and his daughter holding up her certificate of admission with the caption, “My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own. No jail time!!!” You can’t really blame Dre for his troll, because the opportunity was just too perfect. Fellow celebrities Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin are facing criminal charges for allegedly paying to get their kids into prestigious schools–and USC just so happens to be the school at the center of the scandal. Even though Dr. Dre and his daughter are sure that her merit and hard work is what got her into USC’s film school, a lot of people have begun calling out the producer for being hypocritical. Back in 2013, Dre and his business partner Jimmy Iovine founded the Jimmy Iovine And Andre Young Academy, donating millions of dollars to the college. There also happens to be an entire hall on USC’s campus named after the two. With that being said, actually donating money and building halls, libraries, etc. on campus has been the legal way rich people have been getting their kids into college for decades–so even though Dr. Dre’s daughter might have had a big leg up, at least they didn’t do anything illegal.

Momo Challenge Urges Kids to Harm Themselves. Don’t Let Them.

The Momo Challenge is here, and it makes the Tide Pod challenge look like a parent's dream. A horrifying image appears in children's videos and on their messaging apps, instructing them to harm themselves and others or even to commit suicide. And the worst thing is that it's been going on for much longer than anyone realized. Our nightmares have a new face. Reports have been circulating about a “challenge” appearing on WhatsApp and YouTube and targeted at young children. Children will watch a YouTube video that appears to be a children's television program and they will see Momo during a jarring intermission. Alternatively, they will simply seek out Momo on a messaging app like WhatsApp. A scary face frightening children is only the beginning, however. “Momo” then challenges children, sometimes in stages. Ultimately, this challenge — like some other disturbing pranks played on children — can cause them to harm themselves. Some of these messages include instructions on how to commit suicide. Others are even more insidiious. One of the reports circulating on social media said that children were instructed by “Momo” to turn on a gas stove while everyone is asleep. That report was not confirmed, but sends chills down people's spines. The first reports of this challenge arose in the summer of 2018. So why haven't children been raising the alarm? Why are most people only hearing about it now? For one thing, the children who are targeted are the youngest demographics, usually with ages in the single digits. But most significantly, some of the Momo material threatens to hurt or kill the parents of children who tell. Since this story began circulating, we've also seen stories of parents asking their children about it, only to have the children burst into tears of fear and relief. Little kids rarely have the life experience or perspective to understand when a threat is or is not plausible. There is no doubt that the Momo Challenge has scared the pants off of plenty of people, including young children and concerned parents. There is, however, good news. As multiple outlets have reported after taking a good, hard look at the story, there's less danger than there appears. While a small number of international deaths have been “linked to” Momo, there is no proof that they died because of the challenge. In fact, Forbes reports that this story has spread out of proportion among worried parents, not unlike past viral pranks. It's not that no one ever ate Tide Pods or that no teen has ever ingested hand sanitizer in an effort to get drunk. It's just that people perceive it as having happened much more than it actually did. Parenting experts recommend that parents use this as an opportunity to talk to their children about dangers on the internet. This includes strangers, pranks, and the “challenge culture” that infests parts of social media. It's also a good idea for parents to reconsider giving very young children unfiltered access to YouTube. We would make a radical suggestion that parents spend time around their wee ones so that they can always see or at least hear what they're watching. You know what's really sad? The face seen as “Momo” is originally a sculpture by an artist named Midori Hayashi. It's a fine piece, and was never meant to be used like this.
