Empire Season 2: When Will It Premiere?

Ready for a second helping of Cookie? Fox has announced a premiere date for Empire Season 2 , which will be comprised of 18 total episodes and broken into two nine-episode halves. And the first one will air on Wednesday, September 23 at 9/8c. Empire Season 1 shattered ratings records for Fox, doing the nearly impossible by actually gaining viewers for nine consecutive weeks. We already know that a trio of special guest stars will stop by at some point this fall. They include comedian Chris Rock, R&B superstar Alicia Keys and rock legend Lenny Kravitz. It’s unclear, however, whether these celebrities will be portraying themselves. Elsewhere, Gabourey Sidibe (Becky) and Ta’Rhonda Jones (Porsha), who portray the underlings of Lucious and Cookie, have both been upped to series regular status for Season 2. The host just opened up in a very different way.  During a discussion about online dating sites and the concept of casual sex, Goldberg felt a need to get something off her chest – and that something was this: Sometimes she just wants a guy on her chest! “There’s a difference between a relationship and sex,” she explained. “There’s a big difference! Sometimes all you want is sex, okay?” But Whoopi wasn't finished going all TMI on the audience: “I don’t mind a hit-and-run because I don’t want to have your kids. I don’t want to meet your family. I just want to get laid!” Amen, Whoop. Amen.

When I first saw these pictures of Kate Hudson at the amfAR Inspiration Gala, I thought maybe she’d finally been inspired to get that new set of boobs I always used to hear rumors about. The Social Network Will Open the New York Film Festival, New Full-Length Trailer Coming Soon

You know that new second teaser for The Social Network that you keep chasing around the internet like some game of Whack-a-Mole, trying to catch before Sony pulls it down? Well as the studio told Movieline, that teaser — which is awesome, for those who haven’t been lucky in tracking it down — is actually exclusive to the New York Film Festival. And hey, look at that: The Social Network is going to open the New York Film Festival on September 24 , a full week before it opens nationwide. Fear not, though: you’re about to get something new much sooner than that.
