Earlier this week, Urban Outfitters was forced to issue an apology and pull a sweatshirt off its shelves that it dubbed “vintage.” For what reason? The sweatshirt represented Kent State University and most definitely looked like it had blood splattered all over it, a clear reference to the tragic shootings in May of 1970 that claimed four lives on campus. Yeah. Urban Outfitters actually went there. For some reason. And Urban Outfitters has gone there many times in the past, as this company has become infamous for some seriously scandalous articles of clothing. It’s often been joined by retailers Zara and American Apparel, both of whom should be ashamed of some of their creations. References to the Nazis? To mental illness? To… a bloody vagina ?!? Why did these companies include these controversies on their clothing? To make headlines, we suppose. Rumors of  Ariana Grande’s insane diva behavior have been making the rounds online lately, and the “Problem” singer has mainly kept quiet on the subject. Ariana Grande has only been an A-list pop star for a few months, but she’s reportedly already developed certain diva-like habits. Insiders say Ariana insists on being photographed on her left side, she has insanely specific hair and makeup demands, and even instructs production crews on what sort of light they should use when they film her. It all brings to mind another famously demanding pop princess – but don’t dare compare Ariana to Mariah Carey. Yes, before  Mariah’s split with Nick Cannon began making tabloid headlines, the iconic songstress earned the contempt of Ariana fans following reports that she’d thrown subtle shade at Grande during an interview. Asked about Ariana in a radio interview, Mariah first replied, “Who?” before adding, “I wish everyone the best of luck and if this is the career path they choose, I wish them longevity.” Many took it as Mariah’s way of suggesting that Ariana is a flash in the pan. 2014 Emmy Awards Fashion: Best & Worst Dressed

It was a night filled with movie stars, baby bumps, unexpected makeout sessions and… oh, right, some awards as well. The 2014 Emmys aired live from Los Angeles last night, with Seth Meyers dutifully handling hosting duties and Billy Crystal paying emotional tribute to his late friend Robin Williams. Breaking Bad killed in the Drama category, Modern Family somehow won the big trophy again in the Comedy category and Sarah Silverman showed off her boobs on the red carpet. Hayden Panettiere also showed off her expecting tummy, while Lena Dunham showed off some kind of weird outfit and Matthew McConaughey showed off his chiseled good looks. Big Sean to Ariana Grande: I’m More Than Proud of You!

Now that an eagle-eyed MTV cameraman caught Big Sean and Ariana Grande holding hands and basically confirmed that they’re dating, there’s no sense hiding it. Case in point: He’s giving her a very public shout-out! The rapper took to Instagram to congratulate his girlfriend on the success of her new album My Everything, which hit stores right after the 2014 MTV VMAs . “Ari’s #1 in 80 countries! So great when good things happen to good people. I’m more than proud of you…” Sean wrote along with a photo of the album cover. Ariana and Sean have been heating up since breaking up with Jai Brooks and Naya Rivera, respectively, and working together on her song “Best Mistake.” He’s also the infamous whispering voice on “Problem.” “They have been friends since they made the song together,” a source said. “They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close.” The ” Bang Bang ” singer and Sean are “doing great.” The hot couple seemingly confirmed their romance Sunday during the aforementioned holding of hands, and Sean’s Instagram post erases any doubt. Here’s hoping it lasts, and she doesn’t get engaged to him, only to keep the wedding plans and marry some other guy three months after they break up! When songbird Ariana Grande released her new song “Break Free,” a lot of attention was paid to its Star Wars inspired lyric video , as well as its EDM influences. It also raised eyebrows with its lyrics, which make no damn sense. Ariana Grande: “Break Free” Lyric Video Don’t blame Ariana, though, for gems like “Now that I’ve become who I really are” and “I only wanna die alive,” because producer Max Martin made her do it . “I fought him on it the whole time,” Grande says. “‘I am not going to sing a grammatically incorrect lyric, help me, God!’ Max was like, ‘It’s funny – just do it!'” Begrudgingly, she agreed, but Grande, whose My Everything album drops this month, says “I know it’s funny, but grammatically incorrect things make me cringe.” “I was like, whatever, let’s do it and have some fun … I need to shake it off and let it go and be a little less rigid and old. I’m like 90. Ariana Grande Confirms Relationship With Jai Brooks?

It was rumored that  Ariana Grande and Jai Brooks got back together shortly before the iHearRadio Awards earlier this month.  The two were spotted getting close backstage following Ariana’s performance, but neither went on to publicly confirm the relationship in the weeks since.  That may have changed today, as Ariana posted a photo of Jai holding a puppy to her Instagram page. Granted, Ariana’s not in the photo herself, but many fans are interpreting the pic as Ariana’s way of publicly announcing that she and Jai are officially reconciled. While most fans of Ariana’s seem to be pro-Jai, others are quick to recall how messy things got the last time these two split.  Ariana began dating The Wanted singer Nathan Sykes after she and Jai split last year, and Brooks publicly accused Grande of cheating on him  in response. Clearly these two have put all that ugliness behind them based on Ariana’s post today and photos snapped backstage at the iHeartRadio Awards: Certainly looks like they’re getting along to us!
