Jinger Duggar: Did She Tone Down Her "Rebellious" Look For Her Parents’ Visit?

Of all the Duggar children, no one has blazed their own trail quite like Jinger. Jinger first earned the “rebel” label when she began wearing pants, a violation of the strict Duggar dress code , which requires women to wear long skirts at all times. (Jinger committed her first act of sartorial defiance only after she was married and only with her husband’s permission, but hey — given her parents’ famously low tolerance for non-conformity, that pair of Levi’s must have felt as dangerous as any mohawk.) Since then, Jinger has broken with the Duggar belief system in a number of subtle, but significant ways. For starters, she married a man her father openly disapproved of. After her wedding, Jinger waited more than a year to get pregnant — a customary practice in most parts of the world, but the stuff of scandal in a community in which girls are taught from a young age that procreation is their primary reason for being. Most recently, Jinger moved to Los Angeles with her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, and her daughter, Felicity. Even though the family relocated so that Jeremy could attend a divinity school in the area, Jinger’s parents reportedly disapproved. In fact, the move prompted rumors that Jinger had been disowned by her parents . Last week, however, something remarkable happened. With no advanced notice, Jim Bob and Michelle — along with 16 of their children — made the trip out west and visited Jinger in LA for the first time. Some flew, some drove RVs, and Jinger was reportedly overjoyed to see her parents and all but two of her siblings. (Jill and Joy-Anna were unable to make the trip for reasons that remain unclear.) Obviously, Jinger did not have to do any traveling, and she wasn’t able to accommodate dozens of guests in her home. (It’s unclear how many Duggar children and in-laws made the journey.) But that doesn’t mean nothing was required of her. According to a new report from Radar Online, Jinger made a major concession to her parents’ belief system and re-adopted the Duggar dress code during their visit. “Just last week Jinger was wearing ripped jeans, and before that, short shorts,” an insider tells the site. “The moment her parents come to town she goes back to wearing dresses,” Yes, we suppose it’s easy to be a rebel when your parents are 1,500 miles away, but a bit more difficult when they’re staying at the Marriott down the street. It’s unclear if Jim Bob and Michelle requested this favor of Jinger, or if she simply chose to surprise them with her return to “modest attire.” Some folks are taking this as a sign that Jinger really was disowned by her parents and is currently working hard to get back into their good graces. That’s a bit of a stretch. But whatever the case, it seems Jinger is still very much concerned with remaining on Jim Bob’s good side. Avery Mills Defends Omar Albakour in Unhinged Video: He’s NOT Controlling!

Monday night will show part one of the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell All special . Avery Mills is getting ahead of whatever is about to air by offering a vigorous, if somewhat unhinged, defense of her husband, Omar Albakour. Is she right? Is she a little bonkers? It's possible that both are true. Take a look: “Okay,” Avery begins a series of Instagram Story videos. “I do have to say something.” “I don't usually respond to any comments,” she admits. “But I hate when people say Omar is controlling.” “I'm sorry,” Avery says sarcastically. “But Omar asking me not to dance in the streets because it's not normal is  not  being controlling.” “To be honest,” she continues. “People have their preferences. If he doesn't want me dancing in the streets …” She then zooms in on her face, saying to trust her, that, they “do enough dancing at home.” “For two,” Avery continues in a subsequent video shared to her Instagram Story. “For someone to say that Omar does not love me,” she insists. “Does not know Omar.” Avery expresses: “He is the most loving person, ever.” She then suggests that she may be able to zero in on exactly what makes some viewers so suspicious of Omar. “Yeah,” she admits. “He's shy.” “He's shy when he's getting recorded for international TV shows,” Avery points out. “I bet a lot of people would be more shy, too,” she predicts. But Avery has moe to say than just defending Omar's demeanor and what some saw as controlling behavior. She also takes the opportunity to sing her man's praises. “You know,” she says. “Get you a man who sings … to you.” Avery also recommends a man “that plays with your hair any time.” “That spoils you,” she continues. “With love, with, you know, anything that you want.” “Get you someone who will protect you at all costs,” Avery suggests. “And maybe,” she says up close to the camera. “You'll know how much Omar loves me.” “And last but not least,” Avery concludes. “If you don't like me,” she says, while facing off screen. “Then that's a personal problem.” Throughout the entire video, she is going out of her way to emote more than necessary. For dramatic effect, she moves the camera close to and away from her face at odd moments. The effect of her Instagram Stories, whether you agree with her message or not, is unlikely to impress. If you're wondering why Avery comes across as a little batty and immature here, keep in mind that she's, well, 19. Maybe 20. And while she's certainly not too young to choose her religious faith, her age has brought up other concerns. She may be an adult, but how young is too young to get married? Most people feel that 19 qualifies. That said, some critics of her romance with Omar have less to do with maturity concerns and more to do with straight-up Islamophobia. Fans of the couple will be pleased to know that it appears that the two are still married. We'll know more on Monday night's Tell All, Part 1.

Meri Brown Gives Fans Another Reason to Think She’s Done with Sister Wives

Yes, we’ve said this before . No, we don’t have any hard evidence to go on. But maybe, just maybe, Meri Brown is close to leaving Sister Wives — both the reality show and the entire polygamous situation — behind. The veteran TLC personality has given observers a brand new reason to think this could be the case. Over a year ago, Kody Brown dragged his supposed loved ones from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona. The family’s situation has sort of been a confusing mess ever since, considering no real construction is underway on the gigantic piece of property Kody purchased for his compound last year. But now some things are starting to come into focus in regard to which of the Sister Wives are really settled in for the long haul. Robyn, for example, has purchased a huge mansion with Kody . She isn’t going anywhere, that’s for certain. Christine, it should be noted, has also bought a home. Here’s the thing, though: Meri has not. The home Meri was renting in Flagstaff since August 29, 2018 was put on the market on July 1 of this year, forcing her to find a new (temporary) residence. According to online records, obtained by Radar Online, she is now renting a new home in Flagstaff. It’s a four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home for $4,500 per month and, look, it may be a gorgeous place to live — but it also must be taken as a sign. If Meri were committed to putting down roots in Arizona, would she really be renting? Especially as her fellow Sister Wives all buy? We aren’t speculating in a vacuum here, either. Meri has given folks plenty of reasons to think she’s questioning her life choices… and we’re not even talking about her catfishing scandal from 2016, when she tried to date outside her spiritual marriage and ended up getting duped online. No. We’re talking about many of the cryptic social media posts Meri has shared over the past several weeks, going back to June when she clearly shaded her Sister Wives . “I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them,” she wrote at the time, adding: “In fact, the more you give, the more you receive. Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness.” Doesn’t sound like someone in an ideal relationship, does it? About two months later, Brown took on her haters — whether they be Robyn or Christine or Janelle… or random trolls on the Internet. “The fact of the matter is, I’m living MY life for ME, and I’m happy with it. I’m confident in my choices. I’m happy with what I’m doing,” Brown stated on Instagram in late August, concluding: “And that’s all that matters.” Do these posts automatically mean Meri is about to ditch Kody and company? Of course not. But it’s been evident for years now, really, that she’s either unhappy or simply searching for something in life that she can’t quite place or explain in detail. Sulli, 25-Year Old K-Pop Singer, Dead of Apparent Suicide

Sulli, a K-Pop singer best known for having been part of the band f(x), was found dead in her home on Monday afternoon near Seoul. She was 25 years old. According to multiple outlets, Sulli’s manager found the artist’s body and immediately called the police upon doing so. Details are still coming in regarding how this tragedy transpired, but early indications are that Sulli took her own life. This same aforementioned manager told authorities that his client suffered from depression. “So far, it seems she killed herself, but we will leave all possibilities open and investigate,” a police official said in a statement. The singer — whose real name is Choi Jin-ri —  was discovered on the second floor of her house in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam, south of the capital city, Seoul. No foul play is suspected and we’ve heard that a suicide note was found on the scene, but police have not yet divulged its content. Sulli’s agency, SM Entertainment, referred  to the news as “very hard to believe and sorrowful” in a statement to the Associated Press. Sulli started her career in the entertainment industry as a child actress… prior to starting her singing career in 2009 as one of the four members of the K-pop girl group f(x). She left the band in 2015 to return to acting, yet eventually continued releasing music as a solo artist. Her most recent song, “Goblin,” came out this past June. Sulli had the lead role in 2017 film “Real” and in “Pirates.” She recently shot the television series “Hotel Del Luna” for tvN, and was attached to “Persona” for Netflix. She had over five million followers on Instagram — and she spoke openly in 2014 and 2015 about suffering at the end of social media trolls and bullies for several months. Most notably, she came under fire years ago for dating an older rapper and then, in 2016, for performing on stage without a bra. “Even close people left me,” she said back then. “I was hurt by them and felt there was nobody who understands me, which made me fall apart.” She also said this one time: “My life is actually empty, so I feel like I’m lying to everyone by pretending to be happy on the outside. “I asked around a lot for advice. They told me, ‘Everyone has a dark side in their lives but they live pretending that they don’t. Don’t think of it as weird.'” Korean pop music — or K-pop — is one of the country’s biggest exports in the past decade. But the field has clearly taken its toll on many of its main participants. Sulli, for example, was good friends with K-pop star Jonghyun, who took his own life in 2017 at the age of 27. In May 2019, singer and actress Goo Hara — formerly part of girl band Kara — apologized to fans after being found unconscious at home after posting the word “Goodbye” on her Instagram page. 90 Day Fiance The Other Way Tell All Sneak Peek: Evelin "Forgets" Her Ring

The first season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way comes to a close, but no season is complete without a Tell All special. We already know that the Tell All is especially nasty for Corey and Evelin after Corey is shown a video that shakes him to his core. Now we know that they were already off to a rocky start, as Evelin “forgets” her engagement ring and then body-shames Corey. So, Jihoon and Tom were reportedly the only 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way stars from other countries who could attend the Tell All filming. Evelin, in particular, allegedly overstayed a tourist visa at one point, so it appears that she cannot return to the US for some time. The Engabao, Ecuardor native instead phoned in her appearance on the show via a live video chat, along with some other fiancees. Shaun Robinson, the delightful Tell All host with whom we are all familiar, sits with Corey with an illusion of privacy as Evelin chats with them. Meanwhile, a group of other stars watch from a separate room backstage. “Congratulations on your engagement!” Shaun says merrily, even though she must know full well the bombshell producers are going to drop. Corey thanks her, and she asks when the wedding will be. This is when Corey admits that the actual wedding is still in the planning stages. Corey shares that the date will be “within the next six months.” It turns out that this timeline is partially set by his extended tourist visa (which may be the result of him and Evelin being featured in tourist ads). The visa is extended, but it's not indefinite, so they'll need to tie the knot or he'll have to go home. “So Evelin, within six months, you and Corey are going to be husband and wife,” Shaun asks. “I hope. I don’t know, I just don’t know,” Evelin admits. She asks: “Like how are we supposed to plan our wedding and things that needed to be figured out in such a short time?” “And I know you’ve asked me to learn Spanish,” Corey states. He explains: “She’s asked me to talk with her family and immerse myself in the culture more.” “And she says I need to put on more muscle like I need to look more attractive,” Corey acknowledges. He states: “I need a six-pack and then we can get married.” Evelin chimes in by laughing, saying: “Yeah, it’s because he got a lot of weight on.” She then accuses that “he started nothing” in terms of losing weight, and that the clock is ticking on that. Folks, we realize that it's not uncommon for soon-to-be married people to work on weight loss before a wedding. But that should always be a personal choice, not the result of pressure from anyone else — including your fiancee. After Corey explains his visa sitch, Shaun asks Evelin to hold up her hands for the camera. “Are you wearing your engagement ring?” Shaun asks, already knowing the answer because it's right there on the screen. Evelin laughs and says: “I forgot.” “Seriously, Evelin?” Corey asks. “Are you kidding me?” “I forgot, I completely forgot,” Evelin says apologetically. This is … not going to win her any points. But, as we've reported, it's certainly not the worst part of the Tell All for her and Corey's relationship. In the mean time, Jenny has some very funny commentary about Evelin and her engagement ring. “If Sumit put a ring on this finger, it would never come off,” Jenny states adamantly from backstage. “Not ever. I would superglue that thing to my finger,” she vows. “And it would never come off.” Well, Jenny and Evelin are very different people at very different places in their lives. Jenelle Evans and David Eason: Proof They’re Abusing Animals AGAIN?!

Jenelle Evans doesn't have the best track record when it comes to keeping her pets happy and healthy, you know? It's actually kind of a whole thing. Over the years, we've seen her treat quite a few animals badly, and it's always been difficult to see. But after what happened with Nugget earlier this year, you'd think she'd have learned to be a bit more careful. No such luck, as it turns out … 1. Looking Back As we said, Jenelle has never been much of an animal lover — remember back in the day on Teen Mom 2 when she crammed her two big dogs in one crate, yelled at them, then opened the door for them to go outside and tried to get them to run away? 2. Memories Or what about the time she tried to get her dog to play fetch with a lit firework? 3. Ugh And then there was the the time when her dog started showing up in photos with what very much looked like a broken tail. She never seemed too concerned about that. 4. RIP Nugget All of that was truly awful, but it was nothing when compared to what David did to Nugget. 5. Poor Pup Nugget was Jenelle’s little French bulldog, and she appeared to be especially attached to it. But when the dog nipped at Ensley, David thought that instead of trying to train the dog or teach his kids how to interact with animals, he’d just take the dog outside and shoot it. 6. A Mystery Some reports claimed that he beat the dog before killing it, others claimed that when he came back inside afterwards, he was covered in blood. Even if none of that was true, the fact remains that he killed the poor little dog, and that clearly was not OK. View Slideshow

Catelynn Lowell FINALLY Tells All: Is She Really Pregnant?!

Catelynn Lowell has had some very eventful pregnancies. It's sort of the thing that happens when you get famous and then base your entire livelihood on getting pregnant at 16. But for the past couple of weeks, there has been a swirl of rumors about a new pregnancy, and although it seems unlikely, the rumors simply will not quit. Thankfully, Catelynn has released an official statement explaining everything. And you may be surprised about what she has to say … 1. So Many! Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra have had three children together — all girls. And yes, that little detail is going to be important later. 2. Carly Back when they were teenagers, they had Carly, the daughter they placed for adoption. 3. Nova Several years later, they welcomed Nova. 4. Vaeda And just earlier this year, sweet little Vaeda was born. 5. One Happy Family So they’ve got a darling little family, right? They see Carly occasionally, and they’re raising Nova and Vaeda. Robert Forster Dies; Veteran Actor Was 78 Years Old

Robert Forster, the beloved actor whose career enjoyed an unexpected revival after he starred in Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown, died of brain cancer at his home in Los Angeles on Friday. He was 78 years old. The sad news was confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter by Forster’s publicist. Forster’s passing came just hours after his final performance, as he played a role in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which was released on Netflix on October 11. The veteran star also made a final appearance in Last Man Standing last year, portraying the father of Tim Allen’s character. “A truly gifted actor and one of the loveliest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. RIP Robert,” wrote Last Man Standing actress Nancy Travis on Twitter Friday in response to the sad development. Forster appeared on 10 episodes of this ABC sitcom. Still, he was best known for his work on the big screen. He made his film debut opposite Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor in John Huston’s Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967) and then received rave reviews as an ethically challenged cameraman in Haskell Wexler’s ultra-realistic Medium Cool (1969). Forster was a successful box office draw for over a decade — but his career than took a dip. By the early 1990s, the actor was down to supporting roles in such low-budget efforts as Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence, Body Chemistry 3: Point of Seduction and Scanner Cop II… while supplementing his income with speaking engagements. Until Tarantino entered the picture, that is. In 1997, Tarantino directed Forster to an Oscar-nominated performance in Jackie Brown. Filmmaker David Lynch later cast him as a detective in Mulholland Drive —  and Forster would go on to work with Lynch again in 2017, playing Sheriff Frank Truman in Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival. “I went 21 months without a job. I had four kids, I took any job I could get,” Forster told the Chicago Tribune in 2018, adding: “My career went like this for five years and then like that for 27. “Every time it reached a lower level I thought I could tolerate, it dropped some more, and then some more. Near the end I had no agent, no manager, no lawyer, no nothing. I was taking whatever fell through the cracks.” Forster’s other credits over the recent years have included Firewall, Me, Myself and Irene, Lucky Number Slevin and Olympus Has Fallen. Forster said that when his career was at its lowest ebb, he had what he called an “epiphany.” “It was the simple one,” he said, “when you realize, ‘You know what? You’re not dead yet, Bob. You can win it in the late innings. You’ve still got the late innings, but you can’t quit. Never quit.'” He is survived by his third wife, Evie, and children Elizabeth, Katherine, Maeghen and Robert. Jon Gosselin: Kate is Exploiting Our Kids for Cash!

Reports have said that Kate Gosselin is worried that Jon might expose her toxic parenting on his own show with Hannah and Collin. It turns out that she needn’t have worried. Jon is against his kids appearing on film, and he doesn’t need a reality gig to expose Kate for what she is. Jon says that Kate is violating a court’s decision by having the kids film, all so that she can exploit them for money to fund her lifestyle. In 2018, the Department of Labor declined to grant Kate the permits that she and TLC wanted. Why? Because both the department and a judge concluded that it was not in the best interests of her minor children to film for Kate Plus 8 . And yet Kate and the network continued to film Kate’s (remaining) minor children, both at home and on location in North Carolina. Speaking to TheDailyMailTV , Jon Gosselin unloads his frustrations that his ex is breaking rules about their kids just to rake in more money. “I’m furious,” he expresses. “Absolutely furious.” “[The network] didn’t care,” Jon Gosselin laments. “It’s really upsetting that big businesses and big corporations go do whatever they want, against a parent’s legal right,” he despairs.. “The judge and the guardian ad litem both agreed that it wasn’t in my children’s best interests to be filmed,” Jon points out. A guardian ad litem is appointed by a judge to evaluate a child’s welfare as an outsider who then reports findings to a judge. Jon continues: “but my ex-wife and TLC had other ideas.” “They put profits and ratings ahead of the well-being of my children,” Jon accuses. He continues furiously: “and filmed illegally without work permits.” “They literally don’t care,” Jon says. “They’ll pay the fine.” He hates that “big business will do whatever they want to do because they have the money to pay all the fines.” Any crime or violation that is payable by fine, from parking to filming without a permit, just means legal for rich people . Remember that. “This is all about money,” Jon notes. “This is a fiduciary thing.” He accuses: “This has nothing to do with anything else other than Kate’s lifestyle, not the kids’ lifestyle.” “Go get a job,” he indirectly tells Kate. “Support your own family.” “It’s disgusting,” he bemoans. “My kids work for her lifestyle.” “Kate does nothing,” Jon continues. “Zero. Absolutely nothing.” in September, Jon spoke of how toxic and damaging a household Kate has built for the children still under her “care.” “I do know what [Kate’s] capable of, whether it’s mental or physical [abuse],” Jon stated grimly. The whole world has known for many years that Kate is a monster. Jon points out that Hannah and Collin left a lot behind just to escape. “I have two kids in my house who left a whole pile of money behind,” he noted. “They left fame and money and came to my house,” he emphasized. “They left it all behind.” He also says that, actually, none of his kids really want to be reality stars. “They have all said they have to film because they feel they need to provide a lifestyle for their mother,” Jon revealed. “They don’t want to film,” he claimed. “They said they have to film. That’s heartbreaking.” “Why do my kids need to provide for themselves?” he asks. “They’re kids.” That is an extremely fair question. A lot of terrible parents exploit their children for reality fame. Networks profit from it. One day, laws need to be passed to prevent this sort of thing, be it Gosselins or Duggars or Teen Moms. Kylie Jenner Bikini Pic Savaged By Haters: Your Whole Body Looks Fake!

Obviously, the women of the Kardashian-Jenner clan are no strangers to criticism. Whether it’s their fashion sense, their politics, their taste in men, or their perceived impact on our cultural landscape, Kim and company are under near-constant assault from an army of tireless trolls. Of course, the most vicious insults have to do with the sisters’ physical appearances. And these days, the most common target for this particular brand of invective is the world’s youngest self-made billionaire , Kylie Jenner. Maybe it’s envy over her astonishing success as a cosmetics mogul or the way she seemed to reclaim her pre-pregnancy physique after welcoming daughter Stormi  last year. Whatever the case, Kylie is in the crosshairs more than ever these days. Fortunately, she refuses to let the haters get her down, and Kylie Jenner bikini pics are still a regular occurrence on the ‘Gram. These days, of course, Kylizzle is frequently joined by her daughter in her photos, and you might think that would humanize her a bit and cause the thrash-talkers to think twice before hurling insults at the 22-year-old. Sadly, that hasn’t turned out to be the case. If anything, the comment goblins seem to have doubled-down in their abuse. Kylie posted a set of throwback swimsuit pics this week in celebration of a fond memory with her daughter. “About a year ago with my baby … Where does the time go,” she captioned the pics. You get the idea. Nasty stuff, seemingly motivated by corrosive envy. Thankfully, Kylie also received a good deal of support from fans: “Ugh I wish I had a perfect body like you,” wrote one follower.  “You are beautiful and nice baby,” another commented. “Ah I miss blonde Kylie,” a third chimed in. We’re sure the kind words are much appreciated, particularly as Kylie is in the midst of a breakup from Travis Scott , the rapper who fathered her child, and whom she openly planned to marry. “They are very, very in love, but she’s 22, and her whole life is Stormi and her business and her family,” a source told Us Weekly about the split. “She’s not wanting to be a normal rapper’s wife,” the insider added. “He’s still young and at the recording studio late. She usually goes to bed early. They have different lifestyles.” Breakups are always rough, but they’re even worse when there’s a kid involved. Add to that millions of strangers insulting your appearance, and you have a situation that would give even a 22-year-old billionaire a crisis of confidence.
