Meri Brown Gives Fans Another Reason to Think She’s Done with Sister Wives

Yes, we’ve said this before . No, we don’t have any hard evidence to go on. But maybe, just maybe, Meri Brown is close to leaving Sister Wives — both the reality show and the entire polygamous situation — behind. The veteran TLC personality has given observers a brand new reason to think this could be the case. Over a year ago, Kody Brown dragged his supposed loved ones from Las Vegas to Flagstaff, Arizona. The family’s situation has sort of been a confusing mess ever since, considering no real construction is underway on the gigantic piece of property Kody purchased for his compound last year. But now some things are starting to come into focus in regard to which of the Sister Wives are really settled in for the long haul. Robyn, for example, has purchased a huge mansion with Kody . She isn’t going anywhere, that’s for certain. Christine, it should be noted, has also bought a home. Here’s the thing, though: Meri has not. The home Meri was renting in Flagstaff since August 29, 2018 was put on the market on July 1 of this year, forcing her to find a new (temporary) residence. According to online records, obtained by Radar Online, she is now renting a new home in Flagstaff. It’s a four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home for $4,500 per month and, look, it may be a gorgeous place to live — but it also must be taken as a sign. If Meri were committed to putting down roots in Arizona, would she really be renting? Especially as her fellow Sister Wives all buy? We aren’t speculating in a vacuum here, either. Meri has given folks plenty of reasons to think she’s questioning her life choices… and we’re not even talking about her catfishing scandal from 2016, when she tried to date outside her spiritual marriage and ended up getting duped online. No. We’re talking about many of the cryptic social media posts Meri has shared over the past several weeks, going back to June when she clearly shaded her Sister Wives . “I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them,” she wrote at the time, adding: “In fact, the more you give, the more you receive. Empowering women doesn’t come from selfishness but rather from selflessness.” Doesn’t sound like someone in an ideal relationship, does it? About two months later, Brown took on her haters — whether they be Robyn or Christine or Janelle… or random trolls on the Internet. “The fact of the matter is, I’m living MY life for ME, and I’m happy with it. I’m confident in my choices. I’m happy with what I’m doing,” Brown stated on Instagram in late August, concluding: “And that’s all that matters.” Do these posts automatically mean Meri is about to ditch Kody and company? Of course not. But it’s been evident for years now, really, that she’s either unhappy or simply searching for something in life that she can’t quite place or explain in detail. Sister Wives in Chaos: Meri Moves! Robyn Sells! Is It All Over?

As of this writing, Sister Wives has not been canceled by TLC. But it seems very much as if the man at the forefront of this long-running reality show has finally been canceled by two of his cult members better halves. Allow us to explain… On Wednesday, August 7, Meri Brown posted a video of herself driving out of Flagstaff, Arizona, where she has been residing for months with her polygamous husband and sister wives Janelle, Christine and Robyn. She revealed in this post that she is bidding farewell to the town the family moved to last August. “Saying goodbye to Flagstaff,” Meri explained, as you can see down below. “It’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.” As veteran fans of this polarizing series likely know, Meri has been renting a resident in Flagstaff since August 29, 2018. Now, Radar Online has reported that the home is on the market for $870,000. What does this mean for Meri and Kody? We can’t say for certain. But their marriage has seemingly been on very thin ice for a very long time now. Just this past March, for instance, Meri basically said she was sick and tired of being a sister wife. This admission came years after Kody actually divorced her (in order to marry Robyn — more on her below — and adopt her kids) and about three years after that very embarrassing catfishing scandal . On this spring’s Sister Wives Tell All special, Meri and Kody talked about starting over and giving their relationship another shot… … but then Meri was spotted getting close to some dude named Brandon Stone . Here is a photo of the pair from July: Meri has also been open about her dislike of Arizona. Remember this Instagram post from April? “Yesterday I had this overwhelming emotion of missing Las Vegas, the place I called home for nearly 8 years. I mean, I was really, really sad for not living there anymore. So much life there, so many friends. It was home for me. I loved it.” Moreover, Meri hasn’t shared a photo of herself and Kody since January. “We have a commitment to a marriage,” Kody said on the aforementioned TLC special, adding of himself and Meri: “We’re moving forward. We’re steadily working on a direction that’s fully mended.”  Added Meri in this same sit-down: “It was not moving in a positive direction for a really long time prior to the realization. From that point he and I and everybody had to figure out what we really wanted and move forward from there.” Kody then said the lovers are working on a “new beginning.” Fair enough, but maybe now also false. It sounds like Meri is simply ready for it all to end. This, as outlined above, should not come as a shock to anyone that’s been paying attention. But Robyn? Is she also done with Kody? If so, prepare for all jaws to hit the floor in stunned uniformity. Radar Online also reported this week that reveal Kody’s fourth — and presumably favorite — wife has also put her Arizona home on the market. As noted previously, this may come as a surprise to some Sister Wives fans, but you therefore ought to stop and ask yourself: When was the last time you even heard from Robyn? She’s been skipping family functions and vacations and grew frustrated with her husband this past season when he couldn’t promise that Arizona would be the family’s permanent home after moving from Utah to Nevada… and then Nevada to Arizona in August 2018. For the record: Robyn rented a five- bedroom home when the clan moved to Flagstaff last year. Radar writes that it put on the market on May 2, 2019 for $975,000 and was officially sold on August 1, 2019 for $925,000. Again, we do not know for sure what all this means. Not for Kody, Robyn, Meri or the future of Sister Wives as a television program. But it doesn’t sound very promising for anyone involved, of that we’re confident saying. Could this also explain why Kody is allegedly in the market for a fifth wife? Probably. We also hope it explains why no woman should ever want to become that fifth wife. Cardi B Grinds on Offset in Epic On-Stage BET Awards Lapdance: WATCH!

We've already reported on the winners at the 2019 BET Awards , but the real winners were those of us who watched Cardi B perform. No, scratch that — the real winner was Offset, because of his role in her performance. Cardi gave him a wild and tantalizing lapdance on stage and it was the best part of the night. Take a look: On Sunday, Cardi B made it very clear that she was nervous about her upcoming performance. “Sooo I’m opening the show today,” Cardi wrote to her fans and followers. “And,” she admitted. “My anxiety is killing me.” That is a great reminder that part of Cardi's enduring popularity is that she is deeply relatable. “Wish me luck guys,” Cardi concluded, adding: “BET AWARDS!” Offset marched out onto the stage and performed. Comparing Offset's appeal and Cardi's is … wildly unfair to Offset, so we'll just skip right to Cardi's appearance. After Offset's male dancers (and the cameras) provided a distraction, the men pull back. We see Offset seated in a chair and receiving one hell of a lapdance from his gorgeous wife. Now, it's Cardi's turn to perform, rapping and singing to the camera. All the while, she's sitting and grinding upon her husband. As you watch Cardi's incredible skill as she performs, keep in mind that Cardi once did this professionally. Now, she's integrating those skills into a truly stunning performance. The camera orbits as she straddles Offset, giving the audience a taste of what she's offering up. Then, she turns around and undulates her body in a sinuous motion while facing the audience. The result is spectacular. Then, of course, she sings, and it's a great performance.  We're sure that Offset, wherever he was at this point, was giving her a standing ovation. Cardi had a busy night, but she still made time to tweet — and even to respond to fans. “Someone said Offset out-danced you,” one fan tweeted at her. The Twitter denizen used a pair of laughing emojis to correctly convey the absurdity of that comment. Cardi replied, and she found a very on-brand way to sidestep having to insult her husband. She quote-tweeted the fan's words, writing: “But let’s see who going to K.O first after sex tonight tho ?” Cardi kind of opened herself up to jokes about how she apparently used to drug and rob men, there. However, she also tweeted about what a good night she was having despite her anxiety. “I finally met taraji !!!!!!” Cardi exclaimed with glee. “The universe was trying to stop the link -___-” She also gave the overall experience a glowing review. “The @BET awards was so lit,” Cardi announced. “Everybody turn the f–k up from Beginning to End.” Of course, not all of Cardi's weekend was filled with fun … or filled with Offset . See, a grand jury voted to indict her for that Cardi-beatdown she allegedly ordered against a pair of strippers she accused of hooking up with Offset. It turns out that ordering your goons to attack a woman not once, but twice is a crime. Cardi may be rich, but money can only go so far when it comes to getting a famously hot-tempered person out of trouble with the law.

In the past, we maybe had to parse the reality star’s words and try to determine whether or not she was throwing shade at her fellow Sister Wives. But that was back then. Now? At this moment? Based on what the television personality just shared on her Instagram Story? We don’t think there’s any doubt any longer. “Never water yourself down just because someone can’t handle you at 100 proof,” Brown shared a couple days ago, not referencing Kody Brown or any of his other wives by name… … but come on now. Meri, for those who don’t follow Sister Wives closely, has been unhappy in her marriage for years now. It’s difficult to blame her, considering she must share her husband and her life with three other women at pretty much all times. About four years ago, Meri tried to break out of this arrangement and actually thought she had found a new guy — only to fall victim to a very embarrassing catfishing scandal . Since then, the state of her relationship with Kody has been a prominent Sister Wives storyline. In April, Meri made it clear she wasn’t happy about the move from Las Vegas to Arizona. About a month later, she appeared to get especially personal when she wrote the following on social media: I wish more women realized that helping another woman win, cheering her on, praying for her, or sharing a resource with her, does NOT take away from the blessings coming to them. Shortly after Meri slammed the Sister Wives for not being supportive, Kody pretty clearly came right back at her. “Bitterness is the undoing of creativity,” he Tweeted, adding: “Thus, a poet allows his blood to sweeten with pain. May all pain sweeten your blood so you will access Source Energy and find Peace.” Where will things go from here? It’s hard to say. Kody Brown, Sister Wives Face Further Financial Frustration

Kody Brown and his four sister wives thought they’d found paradise when they decided to move the whole family to Flagstaff, Arizona . But paradise came with its share of troubles. In addition to the usual drama and fueds, the polygamous family has struggled financially ever since the move. The struggle got even more intense this month, as even more interest piles up on the Browns’ unpaid property taxes. Last year, Kody spent $820,000 on a 15-acre plot of land in Flagstaff.  This is a huge amount of space, even if you do have four wives and 18 children. The property is divided into four parcels, each requiring separate payments. Arizona law forbids polygamous co-habitation. Because of this, the plan was to build several houses on the property.  This way the family could keep each other close and hopefully avoid breaking that pesky law. But, as a  Radar Online report reveals, the plan has encountered major setbacks. A year later, the Browns have yet to break ground on a single house, and they still owe property taxes that were due in December. According to  Radar Online , tax payments are only past due on two of the four plots. Kody, Christine and Robyn own one plot together, and initially failed to pay the amount of $2,063.70. After the latest round of interest, they now owe $2,201.28 The second plot is co-owned by Kody (again), Janelle and Meri. They originally owed $1,990.82, but now that’s increased to $2,123.54,  Radar Online reports. That’s a total of $4,324.82 just to get caught up on taxes. And obviously, it’s going to cost a lot more than that to build multiple houses for the Browns’ enormous family. To make matters worse,  Radar Online now claims that the family hasn’t received any payment for Christine Brown’s former house in Las Vegas. Prior reports seemed to indicate the family had found a buyer, but the house is still listed on the market for the lowest price yet, $574,990. Meri’s Las Vegas house also failed to sell, even after multiple price cuts. Ultimately, it was taken off the market. That must be disappointing for the Browns, who were counting on adding another half a million dollars to their housing budget in Arizona. But we have a hunch that Meri might find having a back-up house useful when she finally decides she’s had enough of Kody and the other wives. Over the past year, it’s been rumored, and even apparent on the show, that Meri isn’t feeling the love anymore. Fans believes that she  may leave the flock . Meanwhile, the many stars of Sister Wives are paying rent on no fewer than four separate dwellings  and  a commercial building in Flagstaff.  That’s an incredibly expensive feat for a family that’s already pressed for funds.  (Moving isn’t cheap, folks) It all makes one wonder if perhaps this move wasn’t very thoroughly thought out.  But the news isn’t all bad. A new season of Sister Wives has begun filming, which means more money is on the way for the Brown family.  Will it be enough to square up the taxes, build several homes and feed 18 children? Will the whole family even stick around to find out? It’s too early to say, but it’s clear that Kody and the Sister Wives may have bitten off more than they can chew. Meri Brown Ditches Husband, Vacations All By Herself

Welp. We appear to have an answer to the question we posed just a few days ago. In the wake of Kody Brown appearing to hurl some shade in the direction of Meri Brown last week, we wrote about said shade and wondered: How would Meri respond ? Based on Meri’s latest Instagram updates, it seems like she read the criticism, took a deep breath — and then went to the Happiest Place on Earth. Yup: Meri Brown spent this past weekend in Disneyland. “Just a chill day here at Disneyland! If you’re here and see me, don’t be shy, just say hi! I’m doing some shopping, because of course it’s a super fun thing to do, and I love to share the Disney love!” wrote Meri as a caption to the image above. She added along with the one below: “Vintage Mickey at Disney? Yes please!” Perhaps most telling, as it relates to Brown’s posts and her ongoing relationship status, is one of the hashtags she wrote alongside her second caption: #IndependentWoman . Meri has been very open over the years with her dissatisfaction over her marriage to Kody. She actually had an opportunity to date back in 2015 and 2016 … and she then she ended up meeting someone she thought could be a serious possibility online — only to be catfished for the entire world to see. It’s been a challenging road for Meri to come back from this catfishing scandal . As one of four women married to Kody Brown, Meri has confessed that her love life hasn’t turned out the way she once fantasized. But she did claim on a Sister Wives reunion special this spring that she’s doing her best to move on and accept the arrangement as best she can. “What we’ve had to do is discover our new baseline,” Kody on this special, referring to the issues he has faced with Meri and adding: “Every marriage has a baseline, and it gently changes through the years for most people… Meri and I had an abrupt change. “Different culture, Different religious values, we might have just [gotten a divorce], but we’re fortunate enough to be blessed to be a part of a family that is its own culture. “So we continue to move forward working on that, steadily moving in a direction where we’re just fully mended.” Meri echoed this same sentiment on the same episode, yet she did not sound very convincing while doing so. “You have to figure out a way almost to just cut it off and just be dead,” Meri said of her beliefs about her marriage prior to her aforementioned catfishing scandal. “I honestly have had to mourn what is gone.” In conclusion? “I’m looking at a future as well. I am, and I have a lot of hope for what could be.” We guess that sort of sounds promising, but it’s become evident that Meri simply isn’t happy. She’s merely accept this Sister Wives situation because she thinks it’s the best she can do. Making things even more tragic? Meri Brown: Being a Sister Wife Breaks My Heart!

For the past several years, Meri Brown has appeared to have a serious problem with her polygamist lifestyle. It makes sense — being a Sister Wife looks like it really, really sucks. Meri has been unhappy for as long as Sister Wives has been a thing, and it’s easy to imagine her unhappiness existed before then, too. She’s admitted to struggling with sharing her husband, Kody, with Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, and we’ve also seen some tension from the fact that she was only ever able to have one child. But in the past few years, things have definitely gotten worse. In 2015, Meri found herself in what we would call an emotional affair with a man she met online. The man turned out to be a woman — she got catfished — but still, she clearly developed feelings for this person that went beyond friendship. After it happened, the family tried to stand by her and spin the whole thing in an anti-catfish way, but at the end of the day, they saw that Meri had pretty much been stepping out on Kody. Which is fine, to be clear. Kody has three other wives, and no one could blame her for looking for something somewhere else, but the way the Sister Wives operate is that the women are faithful to their husband while he rotates marriages on a schedule. As we saw on the show, the relationship between Kody and Meri really suffered for all of this, and at several points, it seemed like they weren’t going to make it . For a while, she told him that she didn’t want him staying at her house anymore, and more recently, he thought she was over it when she made the decision to buy her bed and breakfast. But for some reason, they’re still kicking, and now they’re kicking in a brand new state! Yep, last fall, the Brown family moved out of Las Vegas and over to Flagstaff, Arizona . And you’ll never believe this, but Meri seems to be unhappy with the way things are now. This weekend, she took to Instagram to explain the way she’s feeling these days, and honestly, it doesn’t sound great. “Yesterday I had this overwhelming emotion of missing Las Vegas, the place I called home for nearly 8 years,” her message began. “I mean, I was really really sad for not living there anymore.” “So much life there, so many friends,” she continued. “It was home for me. I loved it.” “Then this morning I wake up, sun is shining, beautiful day. I mean, my back yard is the mountains for heavens sake!” Meri said. “How could I not love this??” She then tried to turn her frown upside down by saying “Though I’m new here to Flagstaff and it doesn’t feel like home yet, I look forward to this summer, exploring the city, the amazing nature that surrounds me, and of course meeting new people, trustworthy friends.” “There’s a lot of life ahead of me here,” she finished, “and I’m anxious to see where it takes me.” So it really sounds like she’s not happy but trying to make the best of it, right? Story of her life. We hope that she really does start feeling at home in her new city, because it’s definitely got to be a difficult transition. Sister Wives Stars Shoot Down Divorce Chatter: Such Lies!

Is it really all over between Kody Brown and Robyn Brown ? It depends on who you ask. Last week, we were among the first outlets to write that Robyn was finally getting out of this unhealthy relationship and filing for divorce from the controversial Sister Wives patriarch. This news didn’t come as a giant shock to those who watch Sister Wives online , considering the dwindling presence of Robyn on the TLC reality series last season. According to Radar Online, Robyn has simply grown tired of her role both on the program and in her marriage and has decided to move on. “She is leaving the first week in January to go back to Utah with the kids and be with her family to figure out the next step in her life,” an anonymous source alleged to that celebrity gossip site. Simple enough, right? Sensible enough on her part, right?  Especially when you consider that Radar also claims that Robyn thinks her children “aren’t being treated well.” But while Robyn has remained silent on this rumor, both Kody Brown and Meri Brown have jumped on Twitter to deny its validity. Strongly. First, there was Meri back on December 19. She wrote that she simply dies of laughter every time she reads a false rumor about her family, stating simply that it’s probably a “lie” if you didn’t hear it from a member of the Browns. Note the word “probably,” of course. This isn’t the most strident denial we’ve ever read. Kody, however, makes a more powerful case in favor of his marriage to Robyn. On December 23, two days after we published the claim that one of his Sister Wives was leaving him, the head of this effed up family responded to a follower who wondered about his marital status. “I can’t handle the heartbreak,” wrote @akwilson, referring to talk of Kody and Robyn splitting up and really needing to get a life if she was serious. In response, Kody included Robyn’s Twitter handle and wrote: “Not true! [Robyn] and I just went to dinner and shopping.” Who knows what to believe at this point. Talk of strife between Kody and Robyn is not exactly knew. Heck, talk of strife between Kody and all of his other halves is not exactly new. It isn’t easy being one of four women and four mothers in the same household. There’s only so much of Kody to go around, and that’s before you even consider that Kody may just suck as a human being. Heck, back in November, the rumor mill didn’t churn around Kody and Robyn. It churned around Kody and Meri , with insiders saying these two were breaking up in light of Meri’s crazy catfishing scandal. Forget the Kardashians. The Browns have been at the center of the tabloid universe for a number of months, as one cover after another has screamed about fights, divorces and everything in between. Sister Wives: Kody and Meri Brown Get HEATED in New Video!

Well, this is uncomfortable. But hey, we're talking about Sister Wives here, what did you expect? Last year, in a time that will surely live on forever in your trashy reality show-loving heart, Meri Brown admitted that she'd gone and gotten herself involved with a catfish . After divorcing her husband, Kody Brown — they were the only ones legally married, so they legally divorced so he could marry Robyn , but they maintained that “spiritual marriage” he has with all the wives — Meri went through a rough time. She began talking to a man, and then went on to have a sort of emotional affair with him, but it turned out that the man was a woman, and it was all very dramatic and unfortunate. But all that happened over a year ago.     Since then, Kody and the other wives, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, have all been very supportive of Meri, so they're probably definitely back to normal now, right? Wrong. In this sneak peek from Sunday's new episode of Sister Wives, it's obvious that Meri and Kody's relationship is still in a terrible place. Are the rumors that Meri is leaving Kody true?!
