Cardi B Grinds on Offset in Epic On-Stage BET Awards Lapdance: WATCH!

We've already reported on the winners at the 2019 BET Awards , but the real winners were those of us who watched Cardi B perform. No, scratch that — the real winner was Offset, because of his role in her performance. Cardi gave him a wild and tantalizing lapdance on stage and it was the best part of the night. Take a look: On Sunday, Cardi B made it very clear that she was nervous about her upcoming performance. “Sooo I’m opening the show today,” Cardi wrote to her fans and followers. “And,” she admitted. “My anxiety is killing me.” That is a great reminder that part of Cardi's enduring popularity is that she is deeply relatable. “Wish me luck guys,” Cardi concluded, adding: “BET AWARDS!” Offset marched out onto the stage and performed. Comparing Offset's appeal and Cardi's is … wildly unfair to Offset, so we'll just skip right to Cardi's appearance. After Offset's male dancers (and the cameras) provided a distraction, the men pull back. We see Offset seated in a chair and receiving one hell of a lapdance from his gorgeous wife. Now, it's Cardi's turn to perform, rapping and singing to the camera. All the while, she's sitting and grinding upon her husband. As you watch Cardi's incredible skill as she performs, keep in mind that Cardi once did this professionally. Now, she's integrating those skills into a truly stunning performance. The camera orbits as she straddles Offset, giving the audience a taste of what she's offering up. Then, she turns around and undulates her body in a sinuous motion while facing the audience. The result is spectacular. Then, of course, she sings, and it's a great performance.  We're sure that Offset, wherever he was at this point, was giving her a standing ovation. Cardi had a busy night, but she still made time to tweet — and even to respond to fans. “Someone said Offset out-danced you,” one fan tweeted at her. The Twitter denizen used a pair of laughing emojis to correctly convey the absurdity of that comment. Cardi replied, and she found a very on-brand way to sidestep having to insult her husband. She quote-tweeted the fan's words, writing: “But let’s see who going to K.O first after sex tonight tho ?” Cardi kind of opened herself up to jokes about how she apparently used to drug and rob men, there. However, she also tweeted about what a good night she was having despite her anxiety. “I finally met taraji !!!!!!” Cardi exclaimed with glee. “The universe was trying to stop the link -___-” She also gave the overall experience a glowing review. “The @BET awards was so lit,” Cardi announced. “Everybody turn the f–k up from Beginning to End.” Of course, not all of Cardi's weekend was filled with fun … or filled with Offset . See, a grand jury voted to indict her for that Cardi-beatdown she allegedly ordered against a pair of strippers she accused of hooking up with Offset. It turns out that ordering your goons to attack a woman not once, but twice is a crime. Cardi may be rich, but money can only go so far when it comes to getting a famously hot-tempered person out of trouble with the law.

Exclusive: Here’s What Happened When Security Asked Erica Mena To Move At The BET Awards

(Photo by Greg Doherty/Getty Images) Reality Star Erica Mena Was Asked To Move Because She Was Sitting In Execs Seats Here’s a BOSSIP exclusive from the BET Awards. Anyone who’s ever been to the BET Awards knows there can be a lot of moving around throughout the show and shuffling to make sure that the audience is looking right for the cameras. Last night, that caused a bit of embarrassment for at least one reality star in the audience who was asked to move because she and her date were occupying the seats of a pair of high ranking music industry execs — who had been backstage but returned to watch their artist grace the stage! BOSSIP sources in the building say the chairman and president of black music for Atlantic Records were startled to find Erica Mena and Cliff Dixon in their seats after they returned from visiting an artist backstage. Our source says Mena refused to move when the execs returned and security had to be called! “The people who the seats belonged to came back, but Erica kept saying she wasn’t getting up because BET had put her there,” an eyewitness told BOSSIP exclusively. “When security came they asked them to produce their tickets and they couldn’t, she caused a huge scene in the audience and was basically flipping out over it.” “If you don’t have tickets then you are technically a seat filler and required to move when the real ticket holders show up,” the BOSSIP source added. If you watch Erica’s IG story you can see her sitting within the first few rows in her early videos, while later videos are clearly shot from a seat further from the stage. All we can say is, good thing Erica didn’t have a drink with her. She’s been known to get pretty aggressive during some of her past “Love & Hip-Hop” appearances. How embarrassing! Hit the flip for some of Erica’s better BET weekend moments

Demi Lovato: I Thought I’d Be Dead By Now

Demi Lovato has once again opened up about the depths of her former drug problem. Ever since she entered rehab in late 2010, the artist has been brutally honest about what led her to seek professional assistance in the first place. She had low self-esteem. She had an eating disorder. She snorted A LOT of cocaine . At one point, in fact, Lovato now admits that she thought she’d be long gone by now. As in… dead. “I lived fast and I was going to die young,” Lovato says in the latest issue of American Way. “I didn’t think I would make it to 21.” Now 23, Lovato battled drug and alcohol addictions as a teenager. She was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Through the years, the singer has spoken candidly about her personal struggles, doing the same now with the pages of American Airlines’ inflight magazine. In this cover story, Demi recalls how she used to self-medicate with alcohol, cocaine and OxyContin. Her mother, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, and Lovato’s grandmother had both struggled with bulimia, according to the star. “Even though I was 2 or 3 years old,” the singer told the magazine. “Being around somebody who was 80 pounds and had an active eating disorder…it’s hard not to grow up like that.” In a previous interview, Lovato said she used to smuggle hard drugs on to airplanes . View Slideshow: 22 Times Demi Lovato Has Kept It Real But Demi says she took her last drink January 2012 and continues to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. “When I have meet-and-greets, I can’t tell you the amount of times that girls will show me their arms covered in scars or cuts,” Lovato tells American Way, having been a cutter herself as a child. “They’ll tell me, ‘You helped me get through this. Because of you, I stopped self-harming,’ or ‘I got sober.’ Hearing those things gave my life new meaning.” She concludes: “At times I was resentful for having that kind of responsibility. But now, it’s really become a part of my life. It holds me accountable.” We love and admire you, Demi Lovato.

Jesse Williams Inspires Us All with BET Awards Speech

Jesse Williams may not have been a household name prior to the 2016 BET Awards. He's grown in popularity as a key cast member on Grey's Anatomy, but he's still flown under the Hollywood radar for the most part. That's because Williams is more likely to help out with an important cause then have lunch at The Grove… … but that's also why he was honored at the aforementioned ceremony. In accepting the Humanitarian Award, Williams earned a standing ovation, thanking both his parents and his wife before dedicating his award to “the real organizers all over the country,” those he said are realizing that “a system built to divide and impoverish and destroy us cannot stand if we do.” The actor continued: “The more we learn about who we are and how we got here, the more we will mobilize,” prior to acknowleding black women, “who have spent their lives dedicated to nurturing everyone before themselves. We can and will do better for you.” Williams worked as a history teacher before he started acting. He's a member of the board of directors at both The Advancement Project (a national civil rights organization) and Sankofa, a social justice organization founded by Harry Belafonte. The latter works to unite artists and grassroot partners to elevate the voices of the disenfranchised. Freedom is always coming in the hereafter. But, you know what, the hereafter is a hustle. We want it now,” Williams said, concluding as follows: We’ve been floating this country on credit for centuries and we’re done watching and waiting while this invention called whiteness uses and abuses us, burying black people – out of sight and out of mind – while extracting our culture, our dollars, our entertainment like oil, black gold, ghettoizing and demeaning our creations then stealing them, gentrifying our genius and then trying us on like costumes before discarding our bodies like rinds of strained fruit. The thing is though… the thing is that just because we’re magic doesn’t mean we’re not real. Beautiful stuff. Inspiring stuff. Watch the full speech below.
