9 Memorable Mad Men Moments: Sex, Drugs and Lawnmower Mishaps!

With the seventh and final season of Mad Men premiering this Sunday, we thought it would be a good time to relive some of the most jaw-dropping moments from the acclaimed series’ first six seasons. 9 Memorable Mad Men Moments Open Slideshow 1. Lane Price and Pete Campbell Fight Lane and Pete go at it. Lane won the fight but this season, um…didn’t end well for him. View As List 1. Lane Price and Pete Campbell Fight Lane and Pete go at it. Lane won the fight but this season, um…didn’t end well for him. 2. The Sterling-Cooper Lawnmower Incident A tragic mishap in the Sterling-Cooper offices. Well, tragically hilarious, anyway. 3. Betty Draper Shooting Pigeons Betty took her frustrations out on some neighborhood birds. She became a somewhat character in seasons since. 4. Kiernan Shipka as Sally Draper Don’s daughter has had too many memorable moments to choose just one. It’s been a pleasure watching her grow into a sassy teenager. 5. Mad Men: JFK Assassination Scene Mad Men memorably tackled a day that brought the nation to its knees. Just one of many historical events the series has vividly brought to life. 6. Don Draper Hits Rock Bottom Don was a drunken mess for most of season four. He drinks a lot, but now he manages to do his job…for the most part. 7. Peggy Olson Smokes Weed Elisabeth Moss puts her foot down as Peggy Olson. That girl really wanted to get high. 8. Roger Sterling: Drunk For Pearl Harbor Day Every day is an occasion to drink for Roger Sterling. Though he got especially plastered (and bigoted) on Pearl Harbor Day. 9. Don Draper Crying Don broke down and showed his human side after learning about the death of a friend. We’re sure the final season will hold many more emotional moments for Don. Some scenes will never leave out mind (You don’t see lawnmowers in office buildings for a reason, people!), while others we had all but forgotten about (Remember when Betty was a gun-toting badass! Neither did we!) and w ith 78 episodes already in the books, it was no easy task choose just a few favorite clips. Some fans might consider the show’s finest moment to be the unforgettable declaration, “My name is Peggy Olson, and I want to smoke some marijuana,” while we’re certain at least a few others would cast their vote for the time meek Lane Price “kicked the crap” out weaselly Pete Campbell. Part of what’s made Mad Men such an enduring hit among critics and audiences alike is the way the show manages to blend gut-wrenching human drama with jet black humor – sometimes within the same scene. But whether it’s the humor or the heartache that keeps bringing you back to the offices of SCDP, we hope you’ll agree that the scenes in the gallery above reflect some truly stand-out moments from our favorite ad men. And don’t forget: if you need to catch up before the final season you can watch Mad Men online at TV Fanatic!

Angelina Jolie Lookalike Forces Deliveryman to Bang Her at Knifepoint, Stabs Him Six Times

Luminita Perijoc, a 31-year old Romanian who prides herself on resembling Angelina Jolie, has been sentenced to four years in prison after stabbing a deliveryman six times. The incident occurred after she made this same man perform oral sex on her at knifepoint. According to court documents, the victim (Nicolae Stan) was delivering wine to Perijoc’s apartment when she threatened him with a four-inch blade and prompted him to undress. She demanded vaginal and oral sex from Stan and, when he was unable to get an erection for  a third go-around, she thrust her knife into him six times. The victim was somehow able to escape to Perijoc’s and call the police from his cell phone. A judge initially sentenced Perijoc’s to five years behind bars, but the sentence was reduced after she claimed to be on medication at the time of the attack. “I think she wasn’t used to anyone saying no because she flew into a rage when I declined,” Stan said . “When I refused she attacked me with a knife, and forced me to have sex with her but she still stabbed me.” Stan is a married father of three and says he understand folks may mock him for turning down someone who (sort of) looks like Angelina Jolie, but… They don’t understand why I refused her, but they do not know what it is like to have a mad woman yelling at you at knifepoint,” he said. “They look at her, then look at me and laugh. But I think anyone would find it impossible to perform with a knife at their throat, even if they were with Miss Romania.” We’d have to agree with that statement. 9 Celebrity Disney Princess Doppelgangers Open Slideshow 1. Isla Fisher & Ariel Joanna Garcia holds her own on Once Upon a Time, but we’d say Isla Fisher even better resembles Ariel from The Little Mermaid. View As List 1. Isla Fisher & Ariel Joanna Garcia holds her own on Once Upon a Time, but we’d say Isla Fisher even better resembles Ariel from The Little Mermaid. 2. Anne Hathaway & Belle With the proper styling, Anne Hathaway would make a perfect Belle from Beauty and the Beast. 3. Ellen Page & Snow White Ellen Page (Juno, Inception) has definite Snow White-like qualities. 4. Blake Lively & Aurora Blake Lively would make a great Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty … at least until Vivienne Jolie-Pitt grows up. 5. Nina Dobrev & Esmeralda The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev certainly resembles Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. 6. Fredia Pinto & Jasmine Freida Pinto and Jasmine from Aladdin might be the most obvious of them all. 7. January Jones & Cinderella She may be a bit older than you’d expect, but January Jones still just about perfectly embodies the look of Cinderella. 8. Julia Jones & Pocahontas Julia Jones (Leah Clearwater from Twilight) bears a strong resemblance to Pocahontas, which is no surprise due to the actress’ Native American ethnicity. 9. Rachel Lefevre & Merida Speaking of Twilight, Rachel Lefevre (Victoria) would be great as Brave’s unlikely princess Merida.

‘Breaking Dawn’ Star ‘Like A Zombie’ On Last Day Of Shooting

‘She’s gone; you’re not putting these clothes back on,’ Julia Jones recalls to MTV News of saying goodbye to her character, Leah. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Julia Jones Photo: MTV News After filming “Eclipse” and the two-part “Breaking Dawn,” Julia Jones can call herself a “Twilight Saga” veteran. But that doesn’t mean she found going to Comic-Con for the first time any less intimidating. MTV News caught up with Jones in San Diego after the “Breaking Dawn” cast’s packed Hall H panel . Unfortunately, her castmates hadn’t given her much of a heads-up about the insanity of Comic-Con. “We’ve been in front of a lot of people before but this is a new experience for me, Comic-Con,” Jones said. While her fellow castmembers had helped her prepare for the experience of doing fan events for “Eclipse,” Jones said this time they figured she would get the hang of things. “Now I think they just don’t pay attention: ‘She’s been here long enough, she’ll figure it out.’ ” In “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” Jones and the rest of the wolf pack are featured much more than they have been in previous installments, which gave the actress some room to expand on her character, Leah Clearwater. While Leah is characterized by her anger at Bella (Kristen Stewart) and the Cullens in “Eclipse,” in “Breaking Dawn,” fans will see that her rage has been tempered because a good portion of the story is told from werewolf Jacob Black’s (Taylor Lautner) perspective. “I was thrilled when I read [the script] because she really has the opportunity to kind of grow and she’s not so angry anymore,” Jones explained. “I felt relieved for her when I read that, oh, my gosh, she can actually express these things she hasn’t expressed and go somewhere with it.” As for the last day of shooting the “Twilight” series, Jones admitted that she may have shed a few tears in her trailer when director Bill Condon shouted “Cut!” for the last time. The long shoot made it seem as if filming would never end, she explained, and that made saying goodbye that much harder. “For me, personally, the last day, right when we wrapped, I didn’t believe it. I hadn’t even thought that that was possible. I just stood there like a zombie. People started hugging, like, ‘You’re wrapped, you’re wrapped!’ Like, ‘Go, what are you doing? We need to move on,’ ” Jones said with a laugh. “I actually went back to my trailer and I was fine, I was a little in a daze. And I realized as I was taking my costume off that this is it. She’s gone; you’re not putting these clothes back on. And that was kind of a big thing for me.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
