Is Julia Roberts pregnant again? The speculation is swirling after she was spotted in Los Angeles with her stomach hanging out of a baggy sweater. Julia was with her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, at his parents’ home in L.A., when the infamous picture was snapped an the rumors began. The couple has three children, and at age 46, one would assume she’s not expecting any more, but at the same time, the picture speaks volumes. Emma Roberts’ domestic violence arrest stunned the public last week, but to some of the star’s friends, it wasn’t as big of a surprise as you’d think. In fact, they fear she’s headed down a dark path a la Lindsay Lohan. Believe it or not, 22-year-old Emma – Eric Roberts’ daughter and Julia Roberts’ niece – has become deeply immersed in the L.A. party scene. It started, allegedly, when she broke up with Chord Overstreet . When she and the Glee star split up, she started hitting the clubs hardcore and surrounding herself with a crew that may not be the best influence. Because Emma won’t acknowledge any change or problem, friends can’t get through to her. That includes after her alleged fight with Evan Peters. Roberts wouldn’t talk to her friends about the incident with her boyfriend, instead, acting like nothing happened after he declined to press charges. It’s unclear what led to the fight or if she was partying beforehand, but people worry after she gave Peters a bloody nose and a bite mark (allegedly). Since she won’t even acknowledge this, they’re even more alarmed that they may have another Lindsay Lohan or Amanda Bynes on their hands.
Emma Roberts was arrested on a domestic violence charge July 7, according to reports. The incident took place in Canada, and the alleged victim was boyfriend Evan Peters. Emma Roberts, Eric Roberts’ daughter and Julia Roberts’ niece, was taken into custody after someone called police to report a fight in Evan and Emma’s hotel room. Police found Evan with a bloody nose when they arrived, and Emma was arrested. A law enforcement source tells TMZ that Evan also had a bite mark on him. Emma, 22, was released hours later when Evan, 26, declined to press charges. Sources close to Roberts say she and Evan were in fact hitting each other but only she was arrested since he had the obvious physical injuries. The sources deny the bite mark detail and note that the couple is back together and both are working on the upcoming season of American Horror Story . Here’s hoping this Canadian horror story was a one-off.

She was booked Friday night and posted $1,000 bail. A game warden who saw Erin Brockovich-Ellis having trouble docking a boat on her own offered her assistance, and then noticed she had slurred speech. “She was obviously struggling … and if you’ve had any experience, it’s a simple enough operation,” said Edwin Lyngar of the Nevada Department of Widlife. A field sobriety test showed Brockovich-Ellis was “significantly” over the .08 percent legal threshold for operating a boat, says Lyngar, and she was arrested. She has won a slew of awards around the worldwide festival circuit and an Indian Academy Award nomination for titles including Fire , Water and Bollywood/Hollywood , but Indian-born filmmaker Deepa Metha’s latest Midnight’s Children may never be available to Indian audiences because the current government’s aversion to the film, which had its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival , has made the title unpalatable to distributors. The story, written by Salman Rushdie, who himself received a death Fatwa from the late Ayatollah Khomeini for another one of his novels, The Satanic Verses mirrors India’s history told through the emotional coming-of-age of a young man. India’s ruling Congress Party is the same party of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who ruled the world’s largest democracy from the mid-’60s to the late ’70s and again in the ’80s. The story includes a scathing indictment of the Prime Minister who was assassinated in 1984, causing the ire of officials though no outright ban is currently in place. Instead, distributors apparently fear soft reprisals and are avoiding the title. “Salman has often said that the book was his love letter to India,” said Metha as quoted in the Hindustan Times . “I think the film reflects that love. What a pity if insecure politicians deprive the people of India to make up their own minds about what the film means, or does not mean, to them.” This is not the first time that Metha has run afoul of authorities at home. Hindu right-wingers prevented her from filming Water in the country and she shifted production to neighboring Sri Lanka (where she also filmed Midnight’s Children ). And Rushdie’s Satanic Versus remains banned in India. “Ultimately, Midnight’s Children is about the emotional growth of a young man that parallels his country,” said Metha. “An allegory that almost everyone is relating to, despite color, gender, geographic boundaries.” Midnight’s Children will open in 40 countries beginning this fall. Ewan McGregor Joins August: Osage County McGregor will join Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts in The Weinstein Company project. In the film directed by John Wells, McGregor will play Bill Fordham, the estranged husband of Barbara (Roberts) and son-in-law of pill popping matriarch Violet Weston (Streep). A college professor, he left his wife for one of his students, but wants to be there for his family. His marriage is disintegrating and his patience is slowly running thin. Supernatural Thriller Jinn Heads to Theaters Jinn involves ancient mythological creatures who have never been seen in U.S. cinemas before. The premise of the jinn concept, known to over 1 billion people around the world, involves supernatural entities and revolves around creation mythology: “In the beginning, three were created; man made of clay; angels made of light; and a third…made of fire. They are powerful due to their existence in a parallel world, and also because they have free will and can be both good and evil.” A release date will be slated in the coming weeks. San Diego Film Festival Sets Premiere Slate The Sapphires , The Oranges , Grassroots , Quartet and Seven Psychopaths are among the titles set to screen at the San Diego Film Festival, taking place September 26 – 30. The project was formerly known as 300: The Battle of Artemisia and will now be called 300: Rise of an Empire . The title is based on a Frank Miller graphic novel on Greek legend and is set to come out next August, Deadline reports . Lydia Hearst Joins Horror Prequel Cabin Fever: Patient Zero The model/actress and daughter of Patty Hearst has joined the horror reboot from movie outfit Indomina. “The story kicks off when a bachelor party cruise in the Caribbean unexpectedly runs ashore on a medical-research island and a deadly virus is unleashed,” THR reports .
