Jenni Rivera, a native of Long Beach, was 43. Mexico#39;s ministry of transportation did not confirm her death outright, but it said that she had been aboard the plane and that no one had survived the crash. Six others, including two pilots, also were on board. Mexico#39;s Secretary of Communications and Transports, confirm that the remains of the private jet carrying Jenni Rivera have been found, with no survivors. The American Society of Cinematographers recognized a typically diverse, eclectic gang of shooters this morning, singling out cinematographers from four countries — including two first-time nominees — in revealing its 2012 awards nominations. Congratulations to Guillaume Schiffman ( The Artist ), Jeff Cronenweth ( The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ), Robert Richardson ( Hugo ), Hoyte van Hoytema ( Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy ) and Emmanuel Lubezki ( The Tree of Life ) on their nods from the esteemed trade group, which will announce its winner on Feb. 12. Last year’s winner, Inception cinematographer Wally Pfister, continued on to win an Academy Award. The news is arguably another blow for War Horse , which has now been ignored by three awards bodies of varying importance — the ASC, the Directors Guild and the Art Directors Guild — in the last week. Umm… We’re not sure how to feel about this one. But TMZ reports someone out in Hollyweird is trying to come up off of a sextape of Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster. TMZ was approached several days ago by someone claiming to have the sex tape. The person sent us a short video and two photos. We’ll keep this PG-13 and just say … the people in the video are both givers. The video and photos are clear — it’s Usher and Tameka. Sources close to Usher — without specifically admitting the existence of a sex tape — tell us they believe this video could have been among the things Usher had stolen out of his car back in December 2009. Usher reported more than $1,000,000 worth of jewelry and electronics taken — including two laptop computers. A rep for Usher had no comment. Yikes. We definitely could have done without the mental image we now have, much less the real thing. More on this as it develops.

Looks like the final nail has been put in Four Loko’s coffin. It will be hard to find Four Loko and other banned caffeinated alcoholic drinks for sale on Craigslist anymore, state Sen. Jeff Klein said. The popular online trading post pulled the few remaining ads for such beverages, according to a letter it sent to the senator dated Jan. 11, responding to his request. “I applaud craigslist for doing the right thing,” said Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester). “Their decision to remove ads for these dangerous drinks goes a long way in helping save our teens from potentially devastating consequences to their health and their lives.” There were seven ads for Four Loko pulled nationwide, including two in New York State, the website told Klein. Craigslist also searched for ads for other caffeinated alcoholic beverages, such as Moonshot, Joose and Core High Gravity, but did not find any among its millions of pages, the website said. We at Bossip have never had a sip of the drink that has all these kids going ham, but we’re down for it’s removal from stores if it’s gonna have people dying. Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp have been dating for several weeks, according to reports. John announced his separation from wife Elaine just days ago. The actress, 49, and the rock star, 59 spent time together on Martha’s Vineyard and in New York City in recent days, enjoying their newfound romance. A source close to Ryan says they began dating about seven weeks ago, and that Mellencamp and his wife had been separated for awhile before that. Mellencamp has been married three times and has five children, including two sons with Elaine. Ryan has been married once, to actor Dennis Quaid. They divorced in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have a son, Jack Henry, who is 18. Ryan also has a daughter, Daisy True, 6, adopted from China.
