Bill Nye Eliminated on Dancing With the Stars, Goes Out in Style

Bill Nye the Science Guy was given the boot on last night’s Dancing With the Stars results show, but at least he went out in style with his final routine. After ignoring doctors’ orders to stay off his torn quadricep, the 57-year-old opted instead to dance a modified “jazz” routine to Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky.” It was … awkward. And ridiculous, yet brave and sort of awesome. Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein – Dancing with the Stars Karina Smirnoff spoke of the “superb job” Bill’s partner Tyne Stecklein did at constructing a story and dance around essentially a man with a peg leg. It was pretty impressive, if you look at it from Tyne’s end. Despite Nye’s best efforts at wooing the judges with his strange, hobbled sex-robot routine, the couple was the second to be voted off the show in Season 17. Dancing With the Stars Semifinals Recap: Attack of the Perfect 10s!

With four spots in the Dancing With the Stars finals on the line this week, the question was whether Jacoby Jones and Ingo Rademacher would get the fourth. Based on last night, it looks like the former has the clear edge. Kellie Pickler and Zendaya Coleman were also strong, while soap opera star Ingo, despite his pair of respectable efforts, ended up at the bottom. Dancing With the Stars Results: The (Sean) Lowe Point of the Season?

Who will advance to the final five on Dancing With the Stars? Kellie Pickler, Aly Raisman and Zendaya Coleman. No doubt. The three women have been the best all season long, leaving two spots – and three men vying for them – as we headed into this evening’s results show. Given this week’s scores, Jacoby Jones appeared to have the edge over Ingo Rademacher and Sean Lowe, who came in a distant last Monday. In fact, it looked very difficult for The Bachelor to pull this out, and he did end up in the bottom two – along with NFL star Jacoby, in a bit of a surprise. Did he? Dancing With the Stars Results: Did Andy Dick Survive?

Who will advance to the final six on Dancing With the Stars? Kellie Pickler. That we knew going in, given that she earned immunity last night. For everyone else, it left six people vying for five spots in the field. Who got them? Were there any big surprises? Let’s find out! Given Monday night’s scores, the celebs in danger coming into this evening pretty much made sense – Andy Dick, Ingo Rademacher and Jacoby Jones. Sean Lowe was safe early on, leaving the three of those fellas at risk. Of the three, Dick seemed like the odds-on favorite to get the boot. But did he?
