Katherine Heigl has made her return to television. Following a successful run on Grey’s Anatomy (which ended in disaster) and then a very un successful run on the big screen, the actress has now debuted as Charleston Tucker on NBC’s State of Affairs. But Charleston just can’t shake her personal demons, most of which are centered on her fiance’s death and which also hide Tucker’s own major secret. Katherine Heigl’s career is not what it used to be. The actress is set to star in the independent film Jenny’s Wedding … provided it can get funding. Producers for the Mary Agnes Donoghue-directed project have created an Indiegogo campaign, asking for donations to reach a goal of $150,000. “How’s the funding going?” TMZ asked the former Grey’s Anatomy star. “If your movie doesn’t getting the funding … would you be willing to fill in the extra amount?” “I haven’t made that much in the last few years, man,” said Heigl, who has two little kids with her husband Josh Kelley. “I gotta support my family.” According to the San Francisco-based crowdfunding site, Katherine’s would-be film has only raised $32,311 so far since it started on February 11. Former Grey’s Anatomy cast member T.R. Knight has married his boyfriend, known only (to us) as Patrick, after three years together, Us Weekly reports . The 40-year-old actor tied the knot with Patrick Friday in an intimate ceremony in New York City. His former co-star Katherine Heigl even flew in for it. T.R. is currently starring as Mercutio in an off-Broadway production of Romeo & Juliet alongside Elizabeth Olsen, but took the weekend off for the occasion. “It [was] very small and quiet,” a source told the celebrity news magazine. ”[The] cast wishes they could go too, but they all congratulated him.” Knight starred on Grey’s Anatomy from 2005-09 before leaving by request.
