Source: Atlantic Records Florida Rapper Admitted He Lied To Obtain Firearms Following Rape Charges Kodak Black has begged a federal judge to go easy on him ahead of his sentencing this week for lying in order to buy a semiautomatic gun , BOSSIP has learned. Lawyers for the incarcerated rapper filed court papers last week saying that a lowball sentence of three to three and a half years in prison would be appropriate for his admitted crime of lying on a gun sales application even though he was banned from purchasing firearms because he’s out on bond for rape charges involving a high school student. The 22-year-old artist pled guilty over the summer to one count of making a false statement in connection with the acquisition or attempted acquisition of a firearm. The maximum sentence for the crime is 10 years. Black’s legal team argued that their client’s gun charge was a crime of deception rather than possession and that he took full responsibility once he was arrested. They said gang members had been making death threats against him and his staff were so fearful that they started ferrying him around in a bulletproof car. Black’s lawyers also cited his poverty-stricken upbringing in the projects, the fact that he’s supporting and parenting his toddler son, King and his charitable work for children in his native South Florida. The judge will sentence the “Tunnel Vision” rapper later this week.

She opened up about these frustrations on Instagram after an incident with her four-year-old son, Genesis, who she took to the nail salon recently. While they were there, the toddler struggled with whether or not to go through with getting the rainbow colored nail polish he wanted. “He’s in the chair and he’s like, ‘I want [a] rainbow.’ So he tells the lady that he wants rainbow colors on his nails. And she brings all of these colors and she paints each nail a different color. And after she painted his nails, he looked at me and he said, ‘Mommy, I don’t want this on my nails,’” Keys said. When the songstress asked her son why, Genesis went on to explain that could have problems with the colors on his nails. “Can you believe this? 4 years old. It gets concerning to me that we can’t just explore these different sides of ourselves. These different energies that are within us.” She continued, “Even for me, myself, I oftentimes express the masculine energy that’s inside of me. And, all the time, if that happens, there are the judgments, and there’s the stereotypes, and there are all the energies that come towards that. And for my boys, [it’s] similar, if they want to express the feminine energy that’s inside of them. In a new interview with Radar Online, the polarizing mother of Jenelle Evans has plenty to say about both her own daughter and also Amber Portwood, but we felt it necessary open with this revealing tidbit. This revelation aside (unless you still need a moment to digest it…), the crux of Barbara’s interview centered on two people and two facts: Her daughter, Jenelle, who was fired by MTV executives this spring after authorities temporarily took away her kids in the wake of David Eason murdering his family’s dog. Portwood, who remains a cast member on Teen Mom OG despite her July 5 arrest for domestic violence. In recently-released audio, we’ve learned over the past few days that Portwood seemingly beat and threatened boyfriend Andrew Glennon on numerous occasions, prompting Barbara to ask a pertinent question: How is she still a Teen Mom star?!? Moreover… how is Amber still a Teen Mom star while Jenelle is not?!? “Why should Jenelle and I lose our money, and why is MTV supporting Amber when Jenelle and I have done nothing wrong?” Barbara asks Radar . “We were on [the show] for 10 years too, and they stopped filming with us.” Adds Barbara, in total consternation: “Why is this fair? Why were we let go, and she wasn’t?” Barbara, of course, has been relevant on Teen Mom for years because she’s been serving as the guardian of Jenelle’s oldest child, Jace. She and Jenelle have had quite the contentious relationship, often arguing over both this custody arrangement and Jenelle’s past drug use, among other ways and reasons why she’s largely considered an unfit mothre. Does Barbara have a point here? Yes and no. Jenelle absolutely should have been fired for both lying about Eason attacking her last fall and then for allowing her children to grow up in a home that also houses such a violent bigoy. No one can argue with a straight face that Jenelle deserves the platform and/or salary afforded to her by MTV. Now… should Portwood also be fired? In light of her arrest and the subsequent information that has come out about this long-time star? Probably, but one really has nothing to do with the other. It’s also worth noting that Portwood almost definitely WILL be fired anyway . This, despite the following hilarious defense of Amber by an anonymous Radar source: “Amber didn’t kill a dog. And she has not been convicted of a crime.” Techically, Jenelle didn’t kill a dog, either. But point taken. Still, in the aforementioned audio recording that leaked late last week, Amber allegedly exploded at Andrew… with their toddler in the room. Hiw crime? Amber Portwood is not going down without a fight. Hmmm… okay, fair enough: That may not be the best phrase to use when it comes to this troubled Teen Mom OG star. But the general point remains: Portwood is doing everything she can to remain close to her son. As previously reported, Andrew Glennon has filed a legal motion to take the estranged couple’s one-year old son to California. He seemingly wants to move halfway across the country with little James, likely to try and start over after Amber was arrested on July for felony assault. According to Glennon and the police report from that incident, Portwood attacked both her boyfriend and even her baby (indirectly, but still) with a shoe and then with a machete. Now, however, Portwood has filed her own motion in response to that of Glennon. She wants to legally ban him from residing in California with James. “Mother objects to the relocation and believes that it is not in the best interest of the child to relocate to California,” the court papers read. They continue: “Mother requests that Father’s Notice of Intent to Relocate be denied. Mother is requesting that the court enter an order preventing the relocation of the child.” Andrew has alleged that his employment and family are in California, and that he has no ties to Indiana, but Portwood counters this claim as follows: “Father has previously been employed as a day trader which can be done from any location,” adding that Glennon’s basis for his desired move is “disingenous.” There’s also no proposal in Glennon’s official filing for just how he and Amber would co-parent from afar. This is likely because Glennon thinks Amber hates being a mom and is a terrible mom and probably shouldn’t really be an active mom at all. As things stand right now, Glennon has custody of James and Amber is only permitted to see the toddler under the supervision of a court-approved adult. It looks like she may see her son soon, though, because Portwood shared the above photo four days ago and wrote as a caption to it: Love you and see you soon little bubba. Earlier this week, as part of a Teen Mom reunion special, Portwood denied allegations that she used a machete back in July, trashing Glennon for being downright insane . But Andrew then fired back with some very personal and revealing allegations. In a social media rant just yesterday, Glennon told followers about the “the landslide of abuse that I had to endure the past entire year.” “It changed me,” continued Glennon painfully. “She broke me down psychologically. I became more silent, I hesitated before speaking, what she did literally altered my speech pattern. I needed to be prescribed medication for anxiety which I have never had in my life… “I’m not going to be silent until your dust settles. I’ve been silent for too long. Meghan King Edmonds has penned a blog entry in which she opens up about something personal and painful. Titled “My Hart,” this post by the former Real Housewives of Orange County star delves in the state of Hart, one of her twin boys, who was born along with brother Hayes in June of 2018. “From the minute he was born I knew something was different with Hart,” wrote the long-time Bravo personality over this past weekend, adding: “The nurses struggled to straighten his legs to measure his length. He suckled hard, shallow, and often until I bled and he spit up black.” Edmonds, who was recently in the news because her husband has been accused of having an affair while she was pregnant with these boys, went on to write that she took Hart to see a pediatric ophthalmologist for a couple of reasons: He couldn’t see his hands, for example, and his eyes remained crossed for too long. The reality star says she was told nothing was the matter with Hart, but she refused to accept this as an answer. “I just knew,” Meghan continues. “I told our pediatrician – she said he was fine. I begged for a neurologist referral and when I got it – he said he was fine. I then begged for a neurologist who specializes in Cerebral Palsy (I jumped through hoops to get this appointment, so many hoops) and she said he might be fine. “I then begged for an MRI.” Via “an elective MRI with anesthesia,” as Edmonds describes it, a diagnosis was finally made. “I sat at a table with my husband for an hour as we waited for Hart to come out of the MRI. Tears gushed from my eyes as I blankly stared at the cars on the highway – but I wasn’t crying,” she recalled in this blog post. “My husband asked me what he could do. ‘Get me a Coke.’ Those tears were for a lot of things, but mostly the unknown and mostly Hart.” Three days after the exam, the toddler’s neurologist called. He relayed the awful news. “Hart has minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain (namely the white matter), but more so on his right,” Edmonds revealed, explaining in further detail: “She said that this explains all of my concerns: the rigidity in his muscles, the (somewhat) delayed physical milestones, the lack of fluidity with arm and leg movements, the stiffness in joints, the weakness in his lower back, the somewhat favored use of his right side. “She told me this mainly occurs in premies and since he was not a premie (he was born at 37 weeks gestation) she believes this damage somehow occurred ‘a couple months before he was born.’ “She explained that he is at risk for being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and will be monitored.” Edmonds previously opened up about her reaction to her husband’s misdeeds . But this admission is even more raw and unimaginable. “Hart has irreversible brain damage, it’s called PVL,” Meghan says. “Like I said, I already knew.” Referencing her husband and his reaction, along with how she chose to view the situation, Edmonds adds: “That night Jimmy and I went out to dinner for the first time in weeks. “I explained to Jimmy how we are not somehow compromised or punished for having a child with special needs (whatever that may or may not mean!), we are BLESSED. I will go on about this another time but just know that I do not see his diagnosis as anything but a gift: we were chosen to take on this special person. “I truly feel as if we’ve doubled down and won the underdog hand. Truly.” And Edmonds is stillt trying tomake the best out of the situation. She’s still trying to remain as positive as possible. “I pray for a miracle and I grapple with how to navigate his life,” she wrote. “This is a heavy challenge as a mother: where do we go from here? This is where: one foot in front of the other.” We applaud Edmonds for her candid post and we send her and her loved ones the very best during this difficult journey.

The latest (SERIOUS!) transgression took place early on the morning of July 5, when Portwood got arrested for felony domestic assault . The victim? Andrew Glennon, Amber's long-term boyfriend and the father of her one-year old son. According to a 911 dispatch call, Glennon feared for his toddler's life . Like we said: SERIOUS stuff. Let’s Start with What Happened Around 3 a.m. on July 5, Glennon texted 911 (this is permitted in the state of Indiana) and said that Amber attacked him while he was holding little James. 2. YIKES A spokesperson for the Indiana Police Department spoke to Radar Online and confirmed what led to Portwood’s arrest, telling the celebrity gossip website: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child.” 3. Now What? Portwood was taken into custody on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. She is due in court for a hearing on July 8. 4. There’s a History Here A pretty major one: Amber was arrested back on 2010 for also attacking then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. 5. For Jenelle Evans and David Eason, the nightmare is finally over. According to various outlets, the VERY polarizing reality stars are about to get their children back. This judicial decision marks the end of a several week odyssey that started back when Eason shot his family's dog dead , child protection services then intervened… and authorities determined that the parents were not raising their kids in a safe environment. What has now changed? What, exactly, has a judge decreed? And where does Jenelle go from here? Scroll down for every answer… 1. This Has Been Quite the Saga Jenelle has three kids. Her oldest son, Jace, is under the care of his grandmother and Jenelle’s mom, Barbara. But her youngest two kids, a four-year old named Kaiser and two-year old named Ensley, live with her and husband Eason. 2. At Least They DID Live with Them Between Jenelle’s history of drug use and Eason’s history of violence, fans always believed these two were unfit parents. But it took Eason shooting and killing the family dog to get authorities involved. 3. Yes, This Really Happened Eason claimed the small dog snapped at Ensley, but the video he provided as so-called proof did not make it look like the toddler was in danger at all. 4. And Even If She Was? Eason could have grabbed the dog and driven it away to a shelter of some kind. Amid the ongoing controversy of Jenelle and husband David Eason losing custody of their children (because their home is an unsafe enviroment, as recently proven by David’s assassination of a family pet ), Barbara Evans has been thrust back into the spotlight. She has been serving as the primary caregiver for Jenelle’s first-born, Jace, for many years now. But Barbara is now also in charge of two-year old Ensley … … and she wants the world to know that the toddler is happy, healthy and having tons of fun these days. “Having fun at coast guard Day,eating hot dogs,frozen ice,and learning about rescue equipment,” Evans wrote as a caption to the photos above and below of her grandkids. She shared these images on Saturday, June 1 and continued to receive praise from followers who are grateful that Barbara is giving the children a loving home. It’s a complicated and somewhat fluid situation. However, a North Carolina judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care” and the kids were removed last month after Eason killed the reality star’s dog because he allegedly snapped at Ensley. Barbara showed support for her daughter after the ruling several days ago, but also for the well-being of her young loved ones. “Of course I would like for Jenelle to get them all back eventually,” she told E! While Kanye flashed probably the most affordable look at the gala — which was themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion” inspired by a seminal 1964 essay by Susan Sontag — his reality star wife, of course, meant business. Kim donned a custom beaded latex Thierry Mugler dress that took EIGHT months to create. “This is the first time in 20 years Mr. Mugler has designed for the House of Mugler,” Kim told Vogue on Monday. “So to come and design this gown for me is such an honor.” “This is about eight months in the making… he envisioned me this California girl stepping out of the ocean, wet, dripping,” she said. And while she definitely conquered the unique, damp look — people could not stop talking about her extremely tiny waist. After Kim strutted her humongous booty and was literally dripping in crystals on the ~pink~ carpet of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art — everyone instantly went nuts. US Magazine reports that former Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft inspired a controversy of her own by criticizing the reality star’s frame . On Monday, May 6 — hours after Kardashian’s appearance — Rycroft posted a side-by-side comparison of Kim’s 2019 and 2015 gala looks. “Not natural … and not something young ones should be looking up to,” the Bachelorette alum wrote in her caption, referring to Kardashian’s hour-glass silhouette. “Not to mention it doesn’t even look right,” she said adding the hashtag #metgalafail. With the firing of one gun, and the bashing of two fists, former Teen Mom 2 terror David Eason sparked an intense debate. As previously and sadly reported, the former reality star shot and killed his family’s beloved dog , Nugget, several days ago. All because Jenelle Evans’ husband claimed the canine had snapped at their daughter and placed the toddler in danger. The fallout from this vicious act has been swift and direct. Late yesterday, Jenelle Evans was fired by Teen Mom 2. After sponsors and co-stars spoke out about their disgust – and fear of filming around Eason or Evans – producers of the MTV hit had no choice but to axe her. (The future of David and Jenelle’s marriage also appears to be in doubt, as it has been for some time.) But here’s the question maybe not enough people are asking in the aftermath: Was David Eason really in the wrong here? He claimed to be protecting his daughter — and isn’t that a father’s responsiblity? Heck, his only real responsiblity, in the end? With this controversial story dominating every headline, we thought it was time to stop and engage in this difficult discussion. So we’ve posed the following question to various members of The Hollywood Gossip staff: DID NUGGET DESERVE TO DIE? This is what they have to say on the topic… NO by Simon Delott First and foremost, Nugget didn’t maul Ensley. He’s a small dog who nipped at a human child. Literally no dog deserves to die, regardless of the dog’s actions, because dogs are incapable of evil. I don’t mean that all dogs are precious babies who I love and adore… although this is true. Dogs lack the means to commit a deliberate act of evil. They simply lack the capacity. Humans and a few other animals – such as dolphins – can do evil things. We can be evil. David Eason: Watch My Dog Attack My Kid and Sign Its Own Death Warrant! A great example of that is David Eason, who was irredeemable years before he murdered Nugget. (Remember, he was accused of domestic violence long before he hooked up with Jenelle. And then he almost definitely broke Jenelle’s collarbone last October, as well.) David has also been accused of violence towards dogs before, allegedly firing a BB gun at another dog. The dude is a monster, pure and simple. If a dog is truly dangerous around your child, which Nugget was not, you re-home the dog. Nugget deserved better. All of Jenelle’s children deserve better. At this point, we’d rather have dinner with Omarosa and Abby Lee Miller than spend a single minute in the company of this psychopath. He wasn’t exactly a fan favorite before, but then the guy goes and cements his reputation as the absolute worst by savagely murdering a seven-pound French bulldog?!? Did he Google “things everyone hates” and then say, “Oh, dog killer! There’s something I haven’t tried!” In case I haven’t already made my take on the situation perfectly clear – no, poor little Nugget did not deserve to die. Even if – as David claims – the dog bit his daughter (that almost certainly did NOT happen, by the way), few people on the planet have more options with regard to how to handle that problem. Jenelle and David live on a huge plot of land with several outbuildings. The Land, as they commonly refer to it. It would have been very easy to keep the dog sequestered until they found him a new home. And that step would’ve been simple too, given their popularity; Jenelle has millions of social media followers. We’re sure one of them would’ve made the trip to North Carolina in order to adopt a piece of Teen Mom 2 history. But all of this is secondary to the main point, which is that David didn’t kill the dog because he was concerned for his kids. He did it because he’s awful and out of control, and nothing about his past behavior would ever suggest otherwise. NO by Hilton Hater Look, life can be messy and life can be complicated. But there’s one life lesson that I’ve always tried to heed, which has thus far paid off very well over the years: Do the opposite of anything David Eason does or says. Where Eason goes out and buys all the semi-automatic weapons he can find and then shows them off online, I believe we need to have stricter gun control laws in this country. Where Eason hates on gay people and bullies strangers on social media due to their sexual preferences, I try to be accepting of everyone, regardless of race or gender or identity. Where Eason uses his bare hands to beat a dog bloody and then takes it into the woods and puts a bullet in it, I make sure my dog is well fed and has plenty of water and affection and exercise on a daily basis.
