We have an update on the troubling Amber Portwood situation. As you very likely know by now, the Teen Mom OG star was arrested early in the morning of July 5 after she allegedly attacked Andrew Glennon. Making matters even more troubling and worrisome? Glennon was holding the couple's one-year old son, James, in his hands at the time. Pretty scary stuff all around, as Amber was booked on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. For the latest on what is going on with Portwood, along with what she allegedly did to Glennon, scroll down and click around… 1. What Do We Know About This Arrest? Portwood was taken into custody by Indiana police around 6 a.m. last Friday. 2. Did She Really Assault Glennon? Yes. According to the official police report, Andrew sent a text message to 911 at 2:14 a.m. that read simply “I need help. My life and my son’s life is in danger.” 3. What Happened, Exactly? This is what we’ve now learned. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Ryan Salisbury is on record as saying an argument between Amber and Andrew commenced around 2 a.m. 4. This is What Amber is Accused of Doing: “Ms. Portwood grew increasingly agitated until she struck him with her shoe in the right side of his neck,” Salisbury wrote in the court document. 5. She Hit Andrew with a Shoe?!? Correct. And it sounds as if Portwood has confirmed this allegation as well. 6. Portwood Reportedly Admitted This “Ms. Portwood stated that she did indeed strike (her boyfriend) with a shoe,” Salisbury also wrote, adding: “But stated that ‘it was in the shoulder and I barely hit him.'” View Slideshow
Investing time in a TV show is no small task. As such, it's not too much to ask for a conclusion that feels not only warranted but bittersweet. Sadly, that thought was lost on the creative forces behind these shows because the final episodes sucked. Hard. Have a look below to find out just what we're talking about here. 1. Game of Thrones Daenerys went all Mad Queen, so her lover/nephew took it upon himself to end her reign. As Dany embraced Jon, he stabbed her. Drogon retaliated by not burning Jon to smithereens. Instead, the creature melted the Iron Throne, before picking up his mother’s corpse and flying away. Oh, and Bran who will always be remembered as that kid with white eyes who mumbled for eight seasons was made King. 2. True Blood Sookie killed Bill because it hurt him that she couldn’t live a normal life or something. She moved on with some random dude several years later and seemed happier than she’s ever been. It was like the previous seven seasons did not exist. Slap in the face? Totally. 3. How I Met Your Mother The whole show was about a dude telling his kids how he met their mother. After meeting the said mother, she was killed off in the series finale. In essence, the previous nine seasons were a waste. Even Barney and Robin didn’t get their happy ending. AWFUL. 4. Dexter Dexter bumped off his sister, left his son to be raised by a serial killer. The biggest kicker? Dexter became a lumberjack. We could argue that he could put his knife skills to good use, but the finale was utter nonsense. Even worse, some fans are still calling for a revival. Just leave Dexter to play with his wood. Pun intended. 5. Lost Lost was a groundbreaking series that kept viewers glued to the screen for six whole seasons. Early into the show’s second season, fans started to wonder whether the characters were dead and stuck in limbo. That was vehemently denied by everyone associated with the show. So, you can imagine how viewers felt when the series finale confirmed our heroes were, indeed, dead. 6. Gossip Girl On paper, the series finale was great. Chuck and Blair got married, and Dan and Serena got married. Shippers got their wishes, but the fundamental issue with the final installment was that Dan was revealed to be Gossip Girl. W hen a group of high school seniors from New York learned that their classmate Ilijah Barron would be missing prom due to his ongoing battle with bone cancer, they were determined to make sure that he could experience the special day. Since Barron was unable to attend prom, the Liverpool High School students joined forces and organized a celebration for him at the hospital, Syracuse.com reported. Initially many people thought the pain was a result of playing sports, but after several tests doctors discovered a tumor in one of his legs. He was diagnosed in February and has been in and out of the hospital ever since. Barron was planning on going to his senior ball but ended up in the hospital two days before the event. With the help of his mother Nelisha , his friends were able to organize a prom celebration for Barron at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. They all dressed up in gowns and suits and transformed the 11th floor of the hospital into the perfect backdrop for a prom celebration. The group listened to music and ate food from Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. Barron was moved to tears by the effort made by his friends to make sure that he would be able to experience prom. “I loved it,” he told the news outlet. “It was the most special moment ever. Having everybody there, all my friends. And it was my first high school dance.” Barron is not letting cancer get in the way of what he wants to accomplish. He still supports his school’s football team and has continued to excel academically. “I never sat down and said, ‘Why me?’” he said in a statement , after being named a Young and Amazing award recipient. “There’s no point in that, because it was only going to hurt me in the long run. A star of Little People, Big World has some rather huge news to share: Tori Roloff is officially very pregnant! Yes, the reality star confirmed that she’s expecting a second child with husband Zach back on May 13. But a statement is one thing. Sharing the above photo of a very clear and very cute baby bump is another. “Baby is starting to make her appearance,” the 28-year old TLC personality captioned a mirror selfie that depictured her smiling while she cradled said bump late last week. The special photo came about two weeks after Tori and Zach delivered their exciting piece of news. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother!” they told Us Weekly at the time, adding that they had already found out the impending child’s gender: “We cannot wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” Tori is due in November. Fans can expect plenty of updates in the meantime, however, as Tori and Zach are psyched to be adding to their beloved family, which expanded back in May 2017 with the welcoming of son Jackson. The pair have been pretty open ever since about wanting more kids, with Zach even saying he’d love a “pack” of four or five. Tori only wants to talk one pregnancy at a time, however, especially with the star admitting this second one is more challenging than the first . “A lot harder,” Tori told fans several days ago about how this pregnancy compares to the first one, emphasizing however that she isn’t complaining: “But still easy. If that makes sense. I had no symptoms with [Jackson] other than egg aversions. I’ve got all the symptoms this time.” Based on her due date, Roloff is just into her second trimester at the moment. We hope she’s taking it easy these days if she isn’t feeling great and if she has concerns about the heat . Tori, meanwhile, has also been open about there being a “50/50” shot that she gives birth to another dwarf, based on the genes passed down by Zach. “Thank the Lord, Jackson hasn’t really had any significant [health struggles],” Zach recently told Us Weekly, adding: “He’s had a couple ear infections, which can be common with dwarfism. There’s a lot of potentials, but for now it’s too early to tell. “We actually have the same pediatrician for him that was my pediatrician growing up, so that’s been really nice because he’s familiar with dwarfism and those things.” For her part, Tori discussed the issues that occasionally arise with raising a litle person. Along with a gorgeous snapshot of her son on Instagram, Tori wrote the following seven days ago: “I often forget that my son is any different than yours. I forget that he has shorter legs, because he can get around and run just like any other 2 year old. “I forget he has short arms, because he can still reach everything around the house (even the stuff we don’t want him to).” She concluded in this emotional post: I forget that he’s different because he’s so capable and I see nothing other than my mister mister. Today pointed out that he is different and that’s never going to change. He watched as kids (many younger than him) rode rides at a festival here in town and he wasn’t able to join. Jackson wanted so bad to ride the airplanes that went up and down but the height requirement wouldn’t allow him to (which I totally understand!). It was harder for me than it was for him for sure. It was really the first time I was hit in the face with the fact my child is different. Im so proud of my husband and his outlook on it all and even more proud of my son who brushes things off with ease and I pray they both continue to do this. In the end, it was just time. After 16 seasons as an entertaining, talented and devilishly handsome coach on The Voice, Adam Levine has decided to hang up his red chair. Carson Daly confirmed on Friday morning that the Maroon 5 frontman is leaving this beloved NBC competition. Insiders say the singer was annoyed by the rule change this season that did NOT guarantee at least one performer from each coach’s squad advance to the Live Playoffs — and was also irritated he didn’t have a member in the finals. He didn’t hide this irritation, either, when singing with very little passion in front of potential advertisers in New York City at the NBC Upfront Presentation on May 13. Such a lethargic performance sparked anger among network higher-ups, some of whom TV Line claims wanted Levine fired immediately. Instead, both sides appear to have arrived at a mutual decision that Levine’s time on the program had finally come to an end. Levine paid tribute to his lengthy run on the series via a lengthy Instagram caption this afternoon. “About 8 years ago, Mark Burnett convinced us to sign up for this show where you sit in a big red chair with your back turned away from the singers on the stage,” he said to open a message that accompanied an old Rolling Stone cover. “First thank you must go to Mark. We had no idea what we were doing or where it was going. After the first day of shooting, I sat there, stunned. I said to myself ‘Theres [sic] some magic here. Something is definitely happening.’ “It went on to be a life shaping experience that will be close to my heart forever. “Thank you NBC for signing me up. I am truly honored to have been a part of something I’ll always cherish for the rest of my life.” After doling out praise to some of the folks behind the scenes at The Voice, as well as host Carson Daly, Levine went on to single out this past season’s panelists. He started, of course, with the other half of television’s favorite bromance. Thank you to the people behind the scenes who do the real work and make this machine hum. It’s a weird thing to be a member of a royal family in 2019. These days, it’s got its ups and downs, as Meghan Markle learned shortly after marrying Prince Harry last year. Sure, you’re rich and famous, and you could probably still order a low-key beheading if someone really pissed you off. But these days, being a royal is less about hoisting flagons of mead and more about public appearances and philanthropic work. Which is why Harry went back to work just days after Meghan gave birth to the couple’s first child. Just two days after baby Archie entered the world, Harry was in Amsterdam to promote the upcoming Invictus Games. Of course, that was just a day trip, and he was back at Frogmore Cottage in a matter of hours. On Friday, however, Harry headed to Rome to participate in a charity polo event. And it seems he’ll be spending the night alone from Archie for the first time. Now, Meghan and Harry have been catching hate from the British press for their parenting choices pretty much since the day Archie was born. And we’re sure Piers Morgan is already preparing one of his signature, jowl-quaking tirades, in which he’ll accuse Harry of being an absentee dad. But it’s important to note that the event is a benefit for Harry’s Sentebale charity, a Lesotho-based organization that serves victims of the African AIDS crisis. So yeah, it’s a very important cause, and since Harry is the main draw, there’s really no event without him. Thankfully, Harry likely won’t be dignifying the criticism with a response, but his friend and partner Nacho Figeroa responded to a reporter who pointed out that “most fathers” don’t spend nights away from home so soon after the birth of a child. “I’m a father of four, and sometimes duty calls. This is 24 hours away from the house, and I think he’s doing just fine,” Figueroa said. “He’s a wonderful father and very present, and he’s here for an amazing cause.” Maybe Harry should always keep Figueroa around to put the press in its place. The fallout was so bad that the director of the film announced that changes will be made before the films theatrical release. The trailer has managed to rack up over 22 million views but has nearly 500,000 dislikes compared to 291K likes. Twitter collectively lost all of its rings when they got their first glimpse of the CGI blue hedgehog and rightfully so. He looked absolutely a mess thanks to his weird human-like features which included his awkward furry long legs, missing gloves, and his human teeth. As a gamer and a huge fan of the SEGA’s Sonic The Hedgehog I appreciate this. If you’re going to do this movie at least have the most accurate representation of the iconic character as possible. Chances are still high the movie will be a disaster but at least get that part of the film right, the casting of Jim Carey as Dr.Robotnik already seems like a good move on their part.
