90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days star Tim Malcolm has already clapped back at a pair of Pillow Talk stars who’ve spread rumors about him. From the beginning, some viewers of the show have claimed that he’s gay for turning down sex with Jeniffer, or that perhaps he is trans. But clapping back is not the same thing as fully discussing rumors and the truth of their origins. Now, Tim is opening up: At one point, even Tim’s stunningly beautiful lady love, Jeniffer Tarazona, wondered if he was truly interested in women. “Jeniffer’s not the only one that’s said that,” Tim acknowledges while speaking to Entertainment Tonight . “Let’s be honest,” he continues. Tim admits: “There’s a lot of people that have speculated that there’s all kinds of issues going on.” That is an understatement. Some more thoughtless 90 Day Fiance fans have had a field day. They seem to be unaware that ridiculing Tim is indirectly disparaging millions of gay and trans men. “I’m almost 40 years old,” Tim explains. “I want to be in love.” Even those of us who cannot relate even a little bit can appreciate that some people focus on romance. “I know sex is an important part of love,” Tim acknowledges. “But it’s not everything like it used to be.” “My biggest goal was just building a foundation that I thought would be able to last,” he expresses. Tim explains that he made this a priority “because I don’t want to be divorced.” “I’ve waited this long to get married,” Tim points out. “I’ve never been married.” “I think that’s just strange that society just thinks if a man says no then he’s gay,” he expresses. “If a woman says no, it’s fine,” Tim observes. “But it’s like the double standard that society has.” “I kind of laugh about it,” he admits. “I do have some feminine traits. The gay thing was kind of out of left field for me.” Similarly, the odd claims that he might e transgender and, we suppose, afraid of Jeniffer seeing that he doesn’t have a penis to be “laughable.” “The episode that just aired, you saw me get into a hot tub with Jeniffer,” Tim recalls. He continues: “And I saw online that people were literally screen shotting it and looking for scars that I had my ‘breasts’ removed.” While not all trans folks have any surgery at all, a lot of trans men (and some nonbinary folks) get top surgery , removing breast tissue and leaving distinct scars. “It comes with the territory,” Tim admits. “You’re going to get people that just have to come up with these outlandish ideas.” “I’m not transgender,” he affirms. “I think it’s cool for the people that want to do that if that’s what you want to do with your life, but that’s not me.” To be clear, trans people don’t want to do that , they just are who they are. The only thing that they do is live as themselves. But sure. “There’s a lot of back story on that ring and lot more to do than just what the viewers saw,” Tim says of the infamous reused ring he gave Jeniffer. “But obviously I was running out of time,” he explains. Tim adds: “Obviously if I’d had more time maybe I would have went and traded it in or gotten a different ring.” “It’s what I had to work with,” he confesses. “I gave it to her as a promise ring.” “And then maybe I can get her a different engagement ring if that’s the path that we end up taking,” Tim shares. “And, you know, it’s good to go.” Tim keeps a rpetty tight lid on his relationship with Jeniffer and what their endgame might be in this interview. But he does speak about how things end up. “It’s going to go down in history books as wonderful,” Tim gushes. “It is crazy. It is unexpected. It is just going to blow your mind.” “And,” he adds. “The people that are involved in what you’re going to see are going to be the least likely suspects.” Okay. Color us intrigued. The “Wow… That’s Crazy” rapper had a live conversation with Tidal’s Elliott Wilson in front of an audience of fans when he stood up for his professional model bae. Wale, 35 and India Graham , 22, have been displaying their affinity for each other all over social media and fans have been asking questions about his new bae online. It’s unclear what was exactly asked by the fan to Wale, but it set him off on a tangent where he addressed his relationship between him and the mother of his toddler daughter Chloe and his new bae India. “I got one of the most beautiful, powerful, inspirational baby mothers of all time. Brown’s story got international media attention after stars like Kim Kardashian and Rihanna took to social media to support her release. View this post on Instagram did we somehow change the definition of #JUSTICE along the way?? cause….. It’s heart breaking to see a young girl sex trafficked then when she has the courage to fight back is jailed for life! We have to do better & do what’s right. I’ve called my attorneys yesterday to see what can be done to fix this. #FreeCyntoiaBrown pic.twitter.com/73y26mLp7u — Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) November 21, 2017 On Tuesday, Brown did her first ever television interview since being released from prison, and was super candid about her time as a teenage inmate for killing the man who allegedly “bought her for sex.” Cyntoia talked with NBC’s Lester Holt about being granted clemency, living life as a convicted murderer & much more. She takes full responsibility for the murder of Johnny Allen: “He is a victim, you know? He was, he was, his family’s a victim. You know, his friends, the people that knew him, the people that loved him. Like, they had someone snatched away from them. And I did that.” She wants people to see a different side of her: “I want them to see that I’m so much more than the worst thing that I’ve done. You know, I’m so much more than that moment.” She’s changed: “I know there are people looking at me saying ‘okay, well what’s this girl gonna do? And is she really changed? So I feel like it’s an honor to actually be a picture of what rehabilitation looks like. Of what it looks like when we give people a second chance.”
Lee Rosbach has spoken out for the first time about every parent’s worst nightmare. The Below Deck star has given an interview in which he discusses the death of his son, Joshua . As reported in July, the ship captain and reality star lost this child to an accidental overdose just a few months ago. And, as you might obviously expect, Rosbach is still dealing with unimaginable pain in regard to the tragedy. “I deal with it every day. I hate going to sleep, and I hate waking up. There’s a hole there that can’t be filled,” the Below Deck star told the New York Post’s Page Six on Saturday, October 12. He continued, holding nothing back: “And the person who said, ‘time heals all wounds,’ is full of it. It doesn’t. The only thing that time may do for you is allow you to learn the skills you need to cope with the situation that you’re dealing with. “As parents, you’re not designed to bury your children.” Joshua battled addiction for over 20 years prior to his passing. He was found dead this summer at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lee, horrifically, was the person who found his son’s body. “I walked in and he was sitting on the sofa with his head in his hands, and I thought he had just passed out. I felt relieved. I thought he was fine,” Lee told the publication , adding: “Then I went over to give him a hug, and he was cold. He’d gone.” Just incomprehensible all around. Despite his son’s aforementioned substance abuse issues, the reality TV personality added that he thought Josh was doing well before his untimely passing. “He had a DUI conviction about 12 or 13 years ago that he finally got off his record. He’d got himself a car. He was working,” said Rosbach. “We thought we might have hit a milestone.” Lee went on to note how he and his family (the captain has four other children) aren’t alone; thousands of people are lost to drug addiction every year. He plans to help fight the opioid epidemic, but is still searching for the right opportunity: “I don’t want to start something, then not be able to finish it,” Rosbach says. Joshua had been off painkillers and heroin for about six months when he died. Medical examiners told the family that Josh had relapsed and bought pills that appeared to be prescription opioids … but were in fact counterfeits, laced with five different substances including cocaine, heroin and the incredibly powerful, lethal drug Fentanyl. “There’s a lot of guilt that comes with something like this. What if I’d gone over to his house sooner? What if I’d done this? What if I’d done that? I should have made his life easier,” Lee said. “So you carry around a tremendous amount of guilt. And then you have to stop and realize that you can’t prevent the inevitable.” We send our very best wishes to Lee Rosbach and his loved ones. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
I n 2014 the senseless murder of Mike Brown shook the nation. It was that tragic incident where many people, including While Black podcast creator Vince , came to the realization that the string of fatal police-related shootings happening throughout the country were far from being isolated situations and the ugly truths about racism in America were being brought to the forefront. While watching news coverage of the unrest that was unraveling in Ferguson following the 18-year-old’s death, alongside some of his white colleagues at work, Vince couldn’t help but notice how disconnected they were. The detachment and disregard left him feeling unsettled, forgotten, and invisible. He couldn’t wrap his mind around the fact that one could be so detached from an incident that impacted the entire country. He also was appalled by what he says were inaccurate narratives surrounding Brown and what took place that were being perpetuated by the media. It was in this moment where he realized he needed to become a voice for his community and utilize his platform to enlighten folks on what it’s like to be Black in America. After years of using his social media platforms as an avenue to inform and ignite crucial conversations about social and political issues as they relate to the Black community, in 2018 Vince decided to launch the podcast While Black . The name stemmed from the James Baldwin quote “To be a Negro in this country and to be relatively conscious is to be in a rage almost all the time.” He also pulled his inspiration from gems dropped by the late rapper Tupac Shakur about racial and economic inequality in America. “I have an obligation to reach across this color isle and begin to inform white America of what it is to be Black in America. My social channels have a diverse audience and I understood the influence of my reach. I turned my social media feed and my platform into a social justice lightning rod,” Vince told NewsOne. Going beyond the mission of giving individuals insight into the complexities of being Black in America, he also wanted to use the platform to close the knowledge and education gaps within the Black community. “I’m trying to create a platform that can use entertainment and fun to educate us on things that we truly need to be educated on. Whether it is correcting misconceptions, whether it is providing awareness, or whether it is providing additional education or inspiration. I find topics where I feel like there could be gaps within the African American community and I try to fill them.” Cognizant of the fact that the Black experience in America isn’t monolithic, Vince and his cohost Art feature a wide spectrum of guests who are experts in different spaces. From rappers to doctors and wealth building to parenting, the podcast covers a large range of topics. Source: While Black Podcast He says some of the most memorable guests that have been featured on the podcast include musician Okorie “OkCello” Johnson and Black activist Kimoni Sadiq . “Every episode will be with someone who has expertise or credibility in a space. Whether you agree with them or not, it’s thought-provoking, based on reality and provides you with something to chew on.” For Vince, While Black is all about educating and empowering the Black community to take control of their narratives. He also hopes that the moves he’s made with the podcast inspires other Black creators to break into the world of podcasting and often uses his platform to highlight other African American podcasters. Representation is needed in the podcast space. Although more Black podcasts are being created, research shows that hosts are predominately white and male. He says increasing the representation of Black podcast listeners and creators starts with “reminding and reassuring individuals that their perspectives add value to conversations.” As far as what’s on the horizon for the podcast, While Black is partnering with Apple which has one of the world’s largest platforms for podcast discovery and listenership. When asked about what he loves about being Black, Vince replied “We are a culture of people who are constantly evolving. We continue to push into areas and things that most of the world would say we have no business doing. There’s been this awakening inside of us to embody Black, to exude Black, to embrace Black, to codeswitch less, and to not be afraid to be in our own skin.” SEE ALSO: The Obamas Sign Deal With Spotify To Produce Podcasts Entrepreneur Launches Coupon Platform To Support Black-Owned Businesses [ione_media_gallery src=”https://newsone.com” id=”3889769″ overlay=”true”]

As we stand here right in the yard of Howard University, does this look like canceled to you?” and (once again) ranted about slavery. “Next time the slave nets come out, lets all try and not stand in one place,” said Kanye who previously ranted that “slavery was a choice.” Kanye said “if they throwing slave nets again how about we all don’t stand in the same place” and the guitarists face fucking sends me akskksksksskskdj pic.twitter.com/BZOoFjFzXJ — (@asia__vu) October 12, 2019 Yeah, is this STILL y’alls King? This is Atatiana Jefferson. She was 28 yrs old, a graduate of Xavier Univ. and lived w/ her nephew. A Fort Worth, TX cop shot and killed her thru her window as she stood peacefully and unarmed in her own home. Black people are subject to deadly force even when they stay home. pic.twitter.com/09dA2nl3v5 — Kristen Clarke (@KristenClarkeJD) October 13, 2019 Atatiana Jefferson Killed By White Police Officer In Her Home The death of a black woman minding her business in her home before being killed by police is causing Botham Jean comparisons. Atatiana Koquice Jefferson, 28, died Saturday after a Forth Worth, Texas officer opened fire on her inside her house. NBC Dallas-Forth Worth reports that a neighbor called the police to report that Jefferson’s door was open. An officer who arrived on the scene peered into Atatiana’s window and spotted her and yelled, “Put your hands up — show me your hands,” before opening fire and shooting her. The young woman was shot once and although aid was rendered she was pronounced dead. The officer who killed Atatiana has yet to be identified but authorities tell NBC he’s on administrative leave pending an investigation. He’s also been confirmed as white. Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price released a statement on the shooting. “Writing a statement like this is tragic and something that should never be necessary. A young woman has lost her life, leaving her family in unbelievable grief. All of Fort Worth must surround Atatiana Jefferson’s family with prayers, love and support,” Price said. Mayor Price has promised a “complete and thorough investigation” to be conducted by Police Chief Ed Kraus, which will then be forwarded to the Tarrant County District Attorney Law Enforcement Incident Team. This is so incredibly tragic and sad. We’re thinking of the family and friends of Atatiana who lost their loved one for absolutely no reason.
