Elsewhere In The World: “Racist Incidents” Up 85% Since Last Year In Ireland

Ireland Racist Incidents Up 85% In 2013 85% sure is a large increase ! According to Irish Times: An 85 per cent increase in racist incidents this year has been reported by the Immigrant Council of Ireland. The council said 142 incidents had been reported since January, compared to 77 during the same period last year. Reports peaked over the summer months, with 31 incidents in July alone. Most cases occurred in a person’s local community or workplace, while harassment, both verbal and written, accounted for most instances of racism. ICI chief executive Denise Charlton said the figures were “alarming and once again show racism is a reality which people and families are facing in their communities”. She added: “While the findings are preliminary and we will produce more details in the new year, they are nevertheless stark. People have been made victims in their own homes, at work, on the street and increasingly online.” Racism is just getting worse, even abroad. SMH.

Zac Efron Spotted with Another Man, Tabloid Claims

A new report states that Vanessa Hudgens is getting close and cozy with Josh Hutcherson . But that’s nowhere near as scandalous as the claim made by The National Enquirer against Vanessa’s ex: this tabloid quotes a source who says Zac Efron was holding hands with a male at an NBA All-Star Game party at The W Hotel on February 18. “‘I was shocked at how relaxed and open Zac was with this guy,” says the anonymous witness. “He walked around talking to him, smiling and holding his hand right in front of everyone, including Vanessa. People were wondering if maybe it was a stunt to make Vanessa jealous. But, truthfully, Zac really seemed into the guy.” With no photos, no named onlookers and no reliable reputation for the Enquirer , we question the validity of this story. Jenelle Evans: Not Ready to Be a Teen Mom

After a bitter custody war with her own mom, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans decided to capitulate. For the sake of her 19-month-old son if nothing else. “When he is older, I’ll tell him I was really young and I couldn’t put a roof over my own head, let alone his,” says Jenelle of relinquishing custody of Jace. The oft-at-odds mom and daughter tandem is working together to raise Jace, with Barbara Evans calling the shots, since Jenelle blows at parenting . Jenelle, Barbara and Jace Evans. [Photos: Us Weekly] While Jenelle takes few film-studies classes at a local community college, Barbara cares for the boy after working her full-time job at a department store. As badly as Jenelle, 19, wants Jace back from her relentlessly critical mom, she realizes she’s just not there yet. Dumping Kieffer Delp was a good start. “Once I get a job, save money and have my own place for three months, I’ll bring my mom to court,” Jenelle says of her confrontational plan of attack. At least they’re getting along well enough to pose for Us Weekly . “Jace wasn’t asked to be born,” Barbara says. “Somebody has to take care of him, and it’s going to be me. I don’t resent it. I love him to death.”
