Wayne Bengston, a 41-year old in northwest Montana, reportedly shot and killed Gregory G. Rodriguez yesterday, the host of a Sportsman Channel show titled “A Rifleman’s Journey.” According to The Associated Press, Bengston walked in on Rodriguez (pictured) and his wife spending time together. He then murdered the TV personality; beat his wife; and transported his two-year old son to a relative’s home where he took his own life. The nature of the relationship between Rodriguez and Bengston’s wife is unknown at this time, though the latter says the host was in town on business. Police are expected to release more details at a press conference today. “It’s pretty much an open-and-closed case. Homicide and suicide,” Whitefish Police Chief Bill Dial said.
Did Lil Kim get plastic surgery? It’s unclear, but her rep is not a fan of some of the recent reports to that effect. She’s been making headlines after sporting a very different look last month: The speculation continued after the star was spotted leaving the set of MTV’s Rap-Fix Live, looking quite a bit not like she did just a few years ago. However, her camp is now hitting back, specifically singling out gossip site MediaTakeout for implying that Lil Kim’s face “is physically distorted.” Her rep, C.J. Carter, called the claims “fictitious, malicious, and despicable.” “We would like to inform fans, the media, and the general public that this is nothing more than the blog site doing its best to conjure up much needed publicity.” “What better way to do so, than to take an American music icon and create a fictitious platform in which to disrespect and humiliate,” Carter adds. “We at Team Lil Kim are not taking this lying down and are taking very seriously.” Good to know. “Icon” may be a bit of a stretch, but we get his point.
