Police were called to the set of “Basketball Wives” last week after Jennifer Williams was struck in the face by Evelyn Lozada’s assistant! Just last week, Evelyn Lozada verbally attacked Jennifer Williams on Twitter. The ladies have had a tumultuous break-up ever since Jennifer voiced her opinion about her then friend marrying Chad Ochocinco. According to TMZ: “the girls were all in a VIP suite at the Gulf Stream Race Track in Hallandale, FL last Saturday. We’re told Nai Crooks — who is Evelyn’s assistant but used to work for Jennifer as well — called out Jennifer … who the other girls feel has become ‘too big for britches.’ According to our sources, the two got face-to-face and Nai pushed Williams in the face to get her away. Yesterday Evelyn Lozada went in on Jennifer “Purple Contacts” Williams and their shady friendship. Today she spoke out on why she went in and if her relationship with Jennifer is over for good. We met in 1999, and her soon to be ex husband was playing for the Boston Celtics and my ex fiancé was playing on the same team. We ended up meeting at the games. TheInsider.com: So this friendship wasn’t just for the show? Evelyn Lozada: No! I was in Jennifer’s wedding! You meet a lot of friends over the years, but we remained close. We went to family functions together. I was the one who got Jennifer on the show. TheInsider.com: How did the rift between you two start? Evelyn Lozada: The relationship was a little strained prior to her doing a radio interview about Chad (Evelyn’s fiancé). It started when it was all over the web that he had proposed. My thing is this: if you were proposed to, or you were with whomever, no matter what my opinion is, I’m still going to be like ‘hey girl if you’re happy, I’m there. Let me see the ring.’ She never asked to see my ring, she NEVER congratulated me. She could have gave a sh*t.

And I feel like there’s a bigger issue, but honestly, I don’t have a problem with Evelyn, she has a problem with me and at this point I’m like, Listen, whatever your problem is, I can’t be bothered. I’m trying to do bigger and better things. I am at a point in my life where I’m getting rid of all the negative energy in my life, including my soon-to-be ex. So my thing is like, nobody is exempt at this point and if you bring some negative energy and drama in my life, I am good. SMH at Brandon James and his “Time To Shut Up, Fat Boy!” comments: After a week of backpage dialogue between the Jets and Giants leading up to Saturday’s game — much of it musings from Jets Coach Rex Ryan about his team’s supposed superiority — one Giant decided it wasn’t enough to let his club’s play do the talking in the wake of its 29-14 win. “Time to shut up, fat boy!” Giants RB Brandon Jacobs yelled at Ryan, per The (Newark) Star-Ledger. Per the (New York) Daily News, Jacobs also sent a “shut the (expletive) up” to Rex, who reportedly countered with “go (expletive) himself.” Ryan’s take from his postgame press conference when asked about Jacobs? “We had a private conversation. Via TMZ: Evelyn Lozada — one of the stars of “Basketball Wives” who was once engaged to former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker — is being sued for allegedly receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars illegally. The story is shocking. Walker raked in a whopping $110 million during his NBA career, in addition to untold millions in endorsements and other deals … and he blew ALL OF IT and a lot more. Walker filed for bankruptcy last year, and now the bankruptcy trustee smells a rat. It seems Walker gave Lozada $560,000 when he already knew he was going belly up. The trustee has sued Lozada, claiming the transfer was fraudulent — an attempt to hide money from legitimate creditors. The trustee says Lozada used the money to start a Miami shoe store called Dulce, and now the trustee wants the $560k back. We’re told Lozada and Walker insist there was no funny business. He gave her the money to help pay her bills. Sources say Lozada funded Dulce NOT with the $560k, but by selling her engagement ring. And, our sources say, Lozada had no idea Walker was so deep in debt. We’re pretty sure Evelyn let Antoine spend major guap on her, but they can’t blame her for him running through $110 MILLION!!!! $110 MILLION???? SMH.

Beyonce will not be performing at the Michael Jackson Tribute concert in Wales next month. Though she was originally scheduled to put on a show via satellite, the now-pregnant singer has pulled out of even that. Now, she will simply be making “special contribution on video,” according to Ticketmaster. However, Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Cee Lo, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson and Leona Lewis will perform. Sister Janet and brothers Randy and Jermaine Jackson won’t be at the concert because the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is charged in MJ’s death, is going on at the same time, but his kids, sister LaToya and Mama Katherine will be in attendance. Evelyn Lozada swears she is DONE with Basketball Wives. The reason is not because she was neither a wife, nor married to a basketball player. She’s simply fed up and insists no amount of cash will change that. Mmm hmm. Heard it all before. Like Sammi and Ronnie on Jersey Shore , she and the VH1 program always end up back together (and painful to watch). Why is this time (supposedly) different? Sources close to Evelyn say Lozada made up her mind after VH1 posted a blog implying Evelyn cheated on fiance Chad Ochocinco with Terrell Owens. Evelyn is furious and claims the rumor – which apparently surfaced earlier this year and was a point of contention with the network – is simply untrue. She feels betrayed by the network, which has since pulled the blog. Still, Lozada has already decided enough is enough and says she won’t be back.
