If you've been keeping up with Mackenzie McKee, then you know her marriage hasn't been going well lately. It's been going so badly, in fact, that she's getting a divorce. Mackenzie has said a lot about how everything's been going, her reasoning behind the split, all sorts of things. But thanks to these new photos she just shared, we're starting to wonder if the split is even happening at all anymore … 1. So Much History Mackenzie and Josh have been together for a long time — they welcomed their first child in September of 2011 when they were both very young. 2. Memories They got married in 2013, had their second child in 2014, and their third in 2016. 3. What’s Been Happening? While Mackenzie is on Teen Mom OG now, she wasn’t on TV at all for most of all that — she had her 16 and Pregnant episode, the one season of Teen Mom 3, and then not much at all until MTV picked her back up recently. 4. Throughout the bizarre ordeal of his never-ending legal troubles, it’s been widely assumed that Tekashi69 plans to enter witness protection the moment he’s released from prison. After all, Tekashi’s freedom comes at a steep price, as his sentence is likely to be dramatically reduced as a result of his decision to testify against members of the Nine Trey Bloods gang , of which he was formerly a member. You don’t need to be studied up on the Nine Treys’ bylaws to know that snitching is not something they look kindly on. For weeks, Twitter has delighted in memes about Tekashi — whose real name is Daniel Hernandez — covering his facial tattoos in concealer and disappearing in rural Arkansas. But shockingly, it seems the rapper has no intention of attempting a disappearing act. In fact, it looks as though Mr. 69 is planning to resume his life in the spotlight as soon as he’s sprung from federal prison. According to a new report from TMZ, “Tekashi believes him testifying against his old crew will be forgotten almost instantly as soon as he’s released from prison — and he also thinks he’ll be more popular than ever with the masses.” Yes, in what may well turn out to be a fatally bad idea, Tekashi is not just refusing to hide from his former gangmates, he’s openly taunting them. “He thinks that anyone in the rap game who’s spoken ill of him since this whole legal ordeal began are not only envious, but threatened by him … afraid that he’ll pass ’em up and leave ’em in the dust when he gets out and starts making hits again,” TMZ reports. Mind you, this is the same gang that already kidnapped Tekashi and threatened to kill him once. And that was before he took the stand against them. In exchange for a much lighter sentence (at one point, it looked like he might remain behind bars for the rest of his life) Hernandez provided two days testified in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison last month. Not only did he identify Mack and Ellison as members of the Nine Treys, Tekashi also claimed that rapper Cardi B was a member of the gang . Sounds like the makings of a Hollywood movie, right? Well, apparently that’s what 50 Cent thought, too. According to the latest from TMZ, 50 has purchased the rights to 69’s story with plans to turn it into a feature film. So we guess that’s good news for Tekashi. We just wish he weren’t in such a hurry to write an ending to his life story.
Mackenzie McKee has made it official. No, she will not be getting back together with her husband of six years. Because, yes , she has filed for divorce from Josh, the father of her three children. The reality TV star announced the news herself on Monday, jumping on Instagram with a photo of her dogs — and telling one fan in the Comments section that her weight loss was due to “divorce stress.” As far as we know, this is the first time Mackenzie has dropped the “D” word in regard to her and Josh. When the Teen Mom star confirmed that her marriage was in trouble about two months ago, she simply said she and Josh were separating . “I would like to say, that due to stress, me needing to stay focused, the media, etc. I am deciding my marriage needs a break,” Mackenzie Tweeted on Friday, August 16, adding in this message: “My heart breaks for my kids. But as of right now, this is what’s best. Thank you.” The couple got married in August of 2013 and share three kids — Gannon, 7, Jamie, 5, and Broncs, 3. But they’ve been experiencing some difficult times for awhile, as highlighted this summer on the season premiere of Teen Mom OG. The episode focused on rumors that Josh had cheated on Mackenzie while out on the road for a rodeo. He denied this allegation, but Mackenzie later watched the development play out on air and referred to Josh as a horrible person after actually watching his actions on MTV. “Turns out, Josh is not a good man whatsoever,” the Teen Mom OG told Us Weekly in late August. “Watching the show and catching him in lies, seeing how independent he is, I realize I deserve better.” Mackenzie went on to slam Josh to this tabloid as follows: “I have fought for this marriage for many years, and lately, I’ve really opened my eyes to what a horrible person he is.” It doesn’t get much more straightforward than that — except that McKee has sort of backed off these comments in the days since. She has told fans that she and Josh actually still live together, adding: “Me and Josh do love one another, that will never change. God will guide me where I belong and I’m trusting in him right now and focusing on being there for my mom.” Are they actually getting along these days? It does sound that way. “Me and Josh are friends and are on good terms,” she said in an interview The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “I’m still taking this time for myself. I’m doing counseling, just so an outside eye looking in can give me guidance. I just had so much piling up all at once, I just need time and structure.” The MTV personality has since confessed that she and Josh are both cheaters — so, hey, at least they have that in common! … and she’s back! On Monday night’s brand new episode of Teen Mom OG, Mackenzie McKee made her return to the franchise that made her semi-famous all those years ago as a cast member on Teen Mom 3. And she wasted no time stirring up the sort of controversy that Bristol Palin, who McKee has basically replaced, could never bring to the series table. After filling viewers in on the major changes in her life — such as her relationship troubles with husband Josh and the health status of her mother, Angie Douthit, who has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer — Mackenzie jumped right back into the swing of things. By which we mean the following: She accused Josh of cheating! McKee explained on air how she’s struggling to keep up with her children while they were home for the summer. Moreover, since rodeo season was approaching (meaning Josh will be on the road for long stretches of time), the reality star was unsure how to handle all these kids and keep up with work. And then the real drama kicked in… After Josh left to compete in a rodeo, Mackenzie received a text from a woman who alleged that her husband went out to a bar and cheated on her — and Josh was with him at the time. Because their romance had been solid for awhile, Mackenzie had no idea how to react to this claim. But she chose to be direct. When Josh arrived home, she grilled him about this supposed night out without her. What happened? Did he cheat on her?!? “There was no affection or anything like that there,” he said. “I’m just here to tell you that I was at a bar, and I’d like you to trust me when I’m getting a few drinks at a bar . . . I was just avoiding the fight, and I was wrong.” Josh tried to reassure his concerned wife that he’d never go behind her back by being with another woman — but McKee didn’t seem convinced, especially once Josh said he couldn’t promise he’d always tell her where he was going. (Editor’s Note: What the heck, dude?!?) Fromt here, Mackenzie went to see her parents to discuss the situation, getting an update from her mom in the process. It turns out that doctors wanted to start Angie on a new type of chemo, yet she wasn’t sure she wanted to go through with it. Why the heck not?!? “I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that only God can heal me,” Angie said, continuing as follows: “The only reason I’m continuing with all these treatments is, yes, I want to live, but it’s for you guys. I don’t want you to think, ‘Mom gave up. Mom quit. Mom stopped.’ I’m not gonna do that.” We really can’t imagine going through anything like this. “I just want to see you get better. That’s all I want, and if it doesn’t happen I’m gonna get really mad,” Mackenzie said through tears. She added: “It’s like all my siblings were this perfect cup of glass and I was a cup of glass that was shattered, and you were the glue that was holding it all together. Earlier this week, the world learned that Mackenzie McKee will be joining the cast of Teen Mom OG . The news didn’t come as a tremendous shock, as producers had reportedly been looking for a fifth cast member ever since Bristol Palin quit the show after her first and only season. For years, Teen Mom 3 alum Mackenzie has been in the running for a full-time spot on the show, so it stands to reason that she was selected to serve as Palin’s replacement. But none of that serves to lessen the shock and outrage of the veteran cast members who are apparently beyond pissed off that Mackenzie has been added to the cast. In a recent group interview , the ladies all sounded off on the possibility of welcoming a new cast member. This was before the Mackenzie news was announced, and it was clear that all of the Moms were opposed to the idea of a newcomer. “No, we’re good,” Amber Portwood told Us Weekly when asked about the idea of a replacement for Bristol. “No new friends,” echoed Maci Bookout. “No, I’m good with just four,” Catelynn Lowell added. Like we said, the ladies are clearly looking to hang on to the amount of screen time/clout they already enjoy. In the days since McKee’s casting was confirmed, most of the ladies have remained suspiciously silent. But not Catelynn Lowell. No, she promptly took to Twitter to passive-aggressively share her thoughts on the development. “If it’s not broke don’t fix it!” Lowell tweeted. Now, Cate’s not exactly a fan favorite these days, so it’s no surprise that her comment wasn’t terribly well-received. “Wow I thought better of you Cate. I didn’t realize you’re such a mean girl. Yikes,” replied one fan. Many users echoed that sentiment … including Mackenzie, who commented simply, “Same.” With that, Cate went into damage control mode, claiming that her beef is not with Mackenzie, but with her evil corporate overlords: “It has NOTHING to do with Mackenzie at all! It’s with the ppl that don’t explain what’s happening,” Lowell tweeted. “I welcome anyone just think MTV would tell us not find out online.” There’s a lot to unpack here, so we’ll start with Cate’s “if it’s not broke” comments. The problem with that is — the show is broken. Teen Mom OG ratings have been in decline for years, The producers aren’t continuously tinkering with the cast composition because they’re bored. They’re doing it because they don’t want the increasingly-expensive series to get canceled. As for Lowell’s notion that her bosses owe her an explanation — fans were quick to put that to rest. “You’re an EMPLOYEE not involved in that type of decision. What would they tell you???” tweeted one viewer. “My jobs have told me if we were getting a new hire but they did it as a courtesy,” another remarked. “They did not HAVE to tell me let alone ask if I wanted someone! That’s entitlement to expect it! Messy situation — but we thank Cate for the reminder that most of the Teen Moms have never held a real job. Nathan Griffith called 911 several days, desperately seeking the answer to one important question: IS MY SON SAFE? And he had a pretty good reason to push for a response. As you must know by now, David Eason brutally beat his family's dog , Nugget, last Tuesday afternoon. He then took the dog into the woods and shot it dead. The incident is being investigated by the authorities and Jenelle Evans may or, more likely, may not file for divorce from her violent husband . But Griffith is the one who actually called 911 after apparently learning what happened from MTV producers. And because the four-year old son he shares with Evans lives with Jenelle and David… Nathan was rightfully VERY concerned. “I guess there was a dispute with my ex-fiancée and her husband and he shot a dog. And there’s been multiple 911 calls of abuse,” Griffith says in the video featured here, adding: “And I’m just trying to figure out where my son’s at and what I should do in this situation right now. “I’m just so confused right now. … I just want to make sure my son is safe.” Griffith isn't entirely sure what he's asking of the authorities in this case. It turns out that Kaiser wasn't home when Eason committed the homicide, but Nathan was unaware of that at the time he made the call. The former underwear model told the 911 operator that he has not “had contact with [Evans] in almost a year,” and did not know what to do in the wake of the “traumatic” event. “I just tried to text her. Obviously, she changed her phone number,” he says here. “I see my son every other weekend, but I have no communication with the mom and I just want to make sure my son is safe right now.” Did Nathan want police to conduct a welfare check? Yes, he responds. The dispatcher then takes down Griffith's information and says someone will be giving him a call shortly. “The day the story broke, I was frantic,” Griffith has since told The Ashley , adding: “I tried to reach out to Jenelle, but she wouldn’t respond. I called everyone I could think of — the MTV producers, CPS and the police to do a welfare check on my son.” He even said he tried to contact Eason directly, despite their intense rivalry. “I said, ‘I’m not trying to argue, but we need to talk. What is going on? Is there another story I’m not hearing what is going on?’” It doesn't sound as if Griffith ever got a hold of Eason, however. He also tells someone else while making this phone call that he's afraid “someone is going to die” at Jenelle and David's home. Take a listen now.
Last fall, Teen Mom 3 alum Mackenzie McKee announced that her mother was done with chemo . Fans had followed Angie Douthit’s cancer battle, and celebrated the joyous news. Unfortunately, Angie’s story has taken a dark turn. She and Mackenzie have now revealed that her cancer has returned with a vengeance, saying that it has “gone wild.” Angie Douthit took to Instagram to break the heartbreaking news to her fans and followers. “Brad and I received the results from my scans,” Angie writes. “It’s not what we had hoped for.” That is, unfortunately, an understatement. “I wish I could say that I’m in remission,” she expresses. “Or that the cancer has vanished.” “But instead this is what we were told,” Angie reveals. “Basically the cancer has gone wild.” “I have new tumors in my brain,” Angie announces. “And the old ones are growing.” This devastating news keeps getting worse. “The tumors in both my lungs are progressing and growing again,” she shares. “I have three tumors in my liver,” Angie adds. “It’s in my lymph nodes.” “And low and behold, it’s in my bones,” she solemnly divulges, specifying: “My breast bone and both of my femurs.” “Yes, we were shocked too,” Angie admits. “I knew things were strange,” she writes. “Because I have to take headache medicine,” “Excedrin and Aleve, twice a day to stop the headaches and body pain I’ve been having,” she says. She knew that something was wrong, “But I wouldn’t have ever guessed this.” “Apparently,” Angie remarks. “Immunotherapy was not for me.” “However,” Angie continues. “The first thing I did after we were told the news was I remembered my post from yesterday.” “I said aloud to the dr, ‘We promised to praise the Lord no matter what,'” Angie writes. “And that’s what we did.” “We drove home almost in silence,” she says. “Thanking God that I was still alive.” “We met with our kids and parents to tell them,” Angie explains. She adds: “We prayed diligently together.” “I pray that I can always have a sound mind,” Angie reveals. “And,” she says, she prays “that I can continue speaking until God is finished with me.” “Someone asked on Instagram if I praised my drs and the scientists,” Angie writes. “I laughed aloud,” she reveals. “Because, as nice as they are to me, they can’t fix me,” “Obviously.” Angie affirms. “I praise God alone.” “He is still in complete control,” Angie explains. “And he greatly loves me.” Some followers have taken issue with her religious affirmations, but folks, this is not the time and Instagram is not the place for theological debate. “We aren’t sure what my next medical step will be,” Angie admits. “I think a biopsy of my liver,” she guesses. “Then possibly more radiation, and more chemo.” That will be grueling, but she knows that. “I’ll do whatever God leads me to do,” Angie vows. “I appreciate all of your incredible prayers,” she writes. “Please continue to be kind and forgiving.” “Please do not get mad at God,” Angie asks her followers. “This is all part of his plan. Mackenzie McKee may not be one of the household names of the Teen Mom franchise, but she still has quite a following on social media. And like the rest of her former colleagues, she sometimes says the wrong thing, resulting in major backlash from that massive following. Earlier this week, McKee shared what she thought was an amusing anecdote about a disastrous day of running errands with her three children. Unfortunately for Mackenzie, her followers weren't terribly amused by accounts of her kids murdering small animals and defecating in public. Mackenzie didn't take the criticism lightly and she responded in a way that left some fans deeply concerned. Take a look: 1. Return of the Mack You may have forgotten about Mackenzie, but the former Teen Mom 3 star is officially back to making headlines — just probably not in the manner she had hoped. 2. Bad Idea McKee shared a lengthy Facebook post in which she revealed that she basically allowed her kids to run wild while running errands — and the results were predictably disastrous. 4. What Was She Thinking? “Pet land: if that poor ferret died because Broncs and Gannon we’re pulling at it from each end fighting over it. Sorry, however, they really are not worth $200 though,” McKee wrote, much to the chagrin of both animal lovers and grammar enthusiasts. 5. Mackenzie McKee is now 24 years old. Her mom, who is finally done with chemo as of only a few weeks ago, took to Facebook to wish her the happiest of birthdays. Angie does acknowledge that Mackenzie is kind of a disaster, but writes that she loves her “hot mess” of a daughter. If you’re familiar with Angie Douthit’s social media habits, we don’t have to tell you that she begins her post with a bible verse. “Ephesians 3:20,” she quotes. “‘Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.'” “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MACKENZIE!” Angie gushes. “24 looks good on you!” “Yes,” Angie writes. “My baby is 24.” “Mackenzie and I both wish we could say it’s been an easy 24 years,” she says. “But,” Angie acknowledges. “She will tell you that she was proudly my biggest challenge in life.” “You take ADHD, type 1 diabetes, anxiety, ODD, horm onal issues, and put them all together in one tiny body and you’ve got one hot mess,” Angie says. “But,” she continues. “I’m so thankful for my hot mess.” “She changed me in a mighty way,” she affirms. Though everyone wants to be the best parent possible before having children, a lot of life lessons come while one is already a parent. “I learned to be patient,” Angie explains. “And to pick and choose my battles.” She adds: “I learned to truly love unconditionally.” “I learned to pray, pray, pray. I learned that not everything is the parents’ fault,” she says. “I also realized how incredibly talented and determined she was,” Angie writes. “Her stubbornness paid off and she is very successful today.” Angie praises: “Inside her was many abilities that have shown forth through the years.” “We are very close,” Angie affirms. She then reveals: “She calls me for advice every day and we have a lot of things in common.” “She taught me a lot about God,” Angie notes. She says that she has learned that “God always loves us, no matter how rude we are or if we just blamed him for everything.” “His love never wavers,” she continues. “God always forgives and moves on. He doesn’t dwell on the past.” “God looks at our gifts and talents inside all of us,” Angie affirms. “And,” she says. “No matter how undisciplined we seem on the outside, he sees a future butterfly about to sprout wings and fly.” “God always points us to the positive instead of the negative,” Angie says. “Yes,” she continues. “I’m a much better mother and teacher because of my stubborn, yet very fun, and talented Mickie.” “Today,” she reflects. “I’m very thankful for 24 years with my baby girl. I love you Mic!” “I asked her what she wanted for her bday,” Angie shares. “She said, ‘I just want a day with my mom and my sisters.'” “So we are all going to be together today,” she reveals. “What an incredible blessing.” Some people end up growing up to be closer with their parents — or one parent — than they ever were as children. Angie also imparts some wisdom upon her fans and followers. “Today, think about your biggest challenge,” she suggests. “Let God show you how he is working through it and how he is changing you for the better.” Even if you don’t share Angie’s personal religious views, thinking about your challenges and the paths to success — through the lens of your faith or otherwise — could be helpful. “Then,” Angie advises. “Go share your story and help someone else going through the same battle.” She then ties it back to her daughter: “Those challenges often turn into the greatest blessings!” “Love you Mackenzie,” Angie concludes. “You are a true blessing! ” View Slideshow: Mackenzie McKee Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to Dying Mother
Mackenzie McKee has some seriously tragic news for us this weekend. Back in January, as you may recall, the Teen Mom 3 star announced that her mother, Angie Douthit, had been diagnosed with stage four brain and lung cancer . The family started a GoFundMe account to help cover medical costs, and in the description for the fundraiser they explained that she had tumors that “cover almost the entire brain,” and that she had several masses in her lungs. The diagnosis was especially shocking because Angie’s always been very healthy — she never smoked, she didn’t drink, she ran marathons. Mackenzie said at the time that she’d went to the doctor because she thought she had bronchitis. In the months since her diagnosis, Angie has been going strong. She’s been giving some inspirational speeches and spending lots of time with family, judging by Mackenzie’s Instagram post. But now, in another post, we have a new update on how she’s doing. And unfortunately, it’s bad news. “O mom, you are so amazing,” Mackenzie begins her post. “Idk how you are touching lives all around the world of people who have never met you but you are.” “You have such a strong message to share and you are not scared to shout it to the rooftops.” “You don’t deserve this, none of it,” she continues. “So happy, so healthy, and so faithful to God.” “Stage four cancer in your lungs, in your brain, and now in your bones. And not once have you questioned Gods love for you.” Yep, you read that right — now, in addition to the brain cancer and the lung cancer, Angie also has cancer in her bones. Mackenzie goes on to explain that they just got the bad news a few days ago, and that this whole nightmare has been “exhausting and expensive.” So to help with some of the costs, she’s asking her fans to consider purchasing one of her “fitness at home workout programs,” the workout and nutrition guides she sells on her site, Body by Mac To her mother, Mac writes “One thing you wish people would do is to remain healthy and to #alwaysbekind. You helped me with my #bodybymac 3 month program and have always been my number one cheerleader through this all.” And so this weekend, if you buy one of her programs, all that money “will go towards the cost of all travel expenses and medication because you’re so good and telling people to stop complaining, get off their butts, and get active.” “So here is to donating and getting healthy at the same time.” It’s definitely a sweet gesture, and it really seems like Mackenzie is doing everything in her power to help her mother right now. Remember, although we know who she is and although she starred on an MTV show, Teen Mom 3 only got one season before it was canceled, and that was back in 2013. We know that the moms’ salaries get increased every season, and that when the shows started out, they didn’t make too much at all, considering. For reference, Briana DeJesus reportedly made $20,000 for her first season of Teen Mom 2, which isn’t a lot, considering the other moms brought in around $300,000. Add in those three kids of hers , and there’s a good chance that Mackenzie doesn’t have any of her MTV money left, and that she’s trying to capitalize on the fame she has with her workout programs. We can’t blame her for that, and if she’s also using that fame to try to get donations to help her mother?
