Obviously, the scene from last night’s Vanderpump Rules that’s attracting the most attention today is the one in which Brittany Cartwright flipped out on Jax Taylor after hearing a recording in which he trash-talked her to the woman he later slept with behind her back. (She already knew about–and was cool–with the cheating.) But it wasn’t the only interaction that has VPR obsessives buzzing today. Though he made his debut in the season premiere, last night’s episode offered the deepest insight yet into the character of Scheana Marie’s then-boyfriend, Robert Valletta. Turns out he’s a giant douche. Okay, that might be a bit harsh, but Rob is the type of dude unironically toasts to “falling in love with something new every day.” And it seems he may also be the type to sleep around on his girlfriend. These days, Rob and Scheana are broken up , but back when the show was being filmed, they were still moving at warp speed. Or perhaps we should say Scheana was moving at warp speed. On last night’s episode, she discussed her desire to get married to Valletta the moment her divorce with Mike Shay was finalized. Valletta dodged that topic of conversation, for the obvious reason–Scheana is clearly a smidge insane–but also because he almost certainly banging someone else at the time. In the episode, Kristen Doute informed Scheana that Rob made out with some random hostess well after the two of them had gotten serious as a couple. Scheana–who has criticized several of her female friends for being naive about their boyfriends’ infidelities–refused to believe Kristen, explaining that Valletta “isn’t a kisser,” whatever the hell that means. The fact that Rob and Scheana recently downgraded their relationship to “friends with benefits” status has led many VPR fans to conclude that Scheana eventually discovered the truth. But remarkably, both parties still claim Valletta was never unfaithful, and they’re offering up some incredibly lame “evidence” to support their claims. Scheana appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live last night, and Valletta called in to the show to basically say “who ya gonna believe, me or your own eyes?” According to the “actor”, he and Scheana broke up not because of his cheating, but because of her catty group of friends. Amazingly, Scheana sat there and co-signed his explanation. “The truth is, it’s really hard in her circle of friends,” Rob told Andy. “Individually, when they’re by themselves, they’re really great people, but you put that group of people together and they’re savages,” he continued. “They come after you, and it’s really hard to have a successful relationship with those people coming and attacking you from all sides.” When Scheana was informed by Cohen that 85 percent of viewers polled believe Rob cheated, she replied: “Well, 85 percent of the people don’t know the man I was dating.” Interestingly, Valletta never addressed the allegation directly. He’s been described by some outlets as a “reclusive” individual who lives a quiet life in Mexico. But The Daily Mirror tracked him down in Rosarito Beach (where he was purchasing a four-pack of beer and cigarettes, the newspaper notes) and asked if he’ll be at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle to give away his daughter. Thomas “beamed,” the publication writes, told the reporter: “Yes. I’d love to.” Markle and Harry have confirmed the aforementioned wedding location, along with their plans to exchange vows in May of next year. (Many insiders, meanwhile, think Markle will then announce her pregnancy by next Christmas. But that’s pure speculation at the moment.) “I’m very pleased,” the 73-year-old dad added. “I’m delighted.” Markle’s parents have been indirectly in the news a bit because Thomas is white, while Doria is African-American. Because people often suck, there’s been debate over Markle’s heritage and some unfortunate harassment she’s suffered as a result. As for plans more immediate than her nuptials, a source explains to Us Weekly how Meghan will celebrate her first Christmas season as the fiancee of a Royal. After celebrating Christmas Eve at Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham House Harry and his bride-to-be will join Prince William and Kate Middleton at their nearby Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, England. “They’ll be William and Kate’s guests and travel back and forth with them,” the insider says. Doesn’t sound too shabby at all, does it? On December 25 itself, the quartet will be served a traditional English breakfast… attend a mandatory 11 a.m. service at St. Mary Magdalene Church… and then chow down on a a lunch featuring two roast turkeys. Sometimes, it’s not immediately clear who came out on top. Other times it’s a blow-out victory, such as in the case of Scheana Marie and Mike Shay. If you’re a Vanderpump Rules fan, then you’re likely aware that Scheana and Shay’s divorce was an ugly one, and Scheana emerged from the wreckage looking like a courageous survivor … … while Mike came off as more of an uncaring, unemployed, drug-addicted adulterer. She revealed on the Vanderpump Rules Season 6 premiere that she and Valletta have been “friends with benefits” on and off for seven years. (She also revealed that Valletta is considerably more blessed in the dong department, which probably wasn’t Shay’s favorite moment of the episode.) But like the Atlanta Falcons in the second half of Super Bowl LI, Scheana appears to have taken her considerable lead for granted. We’re not saying Mike will ever be victorious–dude’s like 30 and still trying to make it as a rapper–but he’s been making major gains lately. Apparently, Shay even has a new girlfriend, whom he’s describing to friends as the love of his life. “Mike is finally over Scheana and has been posting about his new girlfriend non-stop on social media,” an insider tells Radar Online. “He is telling his friends that the new girl is the love of his life!” Scheana’s reportedly been seeking comfort with Valletta, but seeing as he’s also her ex these days, that might not be a totally effective strategy. “Scheana has been spending time with Rob more so lately while he is in L.A. at her premiere party and other festivities,” a source tells Radar. “However, the two are not back together and she has recently been trying to reach out to Mike.” Yes, it seems like Scheana just didn’t know what she had until it was gone. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online , then the thought of DJ James Kennedy probably brings to mind the image of a shaved ferret furiously pounding the play button on iTunes and wondering why women aren’t lining up to have sex with him. Or maybe that’s too harsh. Perhaps for you, DJ James conjures thoughts of a Harry Potter prequel that focuses on young Voldemort’s time as a West Hollywood club douche. Whatever the case, we’re all in agreement that James is the absolute worst. Unfortnuately, we have bad news for the James Haters out there, as it looks like Kennedy will be back for another season of pretending he has any reason to hang out around the rest of the Vanderpump crew. This year promises to be even more awkward than last, as James’ one pseudo-ally, Lala Kent, quit the show last summer. James needs someone to talk to other than the unseen middle-aged dude he rents a corner from (we assume his name is Ron), which might explain why Raquel Leviss is apparently being added to the cast. The news comes to us courtesy of a post on Scheana Marie’s Instagram page: Scheana posted the above pic during a day of filming, and the introductory tone of the caption led many fans to the impression that the folks she’s flanked by will be joining the Vanderpump family for Season 6: “My pageant queen and SUR’s newest!” Scheana wrote alongside the pic. The woman, of course, is pageant competitor and noted bad decision maker Leviss. She’s dating Kennedy, who we can only assume has some Trump pee tape -level dirt on her. The dude is a male model named Adam Spott, who is now, according to Scheana, SUR’s newest. We’re not sure what sort of ties Spott has to the rest of the cast, but it’s not the first time producers have tried to liven things up with a newcomer who never appeared on the show as a friend of an existing SUR-ver. It didn’t work out so well for Lala, or the ill-fated Vail Bloom (We miss you, baby girl.), but maybe the third time will turn out to be the charm. If nothing else, Spott will give the ladies of SUR something to look at other than Kennedy’s rage-contorted mug, and we’re sure they’re grateful for that. I’ve been waiting for Taylor Hill to change her name for a few months now , and it looks she finally did it. Only the bad news is now she’s going by Taylor Marie Hill, instead of the name I’d come up with for her. Which is too bad, because I really thought “The Future Ex-Mrs. Tuna #14,751” had a nice ring to it… Oh well. Time for me to move on to #14,752, I guess. Right after this awesome lingerie photoshoot, that is.
