DJ Megatron, born Corey McGriff, was murdered last month in Staten Island, NY William Williams, 21, and Richard Cromwell, 20, entered their not guilty plea last week in court. Police say that Williams and Cromwell confessed to the murder during interrogations. Prosecutors accuse Williams and Cromwell of stalking and murdering Megatron and claim that they have the surveillance footage to prove it. Williams and Cromwell have been charged with murder, robbery and possession of a weapon. They are due back in court on April 19th. The news of HOT97 personality Mister Cee ‘s arrest for a public sex act sparked doubt in the minds of many. However, the New York Police Department has confirmed that Cee was arrested last Wednesday, March 30th. A NYPD rep confirmed the arrest to XXLMag.com . The arrest occurred at 4:05 PM on March 30th in the area of the first police precinct. Cee, born Calvin Lebrun, was charged with public lewdness and exposure. Mister Cee did not let the arrest stop him, as he was on air at HOT97 this afternoon for his daily “Throwback At Noon” mix, in which he addressed the incident through his song choices which included songs like Jay-Z’s “What More Can I Say” and Nas’ “Hate Me Now.” Terrance Dean, author of the controversial book Hiding In Hip-Hop and a contributor to our sister-site HelloBeautiful.com , commented on the arrest earlier today saying “Even though it’s alleged, this is not the first, nor would it be last. Police have uncovered more information in the death of former BET & HOT97 personality DJ Meagtron. Authorities are now saying that 32-year-old Megatron, born Corey McGriff, was shot during a marijuana buy. Ray Charles’ Mistress Brags About Stealing His Cash & Aborting Baby Police say that McGriff was on his way to buy a cigar and a small amount of marijuana while talking on his mobile phone.
