O.J. Simpson’s House Gets Sold At Auction The hits just keep on coming for ex-football star turned jailbird O.J. Simpson. While he’s currently serving time in prison, his Miami mansion has been sold at auction to the highest bidder. Miami Herald While he bides time in a Nevada desert prison, fallen football icon O.J. Simpson’s Kendall home was sold Tuesday in a foreclosure auction. The house, at 9450 SW 112th St., went for $655,000 to a yet-to-be-identified private online bidder, according to county auction records. The winning bid came in nearly $100,000 above what Simpson paid for the property in September 2000. It’s currently assessed by the Miami-Dade Property Appraiser at $481,043. From his cell, Simpson tried to fight the foreclosure action filed by mortgage holder JP Morgan Chase. Why? He hoped to return home soon, says his attorney. “He has been trying to do everything he can to win his release, and the idea was that he’d have a home to come back to,” said Leonardo DaVinci Starke, who represented Simpson in the foreclosure. “We were hoping for the best, but it didn’t happen.” Simpson owed JP Morgan $892,283 in back payments, principal, fees, court costs and penalties, according to court records. Via Miami Herald reports : It was a starry, starry night Thursday on Golden Beach when Beyonce and Jay-Z turned up on shore after Mrs. Carter wrapped up a video shoot at the beachfront manse she rented for the occasion. According to our sources on site, police blocked off part of the tony town Thursday. The video was filmed at night, and residents were told if they didn’t film or take pictures during the shoot, Beyonce and her hubby, who’s performing the final leg of his Legends of Summer tour with Justin Timberlake, would come out and take pictures with them afterward. They kept their word and made some peoples’ nights. “Beyonce is beautiful!” gushed one witness. “Both could not have been kinder and more playful with the young kids and teenagers.” Eyewitness Nicole Farchi Segal agreed, saying, “It was an honor meeting them, and they were incredibly nice!” Wonder which video they were filming? “Runaway Pt. Yesterday the internet was in a frenzy after a Star Magazine report surfaced detailing the story of a Canadian woman claiming she had been chopped down by Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy Kanye West. Leyla Ghobadi Allegedly Paid $20k For Kanye Cheating Story And Never Took Lie Detector Test Via NYDailyNews The story that curvy “model” Leyla Ghobadi gave Star magazine, claiming she had sex with Kanye West while his girlfriend Kim Kardashian has been pregnant, has more holes than a golf course. Ghobadi, 36, claims in the current issue that she hooked up with the rapper twice in 2012 and that he attempted a third encounter just this past weekend. It turns out Ghobadi was paid just under $20,000 for her tale — and never took a lie-detector test to help prove her story. Star’s editor-in-chief, James Heidenry, confirms to us that spa worker Ghobadi was paid for her tale, but says our number is off. “I can tell you that’s way out of the ballpark,” he says. We also hear news agency Coleman-Rayner had been shopping Ghobadi’s story around for a month and that other weeklies passed because Ghobadi had no proof of the alleged tryst. Star magazine didn’t mind, though. Famous for giving story subjects lie-detector tests, the editors failed to do so with Ghobadi. “We didn’t think it was necessary in this case,” Heidenry shockingly admitted. We get it, Star was thirsty for a story, but c’mon, you write her a check with NO lie detector test?! Ghobadi claims she ended up in West’s hotel room one night, where “the next thing I knew, we were both naked and having sex,” she said. Not the case, a close Kardashian Konfidante tells Confidenti@l. Khloe Kardashian Talks About Lamar And Reality Show In a recent interview, Khloe admits she gets annoyed when people blame their reality show on Lamar ’s struggles in his career. When asked if there will be another season of “Khloe & Lamar,” she says: Via Miami Herald reports: “Yes. It’s not finished. I’m really protective. I’m like a mama bear. And when my husband and I filmed season one, Lamar won Sixth Man of the Year, was the first (Los Angeles) Laker to do so, he won a gold medal, and he also won a championship ring for the Lakers. The naked man who sparked talk of a zombie apocalypse after eating another man’s face on Saturday has been identified as Rudy Eugene, age 31. Eugene, of North Miami Beach, was shot multiple times and killed following a grisly assault on the Downtown exit ramp of the MacArthur Causeway. The Miami Herald , whose own surveillance cameras caught the incident on tape, reports that Eugene had been arrested eight times since age 16. “I wouldn’t say he had [a] mental problem but he always felt like people was against him type of attitude,” his ex-wife Jenny Ductant told Local 10. “No one was for him, everyone was against him.” A neighbor said his former home was foreclosed on in 2011, and homeless people in the area said he was frequently spotted wandering around there. The identity of Eugene’s victim, believed to be a homeless man, has not been released. He survived having his face eaten but is in serious condition. An eyewitness riding his bike on the causeway said he flagged down a cop after coming across Eugene, stark naked, chewing another man’s face. Man Shot, Killed After Eating Another Man’s Face “The guy was tearing him to pieces, so I told him, ‘Get off!'” Larry Vega said. “The guy just kept eating the other guy away, like, ripping his skin.” Vega said when the policeman yelled at Eugene to back away, he merely raised his head “with pieces of flesh in his mouth,” growled, and resumed chewing. The officer then shot Eugene once, but Eugene continued to attack the man’s face, prompting the officer to shoot again and again until he was dead. It has been reported, although unconfirmed, that Rudy Eugene was under the influence of cocaine and/or LSD at the time of the attack. That, or he was an actual zombie and the apocalypse is near.
