Source: Elizabeth Fernandez / Getty Florida Teen Accused Of Trying To Hire Hitman To Kill A School Facility Member According to the Tampa Bay Times , an 18-year-old high school student is facing first degree solicitation to attempt murder charges after offering $100,000 for a hit on a high school staff member . Nicholas R. Godfrey was arrested after an Instagram account with the request for “a guy who could kill someone” was traced to a computer IP address at his home. Godfrey reportedly offered $100,000 to another student to clap unnamed Fivay High staff. Godfrey reportedly messaged: “No joke, I need him eliminated as soon as possible,” Authorities are still scratching their heads as to why he sent the request, as the teen had no known past problems with the staff member, who was provided protection as a precaution. Godfrey later confessed that he was only joking. “It doesn’t matter what the intent was,” the sheriff said. “When you do it and post it on social media, the crime is committed.” Godfrey is now sitting in a county jail.
(Photo by Christopher Furlong/Getty Images) Texas Mother And Her Boyfriend Arrested For Murdering 2-Year Old Daughter Tiaundra Christon, 21, confessed to murdering her 2-year-old daughter Hazana Anderson and allegedly keeping the child’s body in her car for three days, According to KCentTV , Christon and her boyfriend, Kenny D’Shawn Hewett are both charged with tampering with physical evidence with the intent to impair a human corpse. Multiple agencies found the body near State Highway 146 in Texas City earlier this week. The 2-year-old had been missing for nearly a week. Christon was arrested and charged with child endangerment for allegedly leaving the child alone near a pond and giving a false report to police. She also told detectives she and Hewett were at a hotel in Houston from Oct. 17th through Oct. 20 during which the child was murdered. KCentTV reports that both parents allegedly beat the child who was crying loudly and the two got carried away. Christon said the child was going in and out of consciousness, so she and Hewett put her in the bath tub to attempt to revive her, according to reports. Christon stated that as she was removing the child from the tub, she said she noticed signs of sexual assault on the child. She then says the child died later that night. Christon told police the child was cold to the touch, so she and Hewett tried to use a hair dryer to warm her up, and while doing so, the hair dryer began burning the child’s skin. She also said she kept the body in the backseat of her car for three days, inside a plastic trash bag, reports KCentTV . On Oct. 23, Christon said she and Hewett wrapped the bag with the body inside with rope, and tied a heavy rock to it. They then tossed the body into a body of water near Moses Bayou and Texas 146 in Galveston County.

Terence Crutcher, a 40-year old Oklahoma resident, was shot and killed by police officers in Tulsa on Friday. The tragic incident is now creating headlines around the country because dashboard footage has been released to the public that appears to depict an unarmed Crutcher with his arms in the air, just prior to losing his life. We’ve shared the graphic video below: Terence Crutcher: Shot and Killed by Police The encounter took place around 7:40 p.m. on September 16 after four officers responded to reports of an abandoned vehicle on a road. As you can see above, the cops converge on Crutcher quickly, walking him toward the car in question. He’s wearing a white t-shirt and his hands are in the air. He is then Tasered by one officer (later identified as Tyler Turnbough) and fatally shot by Betty Shelby, the Tulsa Police Department has confirmed. The view from both a dashboard camera and a helicopter camera is obstructed in the moments before those actions. But you can see Crutcher fall to the ground at one point. Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said at a news conference Monday that Crutcher was unarmed; he did not have a weapon in his vehicle, either. Shane Tuell, a police spokesman, said Officer Shelby gave a statement to homicide detectives on Monday morning and is now on paid administrative leave. “I’m going to tell you right now that there was no gun on the suspect or in the suspect’s vehicle,” Jordan told reporters, adding: “I want to assure our community and I want to assure all of you and people across the nation who are going to be looking at this: we will achieve justice.” As part of their own press conference, Crutcher’s family and attorney said they have seen this video and cannot comprehend the justification for shooting their relative. “We ask for facts, we ask for answers, and we clearly got it through the video and we are devastated,” said Crutcher’s twin sister, Tiffany Crutcher. “The entire family is devastated.” In an interview, Officer Shelby’s lawyer, Scott Wood, said his client had believed that Crutcher had a gun. Wood added that Crutcher was acting erratically and refusing to comply with several officer orders, attempting to put his hand in his pocket and reaching inside his car window before he was shot.
