Getty Images Helicopter Crashes Into Florida Mobile Home Park And Kills Two At least two people were killed after a helicopter crashed into a Florida mobile home park on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from authorities. Emergency crews responded to the crash at the Sebring Falls Mobile Home Park in Highlands County shortly before 3 p.m. Two homes remain on fire, according to the Highlands County Sheriff’s Office, but fortunately, it does not appear like anyone was inside either residence when the aircraft fell from the sky. Video from the scene of the incident depicts at least one charred residence completely engulfed by flames, which was sparked by the afternoon crash. Both confirmed fatalities were believed to be in the helicopter at the time, and there are no other suspected casualties. Another person was injured and transported to an area hospital. The names of the victims from the crash have not yet been released. Authorities have requested that the public avoid the area of Flare Road and Bryant Boulevard for the time being..

A shocking video is making it’s rounds on the Internet of the Malaysian airline allegedly turning up the AC to the max, in order to force passengers off the aircraft. The plane had been delayed on the tarmac for over four hours and passengers were getting restless — but when they saw the heavy rains outside, the refused to deplane and the captain cranked that air conditioning on them. As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt last month. The actress’ abrupt decision to end her marriage came after an incident aboard a private jet, during which Pitt was involved in an altercation with 15-year-old son Maddox. It remains unclear what exactly took place aboard the aircraft, but it was bad enough that it resulted in Pitt being investigated for child abuse . As of now, Jolie has sole physical custody of the kids, and Brad is allowed only supervised visits. That may soon change, however, as at least one former associate of the couple’s has come forward to reveal that he never witnessed any abusive behavior on Brad’s part, but did overhear Angie issuing threats of violence. An unnamed former bodyguard claims that he once heard Angelina threaten to “beat [Brad] to death” during a particularly heated argument. He adds, however, that he never saw her become physically abusive, and has no reason to believe that she ever did. It’s also important to note that the bodyguard doesn’t claim that Angelina ever made any threats to the children. If this is the sort of character testimony that Brad is relying on for his upcoming custody battle, he may be in trouble. Of course, several media outlets have reported in recent weeks that the Department of Child and Family Services investigation into Brad’s behavior has been expanded to include Angelina. It’s unclear, however, if the department is investigating claims against Angelina, or attempting to determine if she was abused by Brad. Last week, Jolie was interrogated by the FBI for several hours, but it is not believed that there is any reason for her to face criminal charges. Lil Wayne Released From Hospital Wayne had quite a health scare the other day as his plane made two emergency landings for two separate seizures he had while onboard the aircraft. Now, after a day or so under doctor supervision in a Nebraska hospital, Wayne feels like it’s business as usual. He’s left town and is off to make his scheduled appearances like nothing ever happened. Our Weezy sources tell us he checked out of the Omaha hospital on Tuesday and immediately made a beeline out of town — despite having made 2 emergency landings on Monday when the seizures started. Andreas Lubitz, the co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings flight that crashed into the Alps this week, set out to destroy the plane on purpose, officials believe. Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin, citing “black box” recordings, said Lubitz was alone in the cockpit when the Germanwings plane crashed, killing 148 . He intentionally started the fatal descent while the pilot was locked out, and there was “absolute silence in the cockpit” as the pilot fought to re-enter. Robin said “the most plausible interpretation” for this turn of events was that the co-pilot had deliberately barred the pilot from re-entering the cockpit. Robin said, “We hear the pilot ask the co-pilot to take control of the plane and we hear at the same time the sound of a seat moving backwards and the sound of a door closing.” He said the pilot, named in the German media as Patrick S., had probably gone to the toilet, and “at that moment, the co-pilot is controlling the plane by himself.” “While he is alone, the co-pilot presses the buttons of the flight monitoring system to put into action the descent of the airplane. He operated this button for a reason we don’t know yet.” “It appears that the reason was to destroy this plane.” Lubitz was alive until impact, the prosecutor said. Air traffic controllers made repeated, failed attempts to contact the aircraft, upon which passengers could be heard screaming just before the crash. So who is Andreas Lubitz and why would he do this? Details are emerging of the German co-pilot’s past, although his apparent motives are a mystery. Lubitz, 28, had undergone intensive training and ” was 100 percent fit to fly without any caveats “, according to Carsten Spohr, the head of Lufthansa. The German carrier, which owns Germanwings, says his training was briefly halted six years ago, but “the suitability of the candidate was re-established.” German Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters that the co-pilot’s apparent actions had given the tragedy a “new, simply incomprehensible dimension.” The Airbus 320 from Barcelona, Spain to Duesseldorf, Germany, hit a mountain in France, killing all passengers and crew on board earlier this week. Official have said that the co-pilot was “not known by us” to have any links to extremism or terrorism, though the thorough investigation will continue.
Scary … Unresponsive Plane Flying Over The Atlantic Ocean A small aircraft is currently being trailed after its pilot became unresponsive. The North American Aerospace Defense Command or NORAD initially sent out two American fighter jets to track the plane but now that it’s in Cuban airspace, a Cuban fighter jet is monitoring its activity. CNN reports : A Cuban fighter jet Friday was trailing a small aircraft that was unresponsive over the Atlantic Ocean and flying over Cuban airspace, NORAD said. The U.S. military launched a pair of jet fighters to trail the aircraft, but the U.S. planes broke off before reaching Cuban airspace 12 miles off the island’s coast, NORAD said. The plane was cruising at about 25,000 feet. Ted Soliday, executive director of the Naples, Florida, airport, where the plane was headed, told CNN that he did not know how many people are on board the six-seat aircraft. It’s believed the plane could be running out of fuel. “Once it gets up that high, it can cruise at good speed with low fuel use,” he said. “Five hours is a long time for that airplane.” Two F-15s had been flying with the plane east of Florida. The windows, according to a NORAD spokesman, were frosted and it was unknown how much fuel was left. NORAD was in touch with Cuban authorities via the U.S. Coast Guard. The U.S. military jets will not enter Cuban airspace, a NORAD spokesman said. The Socata TBM-700 light business and utility aircraft departed from Rochester, New York, with a flight plan to land in Naples, NORAD said. According to Mail Online A 19-year-old New York City man has accidentally decapitated himself with his own remote-controlled helicopter. The FDNY says Roman Pirozek Jr, was flying the chopper at a Brooklyn park Thursday afternoon when he lost control of it and the RC-device flew into his head. The blades sliced off a piece of his skull – effectively scalping him, WNBC-TV reports. He was dead at the scene when police arrived. Pirozek was at Calvert Vaux Park in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, near Coney Island – a spot popular with model aircraft enthusiasts. An aerial photo taken from a WNBC news chopper showed a Brooklyn detective examining the small toy, which landed on its rotor in the grass. Police say the aircraft fell from the sky and hit him in the head on the way down. At least three people were with the teen in the park when the accident happened. Neighbors described him as an avid hobbyist who is frequently seen in the area flying his model helicopter. His Facebook page reveals he was involved in at lease on New York remote-controlled helicopter club. The helicopter that killed him appears to be a model made by Align, a Taiwanese company.
