10 Craziest Moments in Real Housewives History

The Real Housewives of Orange County debuted on Bravo on March 21, 2006. Fast forward a decade and the feuds and fights that made the original series so popular have spread to Atlanta… Beverly Hills… New Jersey… and even Potomac. A full 10 years after the first edition in this wildly successful franchise made its premiere, what better way to celebrate than by taking a look back at the 10 wildest/craziest/wackiest moments in Real Housewives history? 1. A Trip to Scary Island On The Real Housewives of New York City Season 3, Kelly Bensimon suffered a a breakdown while on vacation at a Caribbean getaway. She went off on jelly beans… satchels of gold… Al Sharpton… and Gwyneth Paltrow, among other topics. It was amazing. 2. Who Gonna Check Me, Boo? On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Season 2, Shereé Whitfield was planning a Queen of the Night part and delivered the most epic comeback of all-time after a party-planner expressed doubt that all the items Whitfield desired could be found: “Who gonna check me, boo?” 3. Wigged Out Well, wig OFF, to be precise. During a brawl on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2, Whitfield threw down with Kim Zolciack on the street… with NeNe Leakes trying to mediate. Michael Lohan even somehow showed up for it. 4. A Bad Fortune We go way back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 1 for this one: remember the bizarre dinner party when hostess Camille Grammer invited her friend, a medium named Allison DuBois, to join the cast members? She proceeded to say someone there was going to die. 5. No Refills Here The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 4 gave us a look inside the crumbling marriage marriage between Vicki Gunvalson and Donn Gunvalson. It was highlighted by Vicki describing her “love tank” as “empty.” 6. Michaele Salahi is Not Smart We try to pretend as if The Real Housewives of D.C. never existed, either. But it’s worth noting the time Andy Cohen asked Michaele Salahi at the reunion whether or not she was ever a Washington Redskins cheerleader… and she kept claiming she didn’t know. View Slideshow

Kenya Moore: I’m Not Sexting Apollo Nida!

Kenya Moore says she’s no sexting fiend looking to snag someone’s husband, despite what Phaedra Parks’ spouse Apollo Nida tried to spin Sunday. On The Real Housewives of Atlanta , Nida claimed Kenya sexted him while they were both in L.A. last year and proposed a face-to-face hook up too. Specifically, Nida claimed Kenya “wanted to f–k, okay, she wanted to have sex in L.A.,” though he denies anything ever happened between them in any case. Moore admits that they exchanged texts , but they weren’t interesting, there was nothing sexual, they never met up, and the entire thing is all bulls–t. If you look at her screen caps of the alleged texts … she’s right. While Apollo’s stunt is great fodder for the show, she says, she’s not down with lying, especially not when it comes to allegedly trying to nail a married man. Kenya Moore says she wants “to put an end to the false and defaming speculations and judgments against me” as a result of this week’s episode. Apollo Nida and Phaedra Parks had no comment.

Sandra Bullock Named EW Entertainer of the Year

She floated above the Earth in Gravity and, according to Entertainment Weekly, she soared above the competition in 2013. Yes, Sandra Bullock has been named that magazine’s Entertainer of the Year. The publication refers to the 49-year old as the “gift that keeps on giving” and cites roles in both the aforementioned Oscar contender and in the comedy The Heat as proof of her box office power. Writes Entertainment Weekly of the beloved star: “Bullock’s tremendous talent and range – to say nothing of the woman’s trademark grace and good humor in good times and bad – is what earned her the top spot on our annual list of the most exciting performers in 2013.” This would appear to be a reference to how Bullock handled her marriage coming to an end back when it came out that husband Jesse James cheated on her. Big time. And let there be no doubt, we love Bullock. She’s talented, funny and seemingly very grounded. But did she deserve this honor? Over Miley Cyrus , who Hollywood can’t stop talking about? Over Justin Bieber , who continues to make headlines both good and bad? You tell us: Does Sandra Bullock deserve to be the Entertainer of 2013?   No, what about Miley?!? Bieber all the way! Hello? Kanye?!? Taylor Swift much?!? Sure, I love Gravity! View Poll »

The duo will be the first EVER to get married on Pay-Per-View and will be donating a portion of the PPV proceeds to benefit typhoon relief in the Philippines. Let’s just hope: It’s more than 10 percent, a la Kim Kardashian ‘s auction. Tareq Salahi doesn’t crash the event … sort of his thing.

Tareq Salahi: Running For Governor of Virginia!

White House party crasher, former reality star and perennial fame whore Tareq Salahi is running for Governor of Virginia as an “independent Republican.” Salahi said back in April that he planned to run for governor and seek the Republican nomination, but decided yesterday to run apart from the GOP ticket. State Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II was the only person to file as a GOP candidate for governor, and he was deemed the nominee Monday. He is expected to face veteran campaign strategist Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, with the former Mr. Michaele Salahi running as a third party candidate. Salahi told The Washington Post that this improves chances in November. “That’s the best way I can win this race, not going to the convention,” he said. “I’m doing just like Bill Bolling did. I can’t agree with anything that Cuccinelli believes in.” Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling left the GOP contest in November and is also considering an independent bid. Virginia’s gubernatorial race is set for this November. Salahi is, of course, best known for crashing a White House State Dinner with wife Michaele Salahi, before she left him for Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Remeber that whole saga? That was hilarious.

Tareq Salahi Re-Files Frivolous Lawsuit, Claims Neal Schon Cost Him $50 Million

Tareq Salahi ‘s lawsuit against his estranged wife Michaele Salahi was recently dismissed, but he’s instead turned his focus to her lover, Journey guitarist Neal Schon, the band’s personal recording label and their publicist. Yep, he’s re-filing a lawsuit against all of the above. Tareq alleged that Michaele and Neal’s 2011 affair was a calculated attempt to re-launch the struggling rock band, ruining Tareq in the process. The male Salahi says that when he was doing Michaele, Neal Schon was also screwing him out of a deal with Oprah Winfrey (!?), a $300,000 gig on Dancing With the Stars and a big-screen adaptation of their life. Mmm hmm. The pair was to receive 40 percent of the sale, he claims … so approximately $8.00 total gross, assuming the two of them even bought tickets. Tareq also alleges the affair also cut off paid interviews and appearances, despite the fact that he got quite a lot of mileage out of whining about it. He also modestly calls himself and Michaele “instant international celebrities” and “household names” after crashing a White House state dinner. Their “gate-crashing” resulted in the Salahis “being offered regular paid appearances as ‘The Salahis,’” he claims … and they’re no longer. Tareq added: “The Salahis” became a “financially prosperous enterprise.” Sadly for him, that ship has sailed, along with any hope of winning this case.

LeAnn Rimes Performs Whitney Houston Classic

It’s not quite up there with the Jennifer Hudson Whitney Houston tribute , but LeAnn Rimes also paid homage to the late icon in concert this weekend. Rimes played a gig in Reno, Nevada, on Saturday night, just a few hours after Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room in Los Angeles. During the show, LeAnn, clearly choked up, took a moment to pay tribute to Houston by singing her #1 hit, “I Will Always Love You,” to the crowd. The song hit an emotional note for LeAnn. LeAnn Rimes Tribute to Whitney Houston Before the show, Rimes tweeted “Wow, I learned how to do what I do because of 3 great women, one being Whitney. She was always so kind to me.” “This is not gonna be an easy show for sure. I’m just doing what she taught me to do, listening to her over & over as a little girl. Her death is very surreal.” She did her idol justice, don’t you think?

Tareq Salahi Sues Neal Schon For $50 Million; Cites Humiliation, Metaphorical Slap in the Face

Tareq Salahi claims that Neal Schon ruined his entire life and is suing the Journey rocker, who ran off with his reality star wife Michaele, for $50 million dollars. The lawsuit was just filed by Salahi in Virginia. Tareq says he and Michaele Salahi were on track to make a huge fortune together from multiple reality TV shows including Dancing with the Stars … yeah right. According to the suit, they had an offer to participate on the Australian DWTS in 2011 … for $150,000. Not a bad chunk of change, but a fortune? Really? Plus, he claims, the White House party crashers also had an offer to appear on another network TV show in the U.S. Which he does not name, of course. Tareq claims the TV shows pulled their offers when Michaele Salahi ran off with Neal Schon last fall, and that Schon waged a campaign to humiliate him . Tareq says Schon used the affair to inflict suffering upon him, emailing a pic of his penis and calling him on the phone to tell him, “I’m f**king your wife!” In the suit, Tareq claims, “The act was a metaphorical slap in the face.” Negative points for filing a frivolous lawsuit, but bonus points for not saying “literally.” Tareq claims Schon humiliated him in public, too, as the publicity would increase interest in Journey’s tour … which resulted in a major attendance boost.
