Scot Free: Redskins Baller Reuben Foster’s Domestic Violence Dropped By Florida State Attorney

Source: Icon Sportswire / Getty Reuben Foster’s Domestic Violence Charges Dropped The domestic violence problem among NFL players is still a major issue for the league. Today, one of their most recent suspects was allowed to walk away from his alleged crime unscathed. According to ESPN , San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster had the domestic violence against him dropped the State Attorney for lack of evidence. Prosecutors concluded there was insufficient evidence to file charges against Foster after “a meticulous review of the facts of the case,” said Estella Gray, director of communications for the State Attorney’s Office. Adonte Pointer, Attorney for the victim, Elissa Ennis, didn’t mince words in response to the State Attorney’s decision. “We’re disappointed. The prosecutor’s choice is yet another slap in the face to Miss Ennis, just like the one Mr. Foster gave her in Tampa,” Ennis’ attorney, Adante Pointer, told ABC News. “Elissa Ennis was fully ready to participate and hold him accountable. This is not a situation where she recanted, nor that the prosecutor had new evidence that it didn’t happen.” Just so that we’re all clear about what exactly Reuben was charged with… Tampa police said Foster and Ennis were involved in a verbal altercation and that “Foster slapped her phone out of her hand, pushed her in the chest area, and slapped her with an open hand on the left side of her face.” Police said a 1-inch scratch was observed on her left collarbone. This incident followed a February 2018 arrest where Reuben was suspected of domestic violence and weapons possession. Charges were dropped when Elissa recanted her initial testimony that Reuben hit her. She then said the recant was lie during an interview on GMA. A “love” lie. Scot. Free.

So Sad: 10-Year-Old In Florida Dies From Heroin And Fentanyl In His System

Getty Images Florida Child Dead With Heroin And Fentanyl In His System A 10-year-old boy in Florida is the latest and one of the youngest to die from our nationwide drug epidemic. The boy, Alton Banks, began vomiting after a trip to the public pool late in June. He was later found unconscious, and though he was rushed to a hospital, he was then pronounced dead. The exact circumstances for the child’s death are still unknown, but preliminary toxicology reports show that he had both heroin and fentanyl in his system–according to Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle, this combination is lethal, and has taken many lives across the country. Investigators do not suspect that Banks was exposed to these drugs at home, leading them to question how this tragedy happened. In Florida, 3,228 people died from overdoses in 2015, a nearly 23 percent increase from the previous year. Because the case is still being investigated, Miami-Dade medical examiner’s office could not make any comment.

Bans A Make ‘Em Mad: Federal Judge In Seattle Shuts Down Trump’s Travel Ban Temporarily

Federal Judge Files Lawsuit Against Trump’s Travel Ban The people of the United States aren’t here for burnt sienna POTUS’ travel ban on predominantly Muslim countries. The outrage is so vitriolic that a federal judge in Seattle gave a Dikembe Mutombo finger to the whole thing and Donald is PISSED! According to NYDailyNews , a lawsuit has been filed against Trump’s executive order and is ready to fight it all the way to the Supreme Court: “The law is a powerful thing — it has the ability to hold everybody accountable to it, and that includes the President of the United States,” State Attorney General Bob Ferguson said at a press conference after the Friday evening ruling. Washington is the first state to file suit against the order (New York has joined the suit) but several other judges in both Boston and Virginia have also issued restraining order barring deportation of people affect by the ban. The order, signed off by United States District Judge James Robart, argues Trump’s executive action “adversely” affects “areas of employment, education, business, family relations and freedom to travel.” Reversing the action, the suit concluded, is thereby in the public interest. Trump’s resident do-boy boot-licker, Sean Spicer, says the suit is “outrageous” and issued a brown-nosing statement: “The President’s order is intended to protect the homeland, and he has the constitutional authority and responsibility to protect the American people,” Spicer said in a Friday night statement. George Zimmerman Seeks Delay of Trial, is Broke

George Zimmerman needs money to pay for his legal defense and wants to delay his trial because he says prosecutors have been slow to turn over evidence. Attorneys for the ex-neighborhood watch volunteer charged with shooting Trayvon Martin to death on Wednesday asked for more time to prepare his case. At the same time, his lead attorney, Mark O’Mara, renewed his request for donations to Zimmerman’s legal defense, which he said could cost up to $1 million. “The state has virtually unlimited resources to prosecute George,” he said, whereas George “relies on the generosity of individuals who believe he is innocent.” Spokesman Shawn Vincent said attorneys want his second-degree murder trial to be moved from June to November. Zimmerman pleaded not guilty . A hearing in which Zimmerman will argue he was acting in self-defense is scheduled for April. The judge has said that hearing will be at least 45 days before the trial. O’Mara said prosecutors had been slow to turn over evidence. As an example, he said someone from State Attorney’s Office had removed Martin’s cell phone from an evidence locker to have it sent to California for analysis. He is upset, however, that the state has refused to give him any information about the agency and the type of tests being run on the deceased’s phone. He also said prosecutors are stonewalling his questions for a chief investigative agent and hved refused to forward them other information on Martin and a witness. O’Mara also asked the public to donate more money for his defense, saying on the web site that Zimmerman’s defense fund has raised more than $314,000. Of that amount, $95,000 was spent on bail, almost $62,000 was spent on Zimmerman’s living expenses during the past eight months and $56,100 on security. The living expenses were the result of Zimmerman having to stay at extended-stay hotels; bail conditions were changed to restrict him to Seminole County, Fla.

Tareq Salahi: Running For Governor of Virginia!

White House party crasher, former reality star and perennial fame whore Tareq Salahi is running for Governor of Virginia as an “independent Republican.” Salahi said back in April that he planned to run for governor and seek the Republican nomination, but decided yesterday to run apart from the GOP ticket. State Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II was the only person to file as a GOP candidate for governor, and he was deemed the nominee Monday. He is expected to face veteran campaign strategist Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, with the former Mr. Michaele Salahi running as a third party candidate. Salahi told The Washington Post that this improves chances in November. “That’s the best way I can win this race, not going to the convention,” he said. “I’m doing just like Bill Bolling did. I can’t agree with anything that Cuccinelli believes in.” Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling left the GOP contest in November and is also considering an independent bid. Virginia’s gubernatorial race is set for this November. Salahi is, of course, best known for crashing a White House State Dinner with wife Michaele Salahi, before she left him for Journey guitarist Neal Schon. Remeber that whole saga? That was hilarious.

Chris Brown: Off the Hook in Phone Theft Case!

Chris Brown  just caught a huge break, as prosecutors FINALLY decided they will not charge the singer for stealing some girl’s phone earlier this year. A police report was filed against Brown in February for “robbery by sudden snatching” after he allegedly grabbed a fellow club-goer’s iPhone in Miami. “Bitch, you ain’t going to put that on no website,” he told her in classic, eloquent Chris fashion. But after a thorough investigation, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office “determined we are not taking any type of criminal action ,” according to TMZ. “We have forwarded our findings to Los Angeles for the probation case review after conducting the same process that every criminal case in Miami-Dade County undergoes.” Officials say rapper Tyga was interviewed as a witness in the case, as the iPhone ultimately ended up in the hands of Devon Blanche, head of Tyga’s security team. According to police, Blanche told investigators: “Chris may have taken [the phone] because Brown is known to be especially concerned that if photographs of himself with two females got out, it might cause him problems with Rihanna.” This was in February, when Brown was still dating Karrueche Tran . Tran also issued a statement during the investigation, in which she said the woman who owned the phone had stuck it in Brown’s car … and struck Karrueche in the head. During the incident, Tran claims the woman dropped the phone in the car and it was eventually tossed out the window. Different than Tyga’s tale, to be sure. Ultimately though, prosecutors say it’s plausible that the woman did put her phone in the car and that Brown simply “[removed] from the vehicle an object which didn’t belong there.” In that scenario, he wouldn’t have broken any laws. If Chris were to be prosecuted, it would have triggered a probation violation for him back in L.A., where he’s still on probation for the 2009 Rihanna beating. It would’ve also capped off quite a week for Chris, who has taken serious heat for his vulgar Twitter beef with Jenny Johnson , a comedian “hater.”

Florida Crazies: Pimp Boss And His ‘Coach’ Push 13-Year-Old Into Prostitution

They coached the poor thang into prostitution and used her money to pay their own bills! The little girl must have missed out on having a strong male (or adult period) in her life because these two look crazy! According to The Miami Herald : The young girl had run away from home to be with her much-older boyfriend and within a day her beau made a shocking demand, according to police: Become his prostitute or go home…The 13-year-old agreed. She worked the Biscayne Boulevard strip, giving the man half the money she earned, police said, until he threatened to kill her. Now that man, Daron Eugene Sneed, 26, is in jail and facing a slew of charges, including procuring a person under the age of 18 for prostitution. He is being held in a Miami-Dade jail without bail. A woman who worked with him — and, police said, helped train the girl to be a prostitute — also was arrested on various charges. Melquinice T. Macklin, 20, was being held in a Miami-Dade jail on $2 million bail. Both were booked into jail Thursday after a lengthy investigation. Reached by phone, Macklin’s mother, who did not give her name, said “Those are just allegations. Obviously that’s why we have the court of law.” The investigation involved Miami-Dade schools police, Miami police and the State Attorney’s Office. It was the fall of 2011. The girl was waiting for her school bus at Northwest 22nd Avenue and 183rd Street when Sneed, also known as “Killer,” went up and befriend her. They kept in touch, first through their cell phones, later meeting up in person at a playground. On Sept. 11, 2011, the girl ran away from home with Sneed. While on a bus to Biscayne Boulevard, Sneed convinced her to work as a prostitute, “telling her that, if she didn’t do it, then she would have to return home,” the affidavit said. He knew her age was 13. She performed her first act of prostitution 15 minutes after getting on Biscayne inside an abandoned home for $80. Macklin gave the girl lessons in how to be a prostitute, the affidavit said, even though the girl had been reported as a runaway. For about a week, she worked mostly out of the Kings Motel, 7150 Biscayne Blvd., giving half the money she earned to Sneed, who beat up johns who refused to pay, according to the affidavit. Macklin and Sneed supervised, using the money for food and shelter. On Sept. 17, 2011, the girl left after Sneed threatened to kill her. Police are worried there are other victims and are asking folks for help. Keep an eye on your kids folks! Images via Miami-Dade Corrections

For Your Information: Why Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” Law Is Working AGAINST Justice For Trayvon Martin’s Shooting Death

Sometimes the laws made to “protect us” end up doing more harm than good. Sanford police let George Zimmerman go home after he shot and killed Trayvon Martin last month, but Central Florida police agencies routinely make arrests for murder in “stand your ground” cases — and then let courts decide if a killing is justified. Passage of Florida’s landmark self-defense law in October 2005 caused initial confusion, but court records show police and prosecutors now file charges more often than not. Central Florida’s “stand your ground” claimants already in prison or awaiting trial range from an off-duty security guard to a retired Orlando police officer, bar patrons and a man who chopped off his cousin’s hand with a machete. So if police make these type of arrests regularly, why the hell isn’t George Zimmerman punk azz walking the streets??? Those and many other cases headed for trial share a common factor: witnesses willing to testify. In January 2011, 15 to 20 people were nearby when Chad Bekari Smith claimed two men shot at him outside an Orlando gas station. A security guard and father of three, Smith drew his licensed pistol, wounded both men, called 911 on his cellphone and waited for police to arrive, according to his arrest report. “I was going to lose my life, so I reacted and defended my life,” Smith, then 23, told his lawyer, according to court records. But police did not believe him. Nor did a jury that convicted Smith last fall of two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. His conviction and 20-year prison sentence are under appeal. Unlike that case, there were no known eyewitnesses when Trayvon died Feb. 26 in a confrontation with Zimmerman inside the gated Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood. The teen was walking back from a 7-Eleven when he was followed by Zimmerman, 28, a Neighborhood Watch volunteer who fired a single shot and later told police Trayvon attacked him, records show. That’s hardest type of case for prosecutors. When the alleged aggressor is dead and there are no witnesses, “it is harder to disprove or to prove beyond a reasonable doubt” that the shooter claiming self-defense faced a credible threat, according to Randy Means, chief investigator and spokesman for the Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office. “Since very little case law exists, all we have to go on is our interpretation of the statute. It’s too new for us to use case law effectively,” Means said. “It is frustrating for the charging prosecutors.” Ultimately, the decision to charge Zimmerman with murder lies in the hands of State Attorney Norm Wolfinger who was one of several prosecutors who lobbied AGAINST “stand your ground” in 2006. Hopefully his stance on the law will help set the type of precedent needed to put George Zimmerman in jail for a LONG time! Source More On Bossip! Where Are My Parents: 17-Year-Old Brit Girl Popped In Miami Trying To Smuggle 30lbs That Soft White From Miami As Cake Mix

This is Ayesha Niles. She spent her eighteenth birthday in a Miami-Dade County jail on Monday after trying to live out rap lyrics in real life. Via CNN.com An 18-year-old woman who was arrested after nearly 30 pounds of cocaine was found hidden in cake mix boxes in her suitcase will be charged as an adult, according to a Florida state attorney’s office. Ayesha Niles, who lives in London, was traveling from Jamaica to London with a stopover at Miami International Airport on Friday when she went through a routine luggage check. “Twenty-four boxes of cake mix in your luggage,” Ed Griffith, spokesperson Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, told CNN. “It just seemed extremely unusual.” It was unusual enough that the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent sent Niles to the inspection area for a second screening. According to the arrest affidavit the boxes of cake mix contained a total of “+/- 29.30 pounds of powder cocaine.” According to the state attorney’s office the estimated street value of the cocaine in London is $650,000.00. The affidavit says Niles told law enforcement that the boxes were placed in her luggage in Jamaica but she was not aware of what the boxes contained. Niles was arrested on charges of trafficking of cocaine and transporting of a control substance. Niles turned 18-years-old this week and because of her age of majority and the seriousness of the crime the state attorney’s office has filed notice that she will be charged as an adult. Niles, who is still in the juvenile system currently, could not be reached for comment. “This is an extremely serious charge,” Griffith said. “She is looking at minimum mandatory prison time upon a conviction.” If convicted Niles could be sentences up to 15 years in prison for each count. In cake mix boxes though? Pray for these babies, y’all.
