For some reason, R. Kelly decided it would be a good idea to do a TV interview amid his severe sexual abuse charges. On Tuesday, the singer — who has been accused of partaking in sexual acts with three children older than 13 but younger than 17 — spoke out in his first post-jail interview since turning himself in to Chicago police last month. He opened up to CBS This Morning with Gayle King saying: “They’re going back to the past and they trying to add all of this stuff now to that, to make all of the stuff that’s going on now [feel] real to people. be stupid of him to hold girls against their will. Use your common sense. Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to; love me if you want. But just use your common sense. Kelly added: “How stupid would it be for me with my crazy past and what I’ve been through? I didn’t do this stuff. This is not me. I’m fighting for my f****** life.” The 52-year old was charged in on Feb. 22 with 10 counts of felony aggravated sexual abuse. If convicted, he faces three to seven years in prison for each count. Edgar Hansen, one of the stars on the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch, pleaded guilty in court late last week to the sexual abuse of a 16-year old. According to The Seattle Times, Hansen confessed to a charge of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation on Friday. In exchange for his plea, he received a 364-day suspended prison sentence and was ordered to undergo a sexual deviance evaluation. He also received two years’ probation and various fees and fines totaling $1,653, with an additional $4,800 fine suspended, court records show. Hansen will not serve any time behind bars. The 47-year old fisherman is the deck boss and key crew member of a Seattle-based crabbing boat helmed by his older brother, Sig Hansen. The siblings have risen to fame and fortune due to their popular Discovery Channel reality series. As for the details of this ugly case? A 16-year-old girl told her therapist in October of last year that Hansen sexually assaulted her at a suburban Seattle home on September 30, 2017. The aforementioned newspaper cited a probable-cause affidavit filed in Snohomish County District Court to back up this allegation. This teenager also relayed to the police these same allegations. In a brief handwritten statement accompanying his guilty plea, Hansen acknowledged “touching [the victim’s] private areas … for the purpose of my own sexual gratification.” He added: “I committed this assault… I am very sorry for that conduct and I have commenced treatment to ensure that nothing like this assault ever happens again.” The victim (unnamed because she is a minor) said Hansen “kissed her on the lips, touched her vagina and had her touch his penis,” prosecutors said in their probable cause affidavit. Investigators also spoke with Hansen’s wife, who said she “confronted him” after learning of the abuse. He “initially denied” it, but “eventually admitted that he kissed [the victim] and touched her inappropriately.” Edgar Hansen’s guilty plea comes just weeks after his famous brother, Sig, was sentenced to probation for spitting on an Uber driver last year. This Deadliest Catch caption was given a deferred sentence, ordered to undergo alcohol treatment and placed on a year of probation. Sig told People Magazine at the time that he was “terribly sorry” and “very embarrassed” for his role in this incident. Sig Hansen is also currently awaiting a decision from the state Court of Appeals over a King County judge’s ruling that would allow a sexual-abuse lawsuit brought by his estranged daughter, Melissa Eckstrom, to proceed to trial. He has denied her claims referring to Eckstrom’s law suit “an old-fashioned shakedown.” Also of note, in regard to Deadliest Catch, Blake Painter, a former captain on the show, died in May of a suspected drug overdose . Neither Hansen sibling nor any Discovery Channel representative has spoken yet on Edgar Hansen’s crime.

Seline revealed her master plan and the news that she was going to atone for what she did to Sybil on the island. Alaric and Matt joined forces to rid Mystic Falls of Damon Salvatore, so they murdered him. Yes, you guys, Damon Salvatore is DEAD . View Slideshow: 15 Best Shows in CW History: Ranked! Well, for now, at least. The CW’s promo that aired right after the big death confirmed he was very much alive, so it ruined whatever suspense the show still had. The episode definitely succeeded in upping the action, but the characters are getting a little too annoying for my liking. Take Enzo, for example. He seemed out of the woods and now he’s in deeper than ever before with Sybil. It’s time for Bonnie to get her magic back and find a loop hole to save this mess before it ends with a terrible finale. This show has been on the air for 8 years. The fans deserve an ending that celebrates the previous seasons. Thus far, it’s been full of back and forth with the new villains and it’s tiring. Does Jenelle Evans just like fighting over the custody of her children? Because that’s really starting to look like the only logical explanation for what’s happening in her life. Maybe she watched a little too much Maury growing up, you know? (Actually, that could explain a lot of things .) Maybe when she gave up custody of her oldest son to her dear mother, Barbara, she did it in hopes that, one day, she could kind of, sort of get her life together just a tiny bit, then go to court and try to get the kid back. “But wait,” she’d have thought to herself. “Better be sure to do heroin and get arrested at least a dozen times to prolong things.” Maybe she likes feeling fancy, dressing up and talking to lawyers and judges. Maybe they make killer coffee at her local courthouse. We don’t know. But with all the years the custody battle over Jace has dragged on, and with how she keeps choosing awful, awful men to have children with, she has to like something about all the drama. Otherwise, nothing makes sense. Nothing is beautiful and everything hurts. We’re theorizing about all this, by the way, because Jenelle has just launched yet another custody battle, this time with Nathan Griffith, the father of her younger son, Kaiser. Yes, she’s still in the never-ending custody battle over Jace, too, and yes, she and Nathan had a previous custody battle that was settled back in May. Back then, they agreed on joint custody , with Jenelle getting primary physical custody. But now, Jenelle’s just not content with that agreement anymore. She’s filed a motion to get sole custody. According to court documents, Jenelle claims that Nathan told her that his “mental health is not stable and that he is unable to care for the minor child.” Nathan also allegedly told her that “he has plans to move out of the country in the near future.” It was also pointed out that he has “multiple pending criminal charges.” What’s more, Jenelle was informed that Nathan has “a substance abuse issue and is unable to care for the minor child” during the small amount of time he does spend with the kid. He “does not have a suitable and healthy home environment to exercise visitation with the minor child,” and even if he did, he “does not regularly exercise his visitation with the minor child.” And see, this is a tough situation, because while Jenelle is obviously awful, Nathan is just ridiculously terrible. He’s been arrested so many times, and much more recently than Jenelle. For example, he was arrested in August for breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s house and choking her . That’s according to new docs Ross filed in response to his baby mama Tia Kemp’s lawsuit to up child support from $2,800 a month to $20,000. Kemp “has prohibited the minor child from visiting with Respondent and engaged in acts of parental alienation as to impede on the minor child’s ability to fully experience a life or parenting time with the Respondent,” Ross wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Ross said that Kemp won’t meet him halfway when it comes to visiting the boy: she’s refused to hand him over to Ross even though she knows he’s under house arrest in Georgia as he fights charges that he beat and kidnapped his gardener. Ross “asserts that the petitioner has engaged in behaviors to prohibit the minor child from visiting and partaking in the lifestyle of the Respondent,” Ross wrote in the Dec. 18 filing in Broward County Circuit Court.
