She passed away at the age of 65 on New Year’s Day. 5. Glenn Frey Glenn Frey passed away. The singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the Eagles waa 67. 6. Antonin Scalia Antonin Scalia, a giant of the U.S. Supreme Court for more than three decades, died of natural causes in February.
