21 Savage Has Finally Been Released From ICE Custody And Fans Are Ecstatic

Source: Patricia Schlein/WENN.com / WENN 21 Savage  is officially a free man….well, for now, at least. After spending over a week in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following his arrest on February 3, the rapper was released on bond on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from  TMZ . 21’s lawyers gave a statement to the publication quickly following his release. “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together,” Alex Spiro, Charles H. Kuck and Dina LaPolt said in the joint statement. “He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people, he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. And he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.” If you’re not caught up on why Savage was detained in the first place, he was arrested following a traffic stop in Atlanta in early February and was taken into custody when officials found that the rapper is actually a citizen of the United Kingdom. ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said at the time, “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ‘21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta. Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.” Though authorities initially claimed that Savage’s visa expired in July 2006, his legal team later debunked that story. But now, celebrations are in order that 21 has finally been released from the detention center he was held in for over a week–although, he didn’t get off completely scot-free; The rapper was released on bond pending a deportation hearing and luckily, his attorneys say that 21 was granted an expedited hearing. With that being said, 21 FINALLY getting out as he should of when he was first arrested is something to be happy about, and fans are definitely celebrating this occasion. Take a look at how some celebrities, fans, and friends reacted once news broke that 21 has been released from ICE’s custody. Prayer works. — Kei (@keiopensdoors) February 12, 2019 FREE ON BOND. Ariana Grande Calls "Literal Bullsh-t" on Mac Miller Grammy Loss

Ariana Grande did not attend the 2019 Grammy Awards . As previously detailed, the popular pop star got into a beef with producers over her planned performance, eventually canceling it altogether and skipping the ceremony completely. But while Grande wasn’t in attendance on Sunday night, she clearly tuned in to the event at home. And, boy, was she angry about it! Grande live-Tweeted a significant portion of the telecast. After winning Best Pop Vocal Album for “Sweetener,” for example, Ariana wrote: “I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh) and I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things, but f-ck. “This is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much.” She also thanked her collaborators and professional partners, as you can see below: However, Grande’s good mood didn’t last. When it came to the Best Rap Album category, Grande expressed her extreme frustration at Cardi B taking home the top prize over her late ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller. Especially because the Recording Academy had invited Miller’s grieving parents to attend the show. “Trash. F-ck. Bullsh-t. Literal bullsh-t,” Grande Tweeted in response to this result, quickly clarifying that she did not mean to throw any shade at Cardi B: “Nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry,” she wrote. The singer went on to explain that she was upset on behalf of Miller’s family, who flew out to Los Angeles specifically for the Grammys. “Y’all invited Mac’s parents out and you didn’t give him an award are y’all DUMB? @RecordingAcademy,” a fan tweeted, to which Grande replied: “This. this is what i meant. karen was gonna have a green suit made.” Grande eventually deleted all Tweets related to Miller’s loss. Miller tragically passed away from a drug overdose in September of 2018. He and Grande dated for about two years and only broke up a few months before he died. For whatever it’s worth, Miller  was  honored during the In Memoriam segment of the show.  Last Thursday, meanwhile, Grande blased Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich for saying that Ariana couldn’t perform at the event because she didn’t have time to “pull together” a set. Sources have said Ariana was actually pissed that producers told her NOT to sing the track “7 Rings” due to some plagirism rumors surrounding the hit. “I’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me,” Grande fired back on Twitter, adding: “I can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. “it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more.” She added: “I offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. not politics. not doing favors or playing games. “it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.”

The 2019 Grammy Awards aired live from Los Angeles on Sunday night. And while the best-known stars from the music world came out for the event, let's be honest: No one cared about what songs they sang or what albums they recorded. But she still got all dolled up for the Grammys, as you can see here. 2. Alicia Keys at 2019 Grammys Alicia Keys looked amazing on the Grammys red carpet. Then she went out and hosted the awards! 3. Ariana Grande Trashes Grammys Producer: Stop Lying About Me!

Ariana Grande is not singing a very happy tune right now. One might say, in fact, that she’s hit upon a very sour note. And this is why… Earlier this week, Grande announced that she would not be performing at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, allegedly because producers told her to avoid including the track “7 Rings” in her medly, following claims of lyric-stealing against the artist. Of course, this is not what producer Ken Ehrlich told the Associated Press. He told the outlet that, after a month of negotiating, Ariana “felt it was too late for her to pull something together” for the show, which is will air live from Los Angeles. Grande, however, is now calling complete BS on this statement. mhmmm here it is ! “too late for her to pull something together……” Grande wrote as a caption to a screen shot of Ehrlich’s interview, clearly questioning the producer’s assertion. She then went after the executive in a far more personal and pointed manner. “i’ve kept my mouth shut but now you’re lying about me,” Grande Tweeted, adding: “i can pull together a performance over night and you know that, Ken. it was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. “i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more,” she continued. On an angry roll, Grande continued as follows: “i offered 3 different songs. it’s about collaboration. it’s about feeling supported. it’s about art and honesty. “not politics. not doing favors or playing games. it’s just a game y’all.. and i’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me.” This is all a bit unusual and awkward because, in the weeks leading up to the Grammys, the Recording Academy had been using Grande’s image to promote the show. Heck, the pop star said she “passed a Grammy’s bus with my face on it typing those” new tweets. She’s also nominated for best pop vocal album for her acclaimed LP Sweetener, as well as best pop solo performance for “God Is a Woman.” Like we said: Awkward! Grande did conclude her response by showing appreciation for the ceremony and for these nominations. “hope that helps everyone understand my decision,” she wrote. “i am still grateful for the acknowledgment this year,” she added, prior to sharing a teaser promoting her new album, which drops at midnight. The Recording Academy has not yet commented on Ariana’s remarks.

According to the  Associated Press , Cardi is going to takeover the new Las Vegas club.
