The last time she gave us a taste of her cooking, her Patti Pies created a frenzy and sold out across America. Now she is giving us a taste of her soul food. The Philly native has partnered with Walmart again for a frozen food line of her soul food. “Coming soon to a Walmart near you, you’ll have my savory foods,” LaBelle told the crowd at Essence Fest last weekend MSN reports. “There will be foods like macaroni and cheese. LaBelle warned fans to eat her rich, savory foods moderately because she has to do the same because of her diabetes. “Health is important, I’m a diabetic,” she told the crowd. “And when I make macaroni and cheese I don’t usually eat it, I taste it, because I am a diabetic for 25 years. Ladies and gentlemen, you have to take care of yourselves and eat healthier. But eat.” LaBelle and Walmart have partnered before when she released her famous sweet potato pie, chocolate, caramel and red velvet cakes, buttermilk pies and cobblers. The “Press” rapper broke down why she won’t be embarking on her first headlining tour despite her success. In a now deleted Instagram post, Cardi said it is more lucrative for her to do festivals rather than concerts of her own. The costs of going on tour and funding her stage production would come out of her pocket, which she isn’t ready to do. Her performance at the Palms Resort and Casino earned her $300,000. She performed at the Open Air Frauenfeld in Europe on July 11th and she raked in $900,000. “Now why would I do that now when I can go on tour on my second album while I get festival and independent Cardi concerts. Melyssa Ford Says She Contemplated Suicide After Car Accident

The 42-year-old, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and massive concussion, opened up about the difficult recovery process,  including thr nightmares she has. “It comes back in dreams—the sounds of metal scraping on the pavement, which is one of the most horrible sounds in the world,” she told Essence. The accident also worsened her depression and led to her contemplating suicide. “It was the most frightening experience of my entire life because I truly could not see tomorrow. Email Submit Along with battling depression,  Ford was also dealing with the physical recovery from the accident, which was brutal. “I had to walk with a walker for about a month. I just could not right myself or stand on my own. Lying down felt like I was being submerged in water. It was this weird sensation of almost dry drowning, which is an awful feeling.” Ford also suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on her brain. While recovering mentally and physically, Ford found her way back into the gym. While Hussle’s family hasn’t publicly spoken against Emani’s mother, Tanisha Foster, it’s pretty clear that they don’t deem her fit to raise Emani. While Foster has filed a petition for guardianship, Hussle’s sister and other members of the family have asked the court to grant them guardianship. The U.S. State Department has weighed in on the ordeal of the A$AP Mob star in a new statement. POLITICO reports : A State Department spokesperson said that the department is aware of the case and that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been briefed. Top officials at the department, including Robert O’Brien, the special presidential envoy for hostage affairs, are also closely monitoring the situation and working to make sure the rapper is treated fairly. “There are certainly some facts about the arrest and detention that raise concerns,” the spokesperson said. “We expect all governments, including Sweden, to treat American citizens fairly and with respect. … We hope to see ASAP Rocky and his colleagues back on tour and reunited with friends and family soon.” Swedish prosecutors must decide by Friday whether to charge Rocky, who is being held in solitary confinement, or ask a court to let them hold him longer. After playing him an unnamed track saluting Marion, Crooked got Snoop to discuss the direction he took on the song. “I want to showcase the positive side. Like, ni***s being CEOs, having their own sh*t and being able to do [their] thing” he explained. He went to further commend his ex boss. “He showed ni***s a different mentality, that you can be the owner — you could be a boss. You got to highlight that; they ain’t never going to highlight it.
