Queen Latifah is still standing by the Empire actor, for now. The talented rapper and actress just needs more evidence that Smollett made everything up. Reports Page Six : Smollett has been charged with filing a false police report, and was last week slammed by Chicago cops for taking advantage “of the pain and anger of racism to promote his career.” But Queen Latifah insisted: “The guy I’ve seen has always been someone who cares about people, who cares about others, and who’s very kind and who’s always been cool and sweet. “And that’s just the guy I know. So until I can see some definitive proof — which I haven’t seen yet — then, you know, I gotta go with him until I see otherwise.” Fair enough? Judge Brett Kavanaugh is accused of attempting to sexually assault a woman when he was 17 and she was even younger. His accuser is an accomplished academic — a professor named Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and she’s already braved some horrible attacks to speak her truth. She’s now asking that the FBI conduct an investigation into the incident before she’ll take the stand at a hearing herself and she’s being backed by powerful women, including Anita Hill , who was in a very similar situation nearly 30 years ago when she stepped forward about suffering sexual harassment while working with Judge Clarence Thomas, who as a SCOTUS nominee at the time. Watch Anita’s talk on Dr. Blasey Ford’s position below: For anyone against an investigation — we simply can’t fathom WHY we would not thoroughly VET a SCOTUS nominee. Just do the investigation so that the Senate can fairly hear out Dr. Blasey Ford if she does take the stand! And for the people who argue that Kavanaugh was just 17 at the time — 17 is old enough to know right from wrong and to know better than trying to disrobe a woman or take advantage of her. This man will sit on the highest court of the United States if he’s confirmed. His character should be thoroughly investigated and no stone should be left unturned. Hit the flip for Sen. Image via Nicky Nelson/WENN Terry Crews Files Lawsuit Against Alleged Groper Adam Venit Terry Crews is deadazz serious about getting justice for the sexual abuse that he suffered literally at the hands of William-Morris Endeavor executive Adam Venit. As we previously reported, Crews filed a police report detailing the events of the night he was allegedly groped by Venit at a Hollyweird party last year. Today it was reported by TMZ that Crews has filed a lawsuit. Just like in his interview with Michael Strahan, Terry states in his suit that Venit leered at him “like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively.” Despite Venit’s apology and WME’s chairman, Ari Emanuel’s quelling phone call, Crews isn’t allowing ol’ boy to get away scot-free in this era of accountability. Crews says the embarrassment, emasculation and fear of retaliation has severely affected his career. Sounds like Adam Venit is about to have to hand over a big bag in addition to facing potential criminal charges. Good. No passes. None.
Image via WENN Doc Breaks Down Kanye West’s Ruined Relationship With JAY-Z One of Kanye West’s old homies is spilling ALL the beans about the “extensive” collection of porn flicks he once owned in an upcoming documentary titled: Public Enemies: Jay-Z v. Kanye according to HollywoodLife : “He had African s*** throughout the house, crates of records everywhere and an extensive porno collection,” Eugene McNair, a friend from Kanye’s childhood, told Channel 4. “‘It was like damn — he likes girls, he likes clothes, he likes music, he likes African s***, he likes art and you know we all jam.” The director and editor of the doc also tell RealScreen that the doc will focus on the deterioration of Kanye’s relationship with JAY-Z: “In the process of building their empires, Jay-Z and Kanye have provided a spine tingling soundtrack for a generation,” said director Nico Wasserman in a statement. “Their story goes beyond their music and has opened up discussions on everything from class barriers to mental health.” “Arguably two of the coolest and most influential artists in the world, their incredible life stories offer a fascinating new twist on the American dream,” added Rob Coldstream, Channel 4′s commissioning editor of special factual. “These are two mega-personalities whose success and rivalry has captured the public’s imagination.” Sounds like it could be interesting. The actress who’s currently promoting her film “Girls Trip” recently stopped by Atlanta’s “The Ryan Cameron Morning Show With Wanda Smith” and spoke candidly on her true feelings on “All Eyez On Me” which she previously called “deeply hurtful.” According to Jada nothing’s changed, her feelings are STILL hurt because the film was a “disservice” to Pac’s legacy. “What you’re seeing in regards to my relationship with 2Pac is not true,” she told The Ryan Cameron Morning Show with Wanda Smith and Jarard J. “Those posts, the actress explained, were “important to me because my relationship was really special and it was very complicated; and I just felt like [the movie] was a huge disservice. “My relationship with Pac would have shown people a true—what he truly was,” she added. “Cause it’s one thing to see Pac’s persona, publicly, and who he was personally.” She also flat-out called it “exploitive” and tearfully added that we as a people need to “protect” important individuals to our culture. https://www.instagram.com/p/BWcvTw7A7HQ/?taken-by=v103atlanta “I felt like [‘All Eyez On Me’] was exploitive of me and Pac – how they used our relationship to sell a movie.
