Last week, it was a bit of a shock to see who went home on Dancing With The Stars . This week, Ray Lewis had to sit out from dancing, as training had awoken an old sports injury. He has to have surgery on the tendons in his foot. Producers were able to scramble and come up with a substitution, but that wasn’t the night’s only surprise. … Former winner Rashad Jennings stepped up to fill in for Ray, performing a Cha Cha with Cheryl Burke. This special substitution presented their best interpretation of what had been planned for Ray. Honestly, producers have to fill timeslots right down to the second. Then came Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko performing a Tango. Lauren moves well, but she is not super confident or giving off the right vibes. It seems to be a mental thing, rather than physical. The judges decreed: 6 7 7 Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten were a joy as they performed the Rumba, and not only because of their choice of music. But also that. This was a surprisingly sub-par performance for Hannah, but only because Hannah is a great dancer. It was still very good. The judges agreed, handing out: 7 7 7 Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson did not exactly wow the panel with their Jive. Remember, even the most fun formal dances are about controlled movements. Karamo’s were a little erratic, which was disappointing. The judges want to see better from him, and awarded him: 5 5 6 Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber performed a Rumba. This was a jarringly good performance and showed noticeable improvemen. Ally’s movements were beautiful and a pleasure to watch. The judges felt the same way, doling out: 8 8 8 Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson also came in with a Rumba. Kel’s dancing was a little stiff. It looks like he really just needs more experience with dance and he can improve — which is the point of the show. Though he ended up in the danger zone by the episode’s end, Kel received a 7 6 7 James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater were nothing short of majestic as they danced a Rumba. At this point James at least has some competition, but he continues to bully everyone with his graceful dancing and his charisma (despite one slip up). The judges ruled: 8 7 8 Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov continued their marked improvement since the first episode with a Quickstep. She really did well, with only one slip up. In fact, Kate seems to have an instinct for dance that makes her a joy to watch. That’s how the judges felt, too, as they handed her: 8 8 8 Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Tango. Sailor treated audiences to an almost too dazzling smile and moved with the grace of a professional. This is where you really see dance as an art form. The pleased judges handed her: 7 8 8 Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatoyd were … less improssive with their Tango. Lamar actually showed an observable improvement because there were moments when he really did well. But only part of the time. A number of slip-ups earned Lamar: 6 5 5 Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold weren’t fooling anyone with their Cha Cha. Sadly, it seems that Sean lacks a sense of rhythm as much as he lacks a sense of morality. He was too fast, he was too slow — at some point, he just seemed lost. Audiences understand the gimmick of having an infamous refrigerator-thief who should be behind bars for his role in the Trump regime on the show. But with a score from the judges of 5, 5, and 5, how long is he really going to stick around? Ultimately, Sean, along with Lamar and Kel, skated by this week because of Ray Lewis’ departure. Ray was the “elimination” by default. View Slideshow: Dancing With the Stars: Who Will Win Season 28?
We’ve all faced difficult decisions in life. But few of us have ever wound up in such a troubling dilemma as the one in which Tekashi69 now finds himself. In case, you’re unfamiliar with what might be the strangest celebrity scandal of the year, here’s a brief rundown of the rapper’s current quandary. Back in November, Tekashi was arrested for a litany of crimes, most of which were related to his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. There was a time when it looked as though Tekashi would remain behind bars for the rest of his life . With the prospect of several decades behind bars looming before him, perhaps it’s not surprising that Tekashi — whose real name is Daniel Hernandez — decided to turn state’s witness and inform on his fellow Nine Treys. Over the course of three days of testimony in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison, Tekashi snitched not only on the defendants, but also on several prominent figures in the hip hop community. Tekashi identified Cardi B as a member of the Nine Treys, and he told the court that rapper Jim Jones is such a high-ranking member of the organization that he’s able to order hits with impunity. The good news for Tekashi is that he’ll likely receive a much lighter sentence in his own trial as a result of his testimony. While he was once facing several decades behind bars, he’s now likely to be released as early as next year. The bad news, of course, is that Hernandez will now be a marked man for the rest of his days, and while the Federal Witness Protection Program has been known to work wonders, celebrities with facial tattoos tend to stand out in rural Arkansas. Already, Tekashi is being mercilessly dragged online with hip hop colleagues and former fans alike deriding him as a “rat” and a “snitch.” Of course, the internet vitriol is nothing compared to the danger that will come once Hernandez is released. Tekashi was already kidnapped by the Nine Treys once, and he testified that he believes he would have been murdered by the gang had he not been arrested first. “I knew I was going to become a target,” he said in court. “I knew they were going to try and hurt me.” Despite his eccentric appearance, it’s likely that Tekashi will be able to disappear if he cooperates with authorities. But it’s important to remember that Tekashi is only 23, and it’s unlikely that any other career field will offer him anything close to the lifestyle he enjoyed as a rapper. So despite the considerable risk involved, he may not want to disappear from the public eye. Hot 97 radio personality Miss Info points out that while Tekashi will be persona non grata in the hip hop community following his release, he’ll also be more famous than ever among the general public. And in 2019, that level of fame might mean that he’ll be able to earn a living as a public figure despite the fact that not he’ll be entirely on his own in an industry in which connections are everything. “In the attention economy, just knowing that 6ix9ine might open his mouth somewhere is like shipping platinum,” she recently told The New York Times. “But nobody with any of their own value will ever stand next to him. So he has to exist in a vacuum and can’t leave his house,” she adds. “All doable things for an artist in 2019 and beyond.” So it’s possible that Tekashi will be willing to literally risk it all in order to continue with his music career. No doubt the public will continue to regard him with rapt fascination — but all that attention might carry with it some profound consequences.
If you watched the Emmys last night or heard about it, at least, then you’re up-to-date on Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner’s completely awkward and uncomfortable award presentation. And how the entire audience started laughing at them , quite ruthlessly. Well, we now have their side of the story, and it’s only furthering the awkwardness, people. Brace yourselves. While the sisters were there to give out the award for Best Reality TV Show Competition, they ran into a little hiccup… but in their defense, it may not have been entirely their fault. When Kim read “Our family knows firsthand how truly compelling television comes from real people just being themselves,” to the audience at the Microsoft Theatre, she didn’t quite catch the humor behind her words. smh… The audience assumed that Kim was making a joke (lol, a really good joke) so, they proceeded to laugh, however, unaware and pissed-off looking Kim put herself in the position of getting laughed at , instead of with . Things only worsened when Kendall made the same mistake as big sis Kim and tried to claim that their show is “unfiltered and unscripted.” But according to Us Weekly , a source shared that Kardashian, 38, and Jenner, 23, “were not briefed” about their teleprompter bits being “a joke.” The insider added that “it was definitely a bit awkward.” Emmys LOL: Watch Kim and Kendall Get Laughed at on Stage! Ok, If you were sitting there watching it like me, you know it was more than just a “bit” awkward. And that the moment called for at least 3 or 4 rewinds. But basically, the girls just missed the memo and didn’t realize that those lines were supposed to be read as jokes. We don’t know if it’s more embarrassing that they didn’t pick up on their own joke, or that they actually may have believed what they were reading? Either way, you gotta admit that this family never fails to entertain , am I right? Apparently, Kim and Kendall weren’t too worried about their unsuccessful moment, and they didn’t take it personally. They “were good sports about it,” another source told Us . “The line was supposed to be funny. They weren’t bothered by people laughing.” Besides, the sister duo arrived in style and their stunning looks are what stole the night anyway. The KKW Beauty owner wore a skintight black velvet gown by Vivienne Westwood, which she accessorized with some chunky necklaces, including a cross necklace. Meanwhile, the Victoria’s Secret model killed it in a pink floral Richard Quinn gown, which she paired with a latex Vex turtleneck. Kylie Jenner was also set to walk the red carpet and present the award beside her sisters that night, but luckily however, she was too sick to make it. “She has been sick for days,” a source told the outlet, so Kylie decided to skip out on the event. After the incident, many fans took to social media to defend the E! TV stars. One fan made a pretty good point, tweeting, #Emmys @KimKardashian @KendallJenner The fact that they will turn your laughs into millions of cash is funnier.” “You look so stunning Kim and Kendall. Highest paid model and highest paid reality star.” Hm… Mic drop? View Slideshow: Kendall Jenner Dubbed “Fashion Icon of the Decade,” Twitter Loses Its Mind
Source: Roger Kisby / Getty Yeah, that will get you arrested. Rapper Kamaiyah got pinched after she reportedly licked off a shot in the screening room on a condo. Nah, you can’t make this stuff up. Reports TMZ : Police say Kamaiyah was hanging out at an apartment building in the San Fernando Valley … where she and some friends made their way into the facility’s movie screening room. Not a theater, per se … but close enough. Anyway, on surveillance footage reviewed by management — and eventually by law enforcement — a woman cops believe is Kamaiyah was seen pulling a handgun from inside her bag before letting a round go in the room. She darted shortly afterward. Law enforcement sources tell us it appears the discharge, during the screening last month, was accidental and the gun went off as Kamaiyah was playing with it. We’re told she wasn’t arguing with anyone beforehand … so there’s no reason to think the bullet was meant for anyone. According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Kamaiyah wasn’t arrested until just a couple weeks ago when a warrant was issued and cops located her. We’re told they found what they believe to be the same gun used at the complex. Kamaiyah was eventually charged with elony negligent discharge of a firearm and had to fork over $35,000 bond.
Source: Getty Images / Getty Images Jeremy Meeks Is Playing Coy With His New Dinner Date Even though he just confirmed their relationship was going strong last week, it looks like Jeremy Meeks is setting his sights on someone other than his (ex?) fiancee Chloe Green . TMZ caught Jeremy showing up at Catch on Friday night in West Hollywood, where he opened the car door to reveal what appears to be his new love interest. Though he keeps things quiet throughout their entrance and exit from the restaurant , Jeremy does share with the paparazzi that his date for the night is Erica Peeples , an actress who’s appeared in Netflix’s True to the Game and Law and Order . They were inside the restaurant together for about three hours before leaving with one another, which is when Meeks introduced his lady to the paps. Unsurprisingly, he avoided all questions about what this meant for his relationship to the mother of his child, Chloe, who was spotted on a yacht last month getting cozy with Monte Carlo polo captain Rommy Gianni.Peep the video down below to see Jeremy in action with what could be his new girl.
On Wedneday, September 11, Larissa Lima and Eric Nichols broke up after a hot and steamy seven months. But it turns out that the breakup was not mutual. In fact, Eric has revealed that Larissa dumped him … over Instagram. To make matters worse, Eric has now found the perfect way to exact revenge. Eric Nichols (whose name was initially reported as Eric Foster) dated Larissa from early February until early September. Unfortunately, their breakup has not been as amicable as anyone (save those of us who get to write about it) had hoped. Eric has taken to his Instagram to share a screenshot of his travel itinerary from his Colorado trip, saying that it was the catalyst for the split. ‘After posting this to my story,” Eric writes. “She DM’d me via Instagram very upset, accusing me that I didn’t invite her, so on and so forth.” He points out that “she herself had been sharing excitement in her stories over the upcoming Colorado trip for the past couple months.” Larissa had made that clear to fans, he adds, “and was literally talking with one of my brothers about it THE NIGHT BEFORE.” “When I had put my phone down to shower and show my house to a future tenant,” Eric reveals. “I got a call from my mother about an hour later.” He says that his mom called “asking ‘are you doing okay?’ And she said ‘I saw a post from :&@:% on FB that you’re parting ways.'” “I didn’t think much of it,” Eric admits. “And,” he continues, he “said ‘I’m not sure, I haven’t seen it yet, but will soon. We’ll be okay, these arguments happen between us often.'” Eric notes that he thought it was an incident “like when she archives our photos from Instagram when she’s upset.” “Continuing my conversation with mother ‘Debie/Duke’ for another 20-30 minutes,” Eric narrates. He writes that he did so “not realizing when we got off the phone, I’d be going back to my DM’s to find multiple messages from my X.” Eric says that Larissa messaged him “stating a finalized break up on her ‘now’ terms.” “From there,” he writes. “I realized I was blocked and the apology DM’s were already packed.” Hard to make things right if you can’t get in touch with someone. Word to the wise: don’t be impatient. “Here’s the thing….” Eric tells his followers. “Lots of fabrication, secrets, stress, endless arguments, and hoops that turned into spirals.” “But,” he emphasizes. “There were some high level times.” We should hope so. The two were an item for seven months! ‘I don’t wish this girl good luck or bad luck,” Eric promises. “I just wish her a new boyfriend…. or husband,” he expresses. “In the history of an 8 month ordeal I am appreciative of certain outcomes,” Eric writes. He and Larissa both do this thing where they count both the starting month and ending month of a relationship. They dated for seven months. “All in all, I do want to give a big shout out to the haters who are instigator traders that balance out the positives,” he shares. “Lastly,” Eric concludes. “I want to give a monstrous THANK YOU TO ALL supportive friends who follow with love & synergy!” That is very sweet of him. But lately, Eric’s attitude has turned a little less sweet. He has been hanging out with Coltee — Larissa’s other, more infamous ex. Eric even spent time with Debbie and with the slot machine that Larissa so despised. This is a giant middle finger to Larissa if there ever were one. Some believe that Eric and Larissa were getting a reality TV deal that Larissa ruined with the breakup, which might explain his spiteful behavior. But maybe it’s just human nature. It’s hard to fall out of love without some bitterness. This is still a fresh wound.
As soon as the news broke that Jay Smith and Kayle O’Brien broke up , fans wondered if he might try to get back with Ashley. He had a much better life with her than she had with him. And the rumors sounded plausible after they showed up at the same event. Now, Ashley is telling 90 Day Fiance fans exactly what’s really going on, and why she and Jay were “together.” Over the weekend — around the same time as Jay’s split with his mistress-turned-girlfriend Kayla — Jay and Ashley appeared at the same venue. That’s odd for exes, especially bitter ones. In fact, it may have been a violation of Ashley’s protective order that is supposed to keep Jay at bay. “Was it weird being at the same event with Jay?” one of her devoted followers asked on Instagram. “It’s expected we both filmed the same show,” Ashley replied, expressing a cavalier attitude. Ashley continued: “I just do my thing and handle my business.” “Why are you and Jay acting like you didn’t hang out last night?” another, more confrontational and accusatory, follower asked. “Where did you see me to know how I’m ‘acting’ about last nights appearance,” Ashley clapped back. “I have not responded about what I did or didn’t do at the event,” she clarified. Ashley continued: “Please don’t state I’m acting some type of way.” “…stop creating stories in your head!” she concluded. That’s very good advice (unless you’re a writer). The venue in question, by the way, was an OK Magazine party. Honestly, the magazine should have known better than to invite both exes. Fine normally, not fine when there’s a domestic violence prevention order. Another guest was Bachelor in Paradise ‘s Christian Estrada, who is notably rumored to be dating Ashley. The most exciting guest of the night was probably Tyler Cameron — who did not have Gigi Hadid with him. (We don’t think that this means that their relationship is in trouble so much as that Gigi has no need to attend an OK Magazine party) We’re sure that it was a large enough crowd that Ashley and Jay could avoid rubbing elbows. Early this summer, Ashley went on a much-needed family vacation. After months of stress, it was the perfect getaway. Unfortunately, during her absence, Jay allegedly broke into her home — months after separation — and took things. Given what Ashley says is a documented history of abuse during their relationship, police advised her to get a PFA. On July 1, Ashley obtained that Protection From Abuse order from the court and Jay was barred from approaching her or discussing the order. Unfortunately, just one day later, he broke the PFA, publicly discussing the order. Police saw it on Instagram. Jay was at least wise enough to voluntarily surrender instead of forcing police to arrest him. Because he is not a legal resident, Jay was placed in ICE custody. He spent the majority of July behind bars and was miserable. (As abhorrent as ICE’s recent crimes against humanity may be, it’s not easy to sympathize with a dude who deliberately broke a restraining order) However, his boss at the tattoo shop wrote up a check and paid his bail once the court actually set bail for him. Jay was free. Honestly, after all of that, you would think that Jay would be more careful about the PFA order. Ashley probably could have made Jay’s life miserable this weekend, but clearly opted to do otherwise. Jay’s recent ex, Kayla, seems to think that Ashley is capricious and wants to lure Jay close to her so that she can call the police. Of course, she has that impression of Ashley because her knowledge of Jay’s ex-wife all comes through Jay. Consider the source, folks. Source: David M. Benett / Getty Demi Moore Makes Some Shocking Revelations In Her Forthcoming Memoir Demi Moore reveals some seriously unexpected and personal details in her new book. In the forthcoming memoir, Inside Out , the actress opens up about losing a pregnancy during her relationship with ex Ashton Kutcher , going on to say that she blamed herself for it because she was drinking at the time. According to reports from the New York Times , Moore revealed in the book that she suffered a miscarriage six months into her pregnancy back in the early 2000s, before she and Kutcher ended up getting married. She was so far into the pregnancy, the couple had already decided on a name for the baby girl. The publication goes on to say that the actress, “started drinking again and blamed herself for the loss.” She and Kutcher tried to conceive again through fertility treatments, but her drinking only got worse. On top of that, Demi began abusing Vicodin. Luckily, Moore told the New York Times she’s now sober. But those aforementioned revelations were far from the only shocking details the actress laid out in her memoir. In the book, she also accuses her then-husband Ashton Kutcher of cheating on her before they separated in 2011. At the time, Page Six reported that Kutcher allegedly had an affair with a 22-year-old blonde on the night of his sixth wedding anniversary with Moore. Demi goes on to reveal several other explosive stories throughout the book, including revealing that she was raped at 15 and once suffered a seizure after smoking synthetic cannabis and inhaling nitrous oxide at a party with her daughter, Rumer Willis. Moore reportedly began writing her memoir two years ago after going to rehab for trauma, co-dependency and substance abuse and fixing her relationship with her daughters. Inside Out will be available on September 24.
At first, it looked like they were just two young, beautiful ships passing in the night. But these days, Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes are banging in “Pleasure Town.” By which we mean Dean’s van. Mostly. Unfortunately, their sweet romantic getaway may have sparked a feud between Dean and Caelynn’s ex, Connor. On Wednesday, Deanie Babies sat down with Nick Viall for an episode of the latter’s podcast, The Viall Files . Dean explains how he first nervously met Connor Saeli after their Bachelor in Paradise love triangle. “I was like, ‘Hey, man. It’s nice to meet you,” he says. Dean even complimented him, saying: “You’re even more handsome in person [than] you are on television and from a distance.” “We didn’t really talk much,” the 28-year-old admits. “And then the reunion happened,” Dean recalls. “And he tried to talk s–t.” At the reunion, Connor had questions for Caelynn about why she had left Paradise with Dean. “Connor is this really incredibly good-looking dude,” Dean correctly acknowledges. “I was terrified.” “I was, like, building him up, and then after the show, I shook his hand,” Dean recalls. He continues: “And I was like, ‘Hey, it’s nice to officially, formally meet you.’” It’s always intimidating to meet your girl’s ex. Especially when he looks like Connor. Especially when he looks like Connor shirtless . “He leans over,” Dean narrates. “And he goes, ‘Nice to meet you too, man. I would really love to see the van sometime.'” “‘I’ve been thinking about doing the van life myself,'” he says that Connor told him. Dean shares: “And I go, ‘Bro, you can’t say that because you’ve been talking s–t about my van nonstop on the Bachelor in Paradise .’” Well … to be fair, a lot of people had a lot of opinions about Dean and his van this season. Personally, the van is fine — Dean’s doing okay. I’m just glad to see the mustache in the ashes of history where he belongs. That was not the end of it, if you can believe it. Dean relates to Nick that he slid into Connor’s DMs to wish him luck in the future. Standard politeness stuff. Well, apparently Connor once again brought up how much he envied the freedom of Deanie’s current lifestyle. “Are you jealous of it, or do you wanna talk s–t about it?” Dean asks rhetorically while recalling this exchange. Folks, it sounds like Dean’s van is a sore subject for him and he’s a little self-conscious. You can make fun of it if you want, but don’t expect him to fall in love with you if you do. Despite that clear point of contention, Dean says that he and Connor are “fine.” Dean is the one who ended up boning Caelynn into the sunset, so that’s probably a good alm to his ego. In fact, Dean says that he would “love” to help Connor get set up like he is and give him advice and generally show him the ropes. “You seem like a great guy. I wanna be friends,” Dean says. He then suggests: “Let’s be van buddies.” View Slideshow: Peter Weber as The Bachelor: A Nation Reacts!
Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ubisoft is taking its Ghost Recon franchise in a completely different direction with Breakpoint . The gaming studio invited Hip-Hop Wired.com for a unique hands-on preview of the game, and we left quite impressed with what we experienced. The developers for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint definitely listened to the community’s concerns while playing the previous title Wildlands . With Breakpoint , they set out to battle what hampered Wildlands , mainly the game’s repetitive nature that players fervently complained about. The preview was broken up into two parts, we got the experience Breakpoint’s campaign mode first with some PvE before we checked out the multiplayer. Immediately right after you finish customizing your characters look, you realize this isn’t the Ghost Recon you have grown accustomed too. In Wildlands and other Ghost Recon titles you were always the hunter, in Breakpoint , you are the hunted. The action takes place on the island of Auroa that is home to a tech company called Skell Technology that creates drones. However, the island gets taken over by former Ghost, Cole D. Walker ( Jon Bernthal ) and his army of Rogue ghost soldiers who cut the island off from the world. Bernthal puts his entire all in the character of Walker might we add and has been a great addition to the Ghost Recon franchise. You and your team are sent to investigate and are tasked with restoring communications. Things go left quickly, and your chopper is shot down. Once you wake up from the crash, you and your squad are tasked for looking for survivors while securing weapons and items along the way because you are practically naked. Initially, you and your fellow Ghosts were tasked to investigate the island Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint The game instantly introduces you to its new injury system, teaching you how to heal your character’s injuries. While traversing the fictional island of Auroa, you will encounter all types of rugged terrain like mountains, snow, swamps. The environment will either aid you in your fight to survive or can also slow you down or hurt you if you approach them in the wrong manner. The environment in itself is a character in the game and will impact your play. You will quickly discover there is a new camouflage system that will allow you to blend in with your surroundings. When activated, it will enable you to take out a baddie while prone or hide from harder enemies like the Wolves and drones that actively search for you. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Fans will find Breakpoint is similar to Wildlands as far as some elements from the previous title being present. But make no mistake Wildlands is a totally different beast. Survival is the key in this game with players having to do things like drink water, eat food, and as mentioned above, treat injuries to keep your character battle-ready. Players will be able to refill their canteens by either by merely locating a river or even a swimming pool. Also new to the game are bivouac campsites. While posted at one, players can equip buffs by eating or increase their character’s stamina by stretching. You can also plan ahead for your current missions for the camps. For example, if you want to attack a base at night, you can use the bivouac to skip to a time of the night when the guards are sleeping. As you can see preparation is key to your survival, and if you head out on a mission underprepared chances of survival are definitely slim. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Another great addition to the game is the fact is your player is fully customizable from your weapons, gear, and class which a new feature. All of that can also be changed at the bivouac. At the start of the game, you will be asked to choose between either being a Medic, Panther, Assualt, and Sharpshooter. Each has their own unique ability, like selecting the Medic class allows you to revive teammates utilizing a drone or even self-reviving your character. Once your type is selected, you will be able to unlock other abilities using a skill tree. This doesn’t mean you will have to stick with the first class you have chosen though, as you will be able to swap out classes when you visit a bivouac. Auroa is a huge map, so of course, getting around is made simpler and safer with the help of vehicles. You can either travel using an assortment of vehicles ranging from boats, helicopters, dirtbikes, and buggies. If you’re brave, you can travel by foot, but again you have to be wary of your stamina gauge, sustaining injuries and becoming dehydrated. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Staying on the topic of traveling to your missions, the developers definitely stressed the importance of players exploring Auroa the way they want and playing how they want. In Breakpoint , there is no one way to complete a mission giving you a choice to either go in guns blazing or with an excellent course of action. Also, like in Ubisoft’s other franchise Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey , Breakpoint won’t tell you where you need to go when you take on a mission. Instead, you will have to explore the island and hunt for intel and speak with NPCs to obtain that information. BUT if you’re not with that idea you can always turn on guide mode, but how much fun is that? Gunplay is also very smooth and easy to get accustomed to in the game. We were happy to see that developers focused on precision shooting more this time around. Headshots and well-placed shots are vital in helping dispatch your enemies quickly in firefights. Also returning fan-favorite sync shot, you and your team can put pins on enemies and coordinate takedowns with precision. Speaking with Breakpoint’s director, Eric Couzian, he even hinted at being able to sync up to 16 targets at one time. Thanks to the games new system using drones you collect in the game will help you accomplish this feat. Source: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a new take on the Ghost Recon franchise, but like other titles playing alongside friends is what makes this game even more fun. The world of Auroa is vast and full of dangerous enemies. While playing alone and defeating insanely difficult Wolves, and drones by yourself could be rewarding, teaming up with your buddies is what Breakpoint is about at its core. That even transfers over to PvP, which we enjoyed playing thoroughly. We took on another team in two multiplayer modes, elimination, and sabotage on three of the six multiplayer maps that will be available at launch. Our favorite was Skell Port, a perfect setting for those who enjoy sniping. Your progress from your PvE play transfers over to PvP thanks to shared progression, which is very clutch. Sabotage was also surprisingly very fun. In this mode, you either have to plant a bomb or defuse it depending on your team. Thanks to the well thought out maps, planning is very crucial in ensuring victory because running gung ho to the objective just doesn’t cut it. My team learned that the hard way our first go-around, but we quickly rebounded when we decided to come up with a gameplan. Now for those wondering if there will be AI teammates in the game, Couzian revealed that option will not be available at launch but will be coming soon. So unless you squad up, you will be on your own during solo play. Based on what we experienced at the event, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a welcome change in the series. We left very intrigued and are looking forward to getting our hands on the full game very soon. The action, story, survival mechanics, and emphasis on team play definitely pulled us in even more. We won’t be shocked if Breakpoint is one of the better games to drop this year. — Photo: Ubisoft / Ghost Recon Breakpoint
